Dragon's Prophet Interview // Lyrical Ones from Lyrical Opposition on Vimeo.
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June 2013, Lyrical Opposition had the opportunity to interview with Merv Lee Kwai, the project manager for the upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Dragon's Prophet.
During their interview, Kwai provided insights into the development of Dragon's Prophet and the team's goals for the player housing system that was being previewed at the event. The E3 expo, which ran from June 11th to June 13th that year, served as the perfect stage to showcase this innovative feature.
Cross Allan delved into questions surrounding the game's soundtrack and how the composers aimed to musically represent the fantastical world of Dragon's Prophet. With housing taking center stage, the two may have discussed how sound design and music would enhance this core gameplay element.
As project manager, Kwai offered a behind-the-scenes look at the collaborative process between the game's developers, artists, and audio teams. He possibly shared anecdotes about the creative vision for Dragon's Prophet and the challenges in bringing such an ambitious MMORPG to life.
The interview allowed Lyrical Opposition's audience to gain exclusive insights into one of the most anticipated titles at E3 2013, as told by the project's leadership. With housing being the main focus, fans surely caught a glimpse of how this unique feature would differentiate Dragon's Prophet within the MMORPG genre.

Re-Entrification: Documentary Screening | Presented by BraveMaker
With lyrical poetry, this film tells the story of residents displaced from their homes due to the Bay Area's high cost of living.
Re-Entrification is a feature-length documentary film that tells the story of residents that have been displaced from their homes due to the city's high cost of living. Tiny homes became a sanctuary where families can have the fundamental human right of a home. This film tells their story on how they made the decision to seek this type of support. Re-Entrification sheds light on the housing crisis in the Bay Area.
Re-Entrification means being able to move back into communities and neighborhoods that a person is originally from. It’s the way to bring back its history, beauty, struggle, pain - the soul. Re-Entrification is to create and reclaim sustainable economic structures that allow people living in the neighborhoods to thrive within their own neighborhood; to recapture the native essence of that place.
Doors open at 6pm SATURDAY MARCH 9TH. Capacity is limited.
Film program starts promptly at 6:30pm which includes a question and response time with the filmmakers and special guests.
