6. - OTP for your muse?

Local highly emotionally unstable hotties in your area, looking for love? More likely than you think! Here he is, nuttier than a five-­pound fruitcake. Don't you just adore the idea of being the apple of his eye?

Anyway.

Despite the catastrophic pain in the ass that romancing mr. rosehearts would be, I adore shipping. I have so many ships that I like, and even the ones that I don't list here are definitely things I'd be willing to try out! But everything I list is probably going to consist of my favorites ( in no particular order; I adore them all ).

Now. To begin with, seeing as though I just did all of those romance hcs, it's only fitting that I lay out the people who I think would fit the description of his desires for things like intellectual stimulation, deep thought put into romantic gestures, and a general ability to keep up with his thirst for knowledge and his tendencies towards constantly rattling said knowledge off aloud. For these things I could picture Malleus, Jade, Azul, Jamil, or Vil. All of them are very smart, and all of them have canonically fine relationships with Riddle which is an important starting point for him. All of them also have plenty they could offer him by way of teaching him things he doesn't know, which would be huge for him, and all of them are clever enough in their own ways to disarm him if he catapults into an episode and starts raging. Yet another point.

AS FOR OTHER SHIPS I REALLY LIKE AND THINK COULD WORK IF GONE ABOUT IN THE RIGHT WAY, there's Rook, Leona, and Floyd. With Leona, obviously they have a lot in common in terms of their backstories, and Riddle was able to actually witness his Overblot firsthand and learn about a lot of these things. We also have a lot of canonical evidence of them having a good relationship and generally caring for each other, so again - good place to start off from. Leona is also smart but the problem with them is that they'd clash a lot - if Leona decides to poke at Riddle for entertainment purposes, things could become a disaster. I also think if he's too lazy, Riddle could quickly lose patience. However, build them up slowly and let them fall into a dynamic that works well enough and it could definitely happen!! With Rook, Riddle already looks up to him and appreciates him, but I think his antics and noncommittal nature at times might drive him up the wall a little bit. Again, with him it depends - there's definitely potential there, and a lot Rook can offer him by way of teaching him and opening the doors to a new perspective on the world.

Finally we have Floyd. I probably don't need to explain it, but here it comes regardless. He's off his rocker, Riddle is off his rocker, they'd be constantly bickering. However. Floyd could be extremely good for Riddle because he's so partial to games and entertainment, is pushy and doesn't listen, and can't bring himself to obey any set rules no matter what. It's very important to note, that behavior is something that Riddle would only be able to put up with because it's from Floyd. Anyone else would be written off at once, but as we see in canon material, Floyd is constantly trying to goad Riddle into stepping away from whatever he's studying or whatever bad mood he's in so that they can do something 'fun'. I think that would be extremely healthy for Riddle, to be in a relationship where he can be pulled away from his own obsessive compulsive rituals no matter what they are. I think Floyd also has an uncanny ability to say something really profound every so often out of nowhere, and it lands exactly the way he wants it to as evidenced in the anthology manga. That part of him would definitely provide good reason for Riddle to fall for him. Finally, I think their bickering and Floyd's unceasing attempts to bother him would provide intellectual stimulation for Riddle in a way - perhaps not the way he'd usually like, but it would keep him on his toes nonetheless, which is saying something.

Also! As an extra, I think Floyd, like Rook, has the ability to show Riddle a new perspective on the world and drag him out into it if he decided he felt like it, so that's a plus.

To sum all of this up, like I said before, I can get into pretty much any ship - these are just some of the ones I've roleplayed before or consumed content for and happen to really like. But believe me, with good chemistry and enough interaction, there's little I won't ship haha!

