You are an idiot who just, in the eyes of the law, stole a multi-million dollar piece of AI animatronic tech from a highly controversial company.
Now a fugitive, you weigh your options, and with few choices available you decide going on the run is your best bet.
Time for a road trip.
scenes and concepts for something i'm working on ;)
thanks to my very smart and funny wife @asheep-asleep for the wizard rv idea bc that's so much better than anything i would have come up with

Got any good Spotify playlists? You’d seem like the type of person with good music taste.
Oh boy do I! This'll be fun. I'm also going to format this terribly.
I have a wide range of tastes, and I try to organize them into playlists, but I'm not very good at it. Either way, you'll find some bops in all of these, I can guarantee that.
Genre/Mood Playlists
Soft and Warm
This is a playlist full of songs that make me comfy/relaxed. They tend to have an airy, ethereal vibe to them.
Creeping Stalking
This playlist has songs with energy to them, mostly intense rock/indie music with angry or dark lyrics to them. The songs make me feel empowered so I usually use this playlist to drown out background sound and focus. "Killing Butterflies" by Lewis Blissett is my favorite, and an example of the type of music you'll find in there. I consider this playlist to be the most consistent in terms of genre.
Chill Drawing
It is what it sounds like. Songs I've found nice to listen to while drawing. Does depend on my mood though, and I haven't used it much lately.
6th grade field trip bus ride
Late 2000's and early 2010's songs lol. That's. All it is. Nostalgia playlist for zoomers and gen z's like me. Those songs that were always on the radio, that everybody knew, and that you'd hear on the bus all the time.
80's neon diner
Songs from the 60's to the 80's, nostalgia for people who deserve to have nostalgia. Imagine people dancing around a jukebox without a care in the world.
Character Playlists
Tip and Oh (Home)
This is a playlist I made back in 2021, about my comfort characters, Tip and Oh from the DreamWorks movie Home. (I was in the middle of a hyperfixation.) All the songs have a general theme of friendship, loyalty, and love. I listened to this playlist a LOT when I was writing for the characters last year.
Mai and 7 (Next Gen)
Also a friendship playlist, these songs fit the angsty personality of the main character from Next Gen, Mai Su, a very lonely little girl who's angry with the world and with robots.
Sun and Moon (And You)
This is also linked in my pinned post, but here it is again. This is a Sun/Moon & Reader playlist. A lot of these songs are from BamSara's playlist for Solar Lunacy, so they mainly apply to the fics I've read before. There's some angst, some fluff, some techno, it's not all that consistent. Varied playlist, much like people's varied interpretations of the characters.
Official Visions Playlist
Visions (Sun/Moon FNAF AU)
Another one from my pinned post, but I figured I'd share this too, since not everyone might know that I have a playlist for my fic. These mainly apply to Moon, and Moon and Gregory together (maybe I should start defining Visions as a DCA & Gregory fic, cause that's what it is now) and also vary in theme. Some of these are for existing chapters, and others are for chapters that have yet to be written. It's actually a bit hard to find good songs that fit my own perception of my characters, so this playlist is kind of a hodgepodge. I'm also still adding to it, so add it to your favorites if you wanna.
Those are all the playlists that I consider worth listening to, however I do have some playlists for my favorite bands (Mystery Skulls and Fleet Foxes) with all my favorite songs in them. I'd edit this post or add to it if people were interested lol. I'd also love to hear if anyone enjoyed these playlists!

My little babby eeuureu
Im tempted to call them a skrunkly but no,,, i will refrain
Tumblr media
This is Mil!
I’ve based them off of my interests, while it’s already a theme on it’s own, my love for Sun/Moon from Fnaf did influence my love for the theming. Plus it’s pretty on it’s own
Im projecting so hard but that IS the point so-
Mil is made up of a lot of As!
-Aro/Ace
-Autistic
-Agender
Uh they are VERY tall, being a dragon hybrid i’d expect that but being a bee and a plushie does diminish their size, off the top of my head i’d say they’re around 6’7 but honestly they could be way taller and probably will be.
Originally i just had them be a large fluffy dragon bee [ or honeybee ehe ]
But i’ve been wanting to create my own little Sun and Moon DCA AU thingy and i thought Mil would be perfect!
[ This is a very basic ref, it was really just for colours ]
Tumblr media
Anyways “ how do they fit into my made on the spot FNAF SB AU?” I ask myself, not you reading cus i have no clue what you’d say.
WELL
Um they would just be emotional support for Sun/Moon since their plushie-ness makes be specialised in giving and receiving hugs. Essentially they would just hang around the daycare, they can be awake at all hours to help both robot laddies. Of course kids will get hugs too but S+M probably need a lot more,,
Anything special about them?
-They hand out honeydrops, which can nullify the effects of Sun and Moon’s sundrops and moondrops respectively. It is a built in safety precaution just incase a child consumes more than they should.
