I think it'd be pretty cool if the FSM was treated a bit more like religion. Like he's kinda worshiped as God and the person who created the world but some people don't believe he's real. It probably wouldn't work in the show cause of how well known Wu and Garm are but I think it would work a bit better in the movie verse if you take out some of the Garm stuff and make him more like a scary legend like the devil.

And I think it would be fuckin hilarious if one of the non believers run into like Lloyd or Morro and they say the don't believe in the fsm and they just. Fuckin laugh their asses off. The non believer has no idea what's going on meanwhile to the cousins this is the funniest shit in the world cause THATS THEIR GRANDPA. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT THINK GRAMPS IS REAL???

Lloyd broke the cycle not because he was a good enough master for his student not to stray away, but because he apologised. He knew It was his fault and told Arin that. He goes "I'm sorry, I should have made finding your parents a higher priority" HE KNOWS THAT IT WAS HIS FAULT. Wu didn't admit to Morro that it was his fault he was wrong, Wu didn't apologise to Morro. The FSM blamed Nineko, he never apologised. But Lloyd did, even through his actions were fair, sure he promised they'd go find Arin's parents, but the world was going to end if they didn't do certain things. But Lloyd didn't say that, Lloyd said he was sorry, he said what he should have done. The cycle was never about 'first students turning evil'. the cycle was the teacher never taking responsibility for what they did wrong.

you know there's something in how oni traditionally inhabited mountains and abandoned fortresses, and then where the FSM and the ninja chose to live.

the FSM created his home on top of one of the highest mountains in ninjago, high above the clouds. maybe something about it felt nostalgic, so much like the mountains his oni mother had raised him on, and where his dragon father would make covert visits to him. maybe something about it felt safe.

maybe something about the destiny's bounty, a once great ship being made home again, felt right to wu. maybe something in the temple of airjitzu, abandoned and left to rot for so long, felt like home to wu and lloyd. perhaps the monastery, perched upon that very same mountain, felt like a homecoming to wu and lloyd for so many reasons.

maybe when garmadon stepped foot on the mountain for the first time in years, ready to protect instead of harm, ready to build instead of destroy, he felt an odd sense of peace.

Random headcanon

Lloyd, Wu and the FSM all have some level of permanent damage to their non dominant hand from all the times they were drinking tea and it spilled.

For the FSM it was mostly due to sudden attacks and shocking news

For Wu it was because he was often distracted by his thoughts

For Lloyd it's mostly his clumbsyness and frequent undersleeping.

It's a family trait at this point.

Garm and Morro do not have this.

Garm was never really into tea like his dad and Wu

Morro because he yote himself off this mortal coil before he had the chance.
