IF IT’S ONLY A TOUCH…AITA? by @tteokdoroki This one is so good and the most recent one I read. It's the perfect amount of angst and smut. It does have some descriptions of the reader having braids, darker skin, and brown eyes so if you don't like when it's not vague about how the reader looks then this is probably not for you. However, those descriptions do not match me at all and I didn't have a problem while reading at all. I think you should definitely give it a read if you like the brother best friend trope!

Talented Ass Writers: Tumblr (1)

Talented Ass Writers.

As the fan-fiction connoisseur that I am, I see it only fitting that my first official post be a shout out to all the great writers that I’ve discovered, befriended, and thoroughly enjoyed since my arrival on the holy ground that is tumblr.

Now. I’m 22 years old, and I’ve read a lot of fan-fiction in my days, guys, so I’d like to think I know good quality material when I read it.  I’ve even dabbled in the writing aspect of it, but we aren’t going to talk about that. I’m more of a reader than a writer, at least when creative writing is concerned. I have ideas, but I can never think them through to where I want them to end up, so alas, I read others works and immerse myself in worlds inside worlds. 

For the past year or so, I’ve been heavy into the BNHA fandom, hence the name on my blog. My favorite character is Bakugou Katsuki. As if that wasn’t obvious, but I’m a fan-girl at heart, so I read on multiple platforms including: wattpad, quotev, ffnet, AO3, obscure websites that exist, and of course tumblr, and in this post and the parts that will come later, I will mention lots of authors from different platforms that I think people should know about, in my humble opinion.

I mainly read reader inserts or fics with OC’s, but I’m not going to say that there won’t be some character x character action because in the past, I’ve read plenty of those for several fandoms.

She currently only has stories for BNHA characters including: Shinsou, Kaminari, Sero, and Todoroki. She writes NSFW and SFW, but she is a 18+ blog.  

One of My Favorites: Missed Connection *

@pleasantanathema - This blog is strictly 18+ NSFW content, so this one is for all my deviants, like myself. She writes smut beautifully, and her writing is just amazing. I once requested her to write Jealous!Bakugou, and she delivered. She writes for Haikyuu and BNHA, so pick your poison, and I just want to add that she may or may not be one of the reasons that I thirst, occasionally, over Endeavor.

@bratwritings - Nat is super talented. Her blog is 18+. She has great creativity, and she is very descriptive in her writing. She writes for BNHA, and the characters she’s wrote for, I think she’s captured them very well!

@lady-bakuhoe - this list is far from complete, but I wanted to go ahead & put Jo on here. If you like to read Fanfiction, I’m sure you’ve stumbled upon one of Jo’s fics. SHE HAS SO MANY GOOOD ONES. I love her writing so much. She has a way with words, and I read a lot, honestly one of the best. She’s not currently writing, but I would definitely recommend checking out her stuff here or on AO3. 18+ only though.

@ikinabi - Red!! The Kiri Stan who made me also kinda thirst for Kirishima! She writes beautifully. I adore her as a writer & as a person! You won’t regret checking her out, especially if you live for kiri & his unbreakable form! 18+.

@gallickingun - Morgan not only writes for my angry boy baku, but she’s also writes (wrote?) for my asshole prince of all Saiyans that I love so dearly, and she’s good at it. That’s why she’s on the list, obviously. She writes smut, spice, fluff, ANGST (I’m still mad about that ending MORGAN 😂) & she does it beautifully. She’s also a really chill person, and you won’t regret checking her out. 18+

@league-of-thots - Jay’s blog is 18+, and she writes for several characters, including Hawks and Natsuo. She’s really good at smut, which I believe is slowly becoming a prerequisite for this list, and her writing, the not smutty parts, is also superb. She also throws in some kinks, and We all secretly like the kinky stuff, you can admit it to me. 