-On their tail is a large zipper! It can store anything! And I mean anything! Mil mostly likes to keep spare teddies on hand, it’s also good for quick lost and found storage so they can quickly give back anything a child [ or S+M ]
They love arts and crafts so they keep a lot of art supplies and pages in there too! They even have specialised pockets in their tails just for paper, so it doesn’t crumple up etc.
Tumblr media
Now here’s another question. for myself
Will i make it edgy?
Nah
My plan is to keep it as a light hearted story!
Just cute little interactions between characters, maybe a shitpost here and there. If i ever do decide though to delve into something more dark
[ keeping in mind different people have differing ideas as what constitutes as dark ]
I would add a quick warning to the post, simple as.
Most likely just Mil comforting Sun/Moon or vise versa
Tumblr media
That’s all for now! Thanks for ready my ramblings :D
I’ll keep in touch and post…. whenever!
See ya soon!

A Fic Meme
Tagged by @whimsofffate - Oh no... now I’m REALLY gonna show my age... I’m gonna fill this out as it’s supposed to be with AO3 stats... but I’m also gonna include my Fanfiction.net stuff when applicable, because there’s a LOT more on there. XD
WHAT IS YOUR TOTAL WORD COUNT ON AO3?
12,030 - With only 7 (really? I’m up to 7 on there already? dang I have written 5 DCA fics by now, haven’t I...) short one shots up there, yeah, that makes sense.
Ff.net:  220,399 - Yup. That sounds a bit better. XD I don’t really do the long epics that others can pull off, but I do enough small one shots that they do start to add up after, oh, 17 years.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU WRITE?
Whenever an idea strikes? Honestly, I tend to be pretty sporadic, lol. When I’m really into a particular fandom, I can get some stuff out with a fair amount of regularity. Case in point, I’ve written 5 DCA fics since February. Back in my TMNT heyday, I wrote 27 fics in just under 2 years (and that’s not counting shorter drabbles and 3 sentence stories).
But I lose that bug? I could disappear for a very, very long time, lol. Took a 7 year break between ‘06 and ‘13. So I guess the best answer is simply that I write whenever I feel inspired to do so. I have at least made an effort to not just drop it altogether anymore, though, because I do enjoy it, but the time away can make me forget that.
DO YOU HAVE A ROUTINE FOR WRITING?
Generally I will try to find something to put on in the background from either myNoise or Tabletop Audio that suits what I’m doing (when writing Those Three Words I used Rain, and for Just Another Tuesday I used Overland with Oxen from Tabletop Audio). As I get decent sized chunks done, I’ll move them to WordCounter and go through the Keyword Density to make sure I don’t use, like, “even” 5 times in one paragraph. XD
...and that’s about it? Depending on the fic, I will do an outline beforehand, but a lot of mine are pretty short and don’t really need it as they are about one specific thing. In the Pit of My Stomach, Protector, and Solo were all thoroughly outlined first, for example. XD
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE KINKS/TROPES/PAIRING?
Oh gosh... uh... I-I don’t know? XD
FRIENDSHIP FICS! I LIVE for friendship fics! There are shamefully few of them in comparison to romantic fics, so I cling to the ones I find and enjoy, lol. I’d say “found family” but honestly most of the original material I enjoy has that already, so that’s not much of a fanfic trope.
Slow burn, friends to lovers...
...does “angst” count as a trope? XD
As for pairings, I do enjoy finding a good Raphril fic. I have a tendency to enjoy the canon pairings, so when I don’t, it is nice to find good fics of it. Oh, and Kallura (EDIT: how did I forget this one?? lol) and the MariChat side of the “love square” - probably the least “canon” side. XD
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE FIC OF YOURS?
I don’t have a single favorite, actually. I have a couple I think stand a bit above the rest though: See You Soon, Solo, and Empty Fish Tank. There are certainly others I really like, but I feel like those three are the most polished.
YOUR FIC WITH THE MOST KUDOS?
AO3 kudos: I Can’t Help But Help Myself (my first fic in a small fandom - not surprising)
Ff.net favorites: Never Alone (REALLY?? ...why? XD I mean, I don’t think it’s bad or anything, it’s just kinda... generic? does make me feel good about my action scene writing, though!)
ANYTHING YOU DON’T LIKE ABOUT YOUR WRITING?
WHY CAN’T I STOP WITH THE FRAGMENT SENTENCES, MAN??? It is a curse. It just... sounds better in my head that way... even though I know it’s not proper writing, lol. I also have a tendency to ramble sometimes. XD And then I have a hard time getting rid of those bits because I like them, even if they don’t really fit.
NOW SOMETHING YOU DO LIKE (ABOUT YOUR WRITING)?
I think I’m pretty good at getting emotions across through a mix of dialogue, body language, and inner thoughts. I may not write the most creative stuff, but hopefully it’ll give you all the feels. XD I also enjoy putting little bits of snark in the writing itself (as in non-dialogue stuff), especially when writing through the POV of characters like Paultin and Raph.

