Taking my hat off and having a moment of silence to respect Malta’s delightful The Busker, who were just announced to have been afflicted by the Curse of Number Two, performing in the dreaded first Eurovision 2023 semifinal (colloquially referred to as “The Death Semi”) between powerhouses Norway and Serbia.

(I once rank it last after the first listen, but after a second time, I regretted it. Käärijä, you are my winner)

3, Latvia: Sudden Lights - Aijā

(Spain is really stepping up for Eurovision this year. From SloMo to Eaea (both of them are really good, I just don't really like SloMo last year), so having Eaea this year is perfect)