One of My Favorites: How Much I Love You*

@rivendell101 - I feel like I keep saying things like “she’s so good,” but they wouldn’t be on this list if they weren’t good. I’m not normally into threesomes, okay, but after reading the way she wrote her todoxreaderxbaku ... I had a change of heart. Her fic is really well done, and I can’t wait to read more of her stuff! 18+.

One of My Favorites: Some like it Hot*

@ichor-and-symbiosis - Don’t get me wrong. I love my heroes, but this is one of my fave villain blogs, specifically Shigaraki. She totally writes for other characters including Heroes and other Villains, but she captures Tomura so well, and she has so many fics! If you want some five finger death punch, AKA Shigaraki, in your life, I would definitely check this blog out! 18+.

@bnhabadass - Nora’s tumblr name fits her so well because she’s definitely a badass! She writes for a lot of BNHA characters, and her writing is really good! I’ve read some of her work, and I plan on reading more because I haven’t been disappointed yet! 18+.

@burnedbyshoto​ - Lyssa! The Todoroki stan of Todoroki stans. She captures Shouto so well in her writing, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the fics that I’ve read by her. If you love a certain icy hot bastard, I think you’ll like her blog! 18+.

One of My Favorites: House-sitting and Concupiscence*

@cutesuki--bakugou - Sarah is so talented. She writes, obviosuly, but she also DRAWS, and in this house, we stan multi-talented queens. She drew me MMA bakugou, and I will forever be indebted to her, but that’s not why she’s on this list. She’s on here because she’s super great at writing, especially for Baku. She also has great xOC content, but she does xReader as well! 18+.

One of My Favorites: Frigid*

@todourouki - Despite the name, this blog writes for BNHA and Haikyuu! I am partial to the BNHA fandom because it has my angry boy in it, but I do like the Haikyuu fandom, and I feel like it’s growing very rapidly recently. I love this blog’s writing style, and the smut is great! 18+.

I’ll admit, recently I’ve hit a bit of a dry spell myself in terms of reading fanfic, only hitting up AO3 occasionally in between everything else.

First up, a quick warning: not all of these are Sherlolly, but they’re here because they are among the fics that I’ve read recently which have made me go full-on Bill and Ted style ‘woah’. Genevieve pondered the thought for a moment before looking back at her reflection in the vanity,  Her chest hurt as she swallowed down everything and put on her false smile and prepared to play the game as she stood up and faced the sea of false smiles...

"You look great, guys~" Genevieve smiled as she passed the other two girls, Krystal gleaming a little. "Obviously~ You're still the star~" Everyone laughed. Genevieve knew that Krystal loathed her...  She only invited her to model since she was famous and pretty but even then she figured her mother pushed her hand to make Krystal look good.  If anyone was going to stab her in the back it'd be her... She'd tried and failed to sabotage her so many times from putting sewing pins and thumbtacks in her high heels to superglue in her lipgloss.  

Genevieve always stayed a step ahead, Her stomach internally tensing as Krystal hugged her arm, leading her to the clothing racks. She knew if it wasn't for her name she wouldn't be here.

"Oh my goood~ Gene~ I didn't know you'd be here! Sellllllfie!" The second girl, Sam.  She was slightly less aggravating...It was just that once she'd finished sharing lunch with Gene and getting enough photos to post on Instagram of her with a 'celebrity' she'd bad mouth her in private chats. Genevieve smiled, sliding her arms around the brunette, resting her head next to her's and smiling at the camera...

Gene glanced back as Krystal shoved a dress at her, it was ugly - out of everything she'd made for this show it was probably the worse thing there... That was what today was going to be. Genevieve simply smiled as she took it. "Do you mind if I accessorize it myself?" She asked sweetly and Krystal pursed her lips as she wouldn't dare to say something in front of someone else... "Of course not! We all know you're the best~!" She joked and Sam laughed, Genevieve smiled, grabbing her own bag as she walked into the dressing room.

