its bugs me so much when horror media/content starts out with a really great concept and then runs it into the ground by inflating the lore and over explaining everything

#the most egregious example is stuff that originated as creepypasta #but its a big problem in horror in general #like girl one of the most major things horror explores is Fear of the Unknown #its supposed to be. Unknown.#it doesnt need an origin story it doesnt need to be a metaphor for trauma sometimes shits just scary and its better that way ok
