Guys, it’s his college outfit, if not it’s very close. I’m not sure what this means, but Sabrina Cotugno always foreshadows/hints things in the artwork.

haha more angst ig
I had this Idea a while ago but I thought given the recent pages, it would be a good time to post (CLICK ON THE IMAGE FOR THE WHOLE PIC)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok I didn't realise how creepy the last panel looks by itself there- nevermind that. If you couldn't guess, I can't draw explosions OR fire... but hey, I tried!
Ummm Yeah- What if the society goes Kaboom? cause I sure think it will. I think it would also be EVEN cooler if Robert or Frankenstein is stuck inside and Jekyll has to go rescue them whilst also literally dying himself from all these transformations. You could say this also ties into the theory that I did with @ja9-animations
I'm sorry I have posted practically nothing lately - school and life is very chaotic but hopefully I can push some more stuff out later-I have lots of plans >:) ok sorry for the ramble have a great day

OK SO TGS THEORY
(spare me)
kay, since Jekyll's locked in his room and Lanyon may be on the way. Maybe it's gonna play out like Ch.8 of the original novella. Where Jekyll is transforming like crazy and is holed up in his lab. Quite similar, no?? In the chapter as well, they bust down the door and he dies as Hyde. ENTER THAT SERUM FROM A FEW CHAPTERS AGO THAT THEY USED ON SINNETT? THE ONE THAT MIMICS DEATH??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(ch.11 btw)
Jekyll took it from Frankenstein. It may still be in his lab. If Lanyon/the mob break down the door and he's Hyde, he can take it and fake his death, no?

Ooh, Lanyon's back and he's PISSED.
Tumblr media
Also cackling over this panel. The sass from Frankie is strong.
At least Creature can be seen in the corner, maybe he can de-escalate.

okay slightly calmed down a little and have had a thought process time
my main thought is: what was going on in robert's head when hyde was on the other side of that door???
because like. there's a ton of stuff he could have thought in that moment, and I kinda just wanna list whatever I think he might have been thinking at the time:
hot. (IM SORRY HE WAS REALLY HOT IN THE THIRD PANEL AND I WILL NOT GET OVER IT)
hyde was impersonating henry the whole time and I've just admitted I love henry to someone who can use this as blackmail. this is a thought that definitely could have crossed his mind, however it probably would have been quickly debunked by the fact that henry was being very henry a few pages ago.
hyde has done something to henry. very straightforward, valid thought process, very in character for hastie robert lanyon and his edward hyde hating self.
henry and hyde are working together (sleeping together too? there were rumours...) to play with my feelings for some unknown cruel reason. unlikey thought pattern, not impossible but definitely very improbable for lanyon.
and, last but not least, hyde and henry are the same person. I don't think lanyon would jump immediately to this conclusion, and definitely not without some solid proof such as seeing a transformation or frankenstein explaining or showing him the notes, but I think he will definitely come to the conclusion at some point very soon.
I also think maybe robert might have been too shocked to have any actual thoughts in that moment, so other contenders are:
what?!
why?!
how?!
I'm still reeling from the page (see: my two previous posts) and I'll probs have more theories later, but here's my thoughts as of now.

I made my own little head canon this morning of the mindscape, BECAUSE SHE’S TRYING HER BEST OKAY not her fault Hyde keeps doing his fuck-uppery all the time, and the mindscape deserves more attention as a whole, the concept at least.
HC: I think after that whole freak-out that Hyde had during the exhibition and a little bit before it, made the mindscape be COMPLETELY wiped out from everything, all the memories, all the people, I mean we saw what happened to Mind!Lanyon DIDN’T WE????? (RIP whiteboard face Lanyon) Maybe the wipe out sent his memories, the creatures in Henry’s brain, deeeeeeeep down below, like an ocean, it sent a twilight zone spot all the way to the challenger deep zone, somewhere so far and cold that only few can survive. CUZ LIKE- HELLO??? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MINDSCAPE ERAS??? She was slayin… but then being gay and mentally ill ruined her (RELATABLE!!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We can see that it was more like a library, as all minds are depicted as, glowing like an aura of heaven in Jekyll’s current view, and all around the areas where the shelves and clutter is, it’s dark! It’s hollow like! You can obviously see the levels, but in the newer pages of the mindscape there’s none of it, it’s all WHITE and PALE, almost like a hollowed out fishbone!
AND IF all the places and ideas were sent to a different place in his mind, a place where Jekyll might not even be able to reach-HOW can he get it back??????? Is there even a way???? Maybe getting rid of Hyde is the solution since now he’s like a cancer to Jekyll’s body. Maybe Hyde is the one who absorbed every bad thing, perhaps even everything, and killing him will be like exploding a piñata but instead of candy. ITS EVERY NIGHTMARE AND MEMORY YOU’VE EVER CONCEIVED SINCE 4 YEARS OLD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We don’t even know ourselves how deep his mind is, it’s almost like the ocean, vast and endless.