The dress was pink and sparkly, that was about the only good two things about it, It was short in the front but only came to her knee before getting super long in the back; she'd probably trip on it...The sleeves weren't even sewn right, one of her arms refusing to even fit through it. "Krystal~" She chimed loudly. "It's beautiful! But the sleeves are giving me a bit of trouble I think one of them is a bit smaller..No worries!! I think I can fix it for you." She was loud intentionally, she could hear Krystal practically choke and grinned to herself.

It had to be quick but luckily she was fairly good at quick...What she couldn't sew, she glued.  She'd cut the sleeves off entirely, cutting several strips of the fabric, braiding them to make the strap look intentional instead of messily cut,  It was far too tight around her stomach, She'd made it into a deep V so it was far more flattering, shortening the hem all the way around. It was a bit messy inside - not that Krystal had even bothered finishing the seams on Gene's dress but she made it work.  Everyone blinking at her twice as she walked out. "Sorry. I had to make a couple of other alterations for it to work... I think you overestimated how tall I am~" She teased a little acting as if nothing was a big deal. "It looks okay, right?"  

Krystal grimaced a little before laughing, forced laughter. "Oh my god, it looks even better! I'm so sorry! It was so last minute..."  Excuses that flooded between her lips.

The show was fine, Genevieve found the runway the only thing that didn't make her want to vomit.  

"I'd love to hang out but I've got some shopping to take care of!" She ran out of the venue, letting out her breath as she began walking... She ended up at the mall if only because she really needed to clear her head and be anywhere else...  

Gene found a table off on her own, sitting down with a cheap sketchbook she grabbed, sketching to try to relieve the anxiety in her shoulders. Her eyes landing on a suspicious but handsome character in the corner, he'd tried to stay in the shadows, one phone to his ear the other in his hand as he spoke. She could barely make out his lips - She absentmindedly stared as she began to sketch him in a handful of different outfits.

"What are you looking at?"   His voice was sharp as he suddenly was beside her, she shifted back in her chair instinctively - staring at him awkwardly. "Uhm..." She pointed at the sketchpad and he glanced, rolling his eyes after a moment, turning and walking away without another word.

"...You again?" The man had walked into her a week later in the mall, literally. She didn't really know why her instinct was to argue with him about clothing - maybe it was just something in her finally crawling out.  She was sick of everyone assuming everything about her - sick of pretending to be the cookie cut girl  She was admittedly a hypocrite, She'd judged him just from his look - he looked like the stereotypical bad boy.  If she was Barbie he was Gi-joe and even that wasn't a good comparison...  

It was only when they were out of sight that he switched, twisting on his foot and in a moment she found herself pinned against the wall. "You need to stop followin- " He blinked, Surprised as her fingers grasped his throat instinctively; staring at her as he grabbed her wrist, prying it back. "You need to stop following me right now...If you're insistent on arguing about - whatever this is, blondie." He stepped back, pulling a pink glittery phone from his jacket. "What's your number?"   She told him as he sighed, entering it into his phone and her's soon buzzed. "Text me." He waved his hand dismissively.

She laid in her bed at 3 AM, she couldn't sleep... Her fingers hovering over the text field for  a long moment before texting 'What are you doing?' It didn't take him as long as she expected to reply.

'Can't sleep...What are you doing, Blondie?'  

'Same.'

'What keeps a princess awake at night?'  The gif he sent with the message amplified the sarcasm. 'Is there a pea under your mattress?' He followed with, She huffed, pursing her lips.

'Go fuck yourself.' she hit send - she didn't mean to... She'd typed it instinctively but intended to erase the message.

There was quiet for a few minutes before he texted back. 'Ouch. I'm hurt.'

She sighed, staring out the window. 'I don't live in a dream house despite what everyone thinks.'  

'A mindreader barbie? Never met one of those.'

'Do you ever stop with the sarcasm?'

'...No.' The sad puppy face he sent with it was what finally broke her, starting to laugh as she glanced out the window before back to her phone

'Do you like waffles?' She asked, sitting up.

'...Why?'

'Because I was going to ask you if you wanted to go eat some fucking waffles with me.'

'oh...i'll pick u up. txt me ur address.'