Ed. Note: Contributor Wesley met up with local entrepreneur Amy Dobbins to discuss her brand Mint Cream and found how this young Memphian combines her passions with business. See a few other “Memphian To Meet” profiles here. Meet Amy Dobbins. She’s a manicurist, vintage fashion aficionado, and entrepreneur. Amy is the founder of Mint Cream, a unique retail experience that caters to the true Americana obsessive. I met with Amy at her studio and retail space at 525 N. Main, the old Greyhound bus station in Uptown. She walked me to her second-floor studio past abandoned ticket booths and browning marble counters and floors. The building is old and forgotten, but there are signs of those breathing life into it, ensuring that it can be useful to some even if it most likely never again be useful to all. It’s fitting that this is where Amy’s business thrives. She and I talked about her style, her inspirations, and her business. Wesley: Tell me a bit about Mint Cream and yourself. Amy: Mint Cream is me. I do nails, I sell vintage clothes, accessories, toys, comics, art, you name it. I started doing that around 2010, but as Dare Threads Vintage and Art. I rebranded to Mint Cream in 2014. I do all of that out of this studio right here, and sometimes I host pop-ups for other people in my studio, too. Wesley: For real? All of that? Amy: Well, I also have a booth at Found Memphis on Broad Avenue, and I’m always doing pop-up shops around the city. I curate artists, crafters, or other vintage resellers and get them together and hold expos called Mint Cream Market. My last one was at Tad’s Imaginarium on Madison. You been there? Wesley: Yeah, it’s that warehouse Downtown with all the airstream trailers and stuff in it, right? Amy: Yeah, that’s the place. I love it so much. And I’m not picky about where I do the expos either. Hell, I’ll do ‘em in a laundromat if I had the chance. Amy Dobbins’ studio at 525 N. Main, or what your grandma’s bedroom would look like if Pintrest were around in the 40s. Wesley: So, Mint Cream is the brand that all of your services funnel into. Amy: Definitely. I mean, people can get their nails done at my clothing popups, and I sell clothes and do nails out of my studio. It’s a big thing, and this is just the beginning. I have to start where I start and get the vision out there. Wesley: How’s business going? Is there a big market for vintage clothing in Memphis? Amy: Oh yeah, it’s going good. I get a lot of college kids, millennials, folks who like Americana. Rockabilly tourists hit me up all the time too, especially when they’re coming to Memphis to play shows. They come here and shop or order online, and I ship all over the world. I’m doing so much that I have to start thinking about the future, which means having employees working with the nail part, or the shop part, or the marketing parts. So many pins and brooches! Also, the dangle of her bracelets on her wrist were giving me this crazy ASMR tingle. Possible Mint Cream opportunity? Wesley: That’s exciting. What kind of people would you hire to work with you? Amy: Cool young people. But for real, you have to love the stuff. You gotta match my nostalgia. Artists that are struggling, you can work for me. I’m not gonna do a drug test on you or be like “you need a degree or years of experience”, you know? Stay-at-home-moms who want to work from home online for my online shop. Wesley: So you don’t have a day job? Amy: No, it’s all Mint Cream. I go out of town to thrift stores and estate sales to get this stuff, it’s so much fun. I’ve worked hard and it’s only getting bigger and better. Wesley: But what’s stopping me from just going to a thrift store and buying my own vintage clothes? Amy: Imagine thrift stores as Mint Cream’s wholesaler. I buy clothes, inspect them, clean them, and re-sew buttons and repair zippers if I need to. Mint Cream isn’t a thrift store, all my clothes are curated and taken care of. Wesley: What draws you to 40s and 50s fashion over modern fashion? Amy: I really like the curvier cuts and high-waisted clothes of that time, but also I love amount of time and effort that women put into their appearance just to go work factory jobs or other other jobs you don’t normally dress to the nines for. And I love 50s fashion because of its rebelliousness. It’s like “I’m free, I can do this, I can do that, I can like rock n’ roll and look the part.” Vintage clothing just comes with personality, I think. I seriously almost bought that floral blouse for myself. Gender is dead. Wesley: I’ve often wondered why people of color, black people in particular, become engrossed in Americana aesthetic and fashion, despite the fact that the era and ideals that it glorifies weren’t particularly great for anyone who wasn’t a white male. Does that ever bother you? Amy: Of course! But fashion is like celebration, and a lot of my style icons for those eras are black women. Coretta Scott King, Martin Luther King Jr.’s wife was very fashionable. That lady was sharp! Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross, Zora Neale Hurston, they were all beautiful and awesome people who did awesome things. They was punk as hell. Wesley: Did they inspire you in any ways other than fashion? Amy: Oh yes. Before I started doing nails full time, I worked as a pharmacy tech at Kroger in 2006. But I was just not about that life, not about standing on my feet all day and taking orders from people. I wanted to create art, you know? I wanted to do what I want. Those ideas were always in my head. Wesley: That’s a pretty brave way to life your live. Amy: It’s a lifestyle. It’s definitely a lifestyle.
