i rewatched the 'my excellent subordinate' part of m25 today and oh man. the intimacy of being the only person to step into his quarantine box and to defuse the bomb around his neck, his life in your hands...both your lives in your hands...the trust...the indefeasible loyalty... m25 furukaza was insane

This movie was freaking made for me. I am conviced everything they added was just for me I MEAN LOOK AT THEM what even was the plot idk to busy looking

And everything in this movie looked so pretty???The backgrounds, the colors, THE ANIMATIONS??????

Finally had the chance to watch "The bride of Halloween" and they just knew what they were doing when they put Rei in that glass cell, on a throne-like chair with an explosive collar around his neck.

Also interesting to see how Kazami kind of carried the movie in the background by being the good subordinate he is.

I really have to wonder why Kaito wasn't in the Bride of Halloween movie. I mean, c'mon! Master of disguise! Halloween is like one of the most perfect holidays for a KID related movie!

Also, this is just me being a KaiShin fangirl, but it made me inordinately happy when Shinichi was halo'ed by the full moon behind him in the climax of the movie. It almost feels like Kaito was protecting Shinichi or even Shinichi channelling Kaito for strength or luck somehow. I dunno, i just like that what's usually associated with Kaito as the Magician of Moonlight was linked to Shinichi this time

It feels oddly poetic somehow 🤔

I think they start making each of these movies by first asking themselves, "What is the most intensely dangerous situation that we can put Conan into?" And then they try to come up with a story where that situation makes sense. 😂

Okay So i know we saw a protective suit and gloves on the floor in that M25 scene where Kazami sat exhausted in the bomb isolation facility after disarming Furuya’s collar bomb, so technically it’s likely that he was wearing it while disarming the bomb but WHAT IF in the middle of the process, he’d realised that the suit was too heavy and big and the collar too intricate so he couldnt do it well if his hands and arms werent exposed, what if he took the suit off in the middle without a warning, what if Furuya told him ‘oi kazami’ but he replied that this is fine, that he can do this, please trust me furuya-san while actually NOT being fully confident at all about succeeding but still being determined to do his best and what if furuya actually recognized this and reconfirmed that he is entrusting his life to kazami what if through this simple act they just accepted to live or die together what if