TGS Theory Time
So me and @echooefrost were theorizing...
Remember that scene from chapter 3 where Jekyll and Lanyon were watching the play and well...
Tumblr media
And then what happens the very next panel?
Tumblr media
Those rioters sure do have some flames don't they. The theory we came up with was that the society would catch fire, and that Jekyll would have to choose between his experiments, and his life. (This might be a stretch but this also might be foreshadowing)
Tumblr media
We also theorized that Frankenstein and Jekyll would remake the potion but it wouldn't work. Jekyll wouldn't know why since they followed the instructions but Frankenstein would notice that something has an impurity (just like the book) and know how fix the potion. But at that point, the fire would start to burn down the society and they would be forced to leave.
Everything would literally and figuratively be crumbling around Jekyll.

Just realized something after looking at the cover art for some of tgs chapters. Every time you see Jekyll on a cover, he’s never without Hyde or without references to hyde
(Examples)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s really not any other places we see Jekyll without Hyde except when he’s with Lanyon
(Examples)
Tumblr media
(Not interacting with Hyde/ shown with him )
Tumblr media
IDK WHAT THIS MEANS AND ITS PROOOBABBLY NOTHING AND IM PROBABLY JUST IMAGING IT BUTTTT

I've been thinking about the newest update and I realized that it makes perfect sense why Frankenstein of all people would be the first to both see the transformation and know that Jekyll and Hyde are the same person. She's the first person to ever see the cracks in Jekyll's facade and is sort of what triggered them in the first place (as in she's the first person to ever see green-eyed Jekyll). Also, as far as we know, she is the only person that is completely aware of Jekyll's scientific research. Sure, other characters know that he's into science and that he's an alchemist, but if memory serves, Frankenstein is the only one that knows that Jekyll was specifically working on how to separate "good" and "evil" (and then dunked on him for not having concrete proof of this and for studying something so arbitrary but that's beside the point). I can imagine that after seeing that whole fiasco she started putting two and two together as to what the hell was going on. I mean, it's not like she hasn't seen that same shade of acid green eyes on someone else's face, nor heard even a passing description of what this "Mr. Hyde" looked like

Oh no. Too much fun. :(
Tumblr media
WELL THAT SURE WAS DESCRIPTIVE, RRRROBERT!!!!!
Tumblr media
Why does this feel so familiar!? OH WAIT-
Tumblr media
HMMMMMMMM………
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t know what happened, but it seems to me like Jekyll and Hyde are merging into one person again. Jekyll isn’t afraid to hide (ha- like Hyde, get it!? ….my comedy is wasted here) the repressed parts of himself anymore. Also these interactions are incredibly similar and I have a feeling that some angst and tension is about to occur.

Dropping my Bs from the comment Section Cause I can and apparently and a large majority of Tgs fans don't read the comments
Tumblr media
'What is Hyde? '
'An Experiment. A Mistake'
GOD THAT'S GOTTA HURT
I think Its interesting to note How jekyll perceives himself as the sanctimonious 'holier than thou, I'm the 'better' half therefore you are in-superior and insignificant' attitude towards Hyde. (I believe this was particularly personified after the transformation where the both embodied a more extreme version of Henry's subjective 'halves') Now all that's left for Hyde is feed into the persona that Jekyll has cultivated for him. He may as well be the wreck, abomination and 'evil' that he's repeatedly been told he is, he's lost everything, he has no reason or purpose anymore. So why not be the monster Jekyll fears he is? And ultimately Ruin both their lives.... Yeah Shits about to DOWN GOD THE UNDERLYING SUBTEXT OF ALL OF THIS HAS ME SCALING THE WALLS TOP TIER WRITING I SWEAR
anyways Im not okay how are yall holding up??

I am fully convinced that this is what the title of the chapter is referencing. Hyde can't get away, and he's being interrogated by Frankenstein, the only character who knows Jekyll and Hyde are the same person.
The dream theory also makes sense, since the only clear face that isn't Hyde's is partially obscured by glasses and is a character we know already exists in their head. Also the general creepiness of the shadowy figures resembling the lodgers and Frankie's leaning in with her head tilted. Though I have been consuming a lot of horror content the past couple months, so maybe it's not intended to be creepy, that's just how I'm taking it.

it's time to play my new favourite game: what did lanyon spot in the final panel of the new tgs page???
I've got three plausible theories:
lanyon saw the green science goop, which is a result of the transformation. this is probably the most likely of the theories, because we see the transformation starting during jekyll's one (1) panel, and as he's so close to the door, the goop might be leaking out from under it.
lanyon saw the papers frankenstein had on the ground, and read about the potion and the transformations; it warrants the amount of shock we see in his eyes, and I'm pretty sure it makes sense? it's plausible, but not as likely.
lanyon saw the transformation and/or hyde through the keyhole. this is the least likely of the theories, because the angle of his vision doesn't quite line up, as far as I can see, but it could also explain his shock, and to be perfectly honest I really want the reveal to come very soon.
I'm so excited for next monday already!!! definitely can't wait to see what's actually going to happen!
