Can somebody tell me wtf is "forbidden" about Elriel? Because we all know the blood duel shit would never happen because if Elain told Lucien she loved Azriel he would immediately back off and if Azriel said he loved Elain Rhysand would back him. And it would be perfectly convenient for Elain to marry Azriel and stay in the Night Court with her sisters forever and never venture out of her comfort zone. Azriel was never kept from seeing Elain. Lucien was though. Lucien wasn't allowed anywhere near his MATE without an armed fucking guard despite all he did for Feyre despite her setting him up to fail. And marrying Lucien would mean going away from the Night Court, away from her sisters who coddle her and keep her "safe." So actually Lucien and Elain is more forbidden than Elain and Azriel.

u know what, sure, i've got my issues with feathertail's characterisation in A Shadow In Riverclan (specifically in regards to how they wrote her relationship with sasha) but honestly big up to her for breaking free of the "shallow dead love interest" box she was sitting in fanon-wise before that. im glad that a lot of people's first impression of feathertail is now about her trauma her and trust issues from that book rather than just about crowfeather. not because female characters with romance centric arcs are worth less obviously, but because warrior cats has such a deficit of major female characters that are not heavily associated with romance and/or motherhood that knocking one halfway off the list is, to some extent, a tiny little victory

Utahime's CT finally being revealed has made me so happy. What a powerful technique, and she was drawn so beautifully, but I love what it represents.
So far, it doesn't seem practical for 1v1 battles, but in a group situation, it's perfect: she's a support class, and those are valuable. For a teacher who always preaches teamwork to her students, it makes sense that her Technique would include bulking her allies.
What's more interesting to me is that Gojo became a teacher because he wanted strong allies. He wanted to raise the next generation to fight alongside him. He didn't want to have to be a singular pillar holding everything up, and he didn't want the new generation to feel pressured into being like him. Utahime, to me, feels like the perfect icon for what Gojo meant. She is the perfect symbol for his ideals.
She's someone who can make herself and all of her allies stronger. She embodies teamwork in a field that often celebrates working and dying alone.
