             Anne had been soothing her son when she heard that sound of someone nearby. She did not stop the gentle movement and did not take her gaze from her son to see who had come in. “I am sorry if he’s disturbed you. I had to come and calm him down,” Anne spoke her voice was quiet and even as she was trying to make sure Edward dropped off to sleep. She loved taking care of her little boy without the nurses interfering.

       The interior of Queen Anne’s apartments were somber and cold without music playing,  cards being dealt,  and wine being poured.  The Princess Elizabeth had only recently departed to the estate of Hatfield House, whilst her royal mother and father remained at Greenwich Palace,   leaving Anne Boleyn in what Jane could only assume would be a glum humour.  Still,  the Queen’s courtiers delighted her with sewing,  prayers,  and recent news of court,  whilst Jane watched on with a narrowed gaze until being called upon.  ❛  Your Majesty.  Lady Jane informs me that the Viscount Rochford requests an audience.  Would you like me to permit it ?  ❜

Let me tell you all, it has been a long FOUR years as Mary. I’ve had so many ups and downs, amazing threads and made some amazing friends. I am so protective of Mary, not only as a muse but as a historian as well. I spend a lot of time reading about her and rereading things, but anyway. Here we are, four years later and feeling like I’ve come a hella long way with this blog. Archived once before but that is too much work and I don’t see myself doing that anytime soon haha. I’ve had so much fun with mary, even more so over the past few weeks. I’m more so happy that people enjoy my portrayal of her. Buuuuuut any who, on the list!

I was so happy when you weren’t wanting to do something angsty and it was so refreshing and new!