I especially liked the runaway scene, Jade and Floyd refusing to help?? And just kinda enjoying the chaos??? Malleus 😭😭😭 he is very inexperienced in the social area, I can totally see him trying to joke around by making a fake threat just like friends do but coming off as a serious threat, poor boy tries so hard but still has a long way to go. Also, the octamafia as the godmother fairy team? Perfect

UEEEEEE 😭 I’m glad you enjoyed Caterella!! I had tons of fun incorporating the TWST boys’ twisted personalities into a classic fairy tale story~

xbjsvsjsbwkssbsjs it feels like the plot took kind of a wild turn in that chase scene, but the ending was still somehow heartfelt 😌 I wanted to write the twins being little shits and having a good time after working to bringing Cater to the ball… So glad those two got to laugh at Cater’s expense 💕

With how OP Malleus is, I thought it wouldn’t make sense for him to go through the whole hassle of finding the foot that fits the shoe (or, in this case, the owner of the phone). He’d just try and solve the problem on the spot using an excessive amount of magic for the average person to comprehend 😂 I actually referenced a certain manga anthology chapter when I was coming up with ways for Malleus to react to Cater fleeing from him. He tries so hard, but his vibes are too intense!

I thought the Octatrio was a perfect fit for the “Fairy Godmother”, especially seeing as they all serve to grant people’s deepest desires—the Octatrio just has ulterior motives! I also thought it would be kind of a funny subversion to have a greedy or a less altruistic Godmother (aka Azul). The original joke for the Godmother scene was that Cater would say Azul was asking for too much, thus causing Azul to bail and then a secondary and much more benevolent Fairy Godmother, Lilia, would pull up to help out his Light Music Club homie. Sebek and Silver were going to be the original coachmen. I had to discard my original ideas because I wanted to have Lilia, Sebek, and Silver as the guards at the castle just to keep the running joke of “Malleus is missing”. I think the Octatrio ended up being the more effective Godmothering team anyway; I’m quite satisfied with them.

I hope I didn’t bore y’all with my author’s notes/behind the scenes babbling 😅 I just enjoy talking about the creative process and what I draw inspiration from! I’m also really hype for writing this series in general since I’m super into fairy tales myself ✨ that’s my own source of serotonin kwvsjsvwhenzkskshdo

When something happens that reminds her of the past, she fell into a mental breakdown by mumbling of how sorry she is for being alive in the first place that she would gladly die for them. After the horrible trauma she has, she turn to her normal self and tells them to forget what they've seen in her by reassuring that it was just an act. Whenever she felt hungry as a lion as always, she goes fully hyped of wanting to eat and with that kind of energy, she always get easily fooled by her classmates pranks. Being small brings her to feel very insecure of herself and wishes that she could be taller than among the students. Everyone thought that she’s a child or a freshman despite that she’s actually 2nd year. If anyone made fun of her height, they'll feel a dark aura with a sinister smile on her face and threatens them of scratching their faces or bite their arms and legs off with her pointy buck tooth. She won't hesitate unless one of them has to apologies for making up stupid jokes about her height. No matter how small her height is, she acts like a responsible student to the teachers and treated her kouhai’s like a height riva-I mean little siblings.

When she sees anyone getting hurt from lots of bruises, she quickly drags them to the infirmary and treat them with aid (lecturing them at the end). She doesn’t mind helping the people she hate as long as preventing her dorm mates from hurting others & themselves. When there’s a fight going on, she rushes between two or more oppressor to break off their feuds and scolds them for fighting without a reason. Her dorm mates finds her very annoying and persistent for acting like a peacemaker but if it weren’t for her, there wouldn’t be a problem at their dorm.

Likes to run around high buildings or do parkour without being noticed (except Ruggie he knows).

She would do anything to avoid Ashton’s class by making up lots of excuses or shut herself in her room until it ends even it means failing her grades.

Taniya wasn’t fond of fish and never eats one. She DID eat once but she finds it very weird for her taste including the rotten smell and because of that, she doesn’t want to step foot on Octavinelle dorm. (she doesn’t trust them because she smells fishy about Azul, Jade, Floyd, and the rest of their dorm mates…..I’m sorry but seriously, she doesn’t trust them)

She’s not interested in having a relationship (that’s a lie) and rather help her classmates to have confident of confessing their crushes but if any boy wants to win her heart, they need to do better than giving chocolates & flowers and saying sweet words or else she deliberately might friendzoning them because this feline won’t be easy to fall for......actually, she’s really clueless when it comes of being loved but even if she DOES like someone, she won’t admit to her friends/spouse that he’s not good enough for her or act like a classic tsundere (you adorable baka! obviously it’s-)
