The only frustrating thing about giffing in VLC at this point is that there is literally no way to record the first three seconds of the video and that means that if I want something in the first three seconds I might as well just give up.

Current workout motivation is to bulk up so I can be a big chew toy for doms.

#trying to even out my muscles is the biggest pain in the ass #try to make my biceps even and now my forearms are uneven #try to fix that but with my fucked up shoulder I can’t flex the same muscles on both sides #and my hips must be unaligned or something because I cannot evenly distribute the weight on both sides #i only feel the burn on one side no matter how I move #rahhhhhhhh #most frustrating thing ever #its literally made me so mad that Ive just punched my arms over n over to try and get them to stop flexing 😭#does not work #feels kinda good tho ngl

the nature of being a johnny lawrence fan, is that it is often indistinguishable from being a johnny lawrence hater, and I don't think I have that with any other character. usually I'm very protective of my faves (including in cobra kai, daniel, sam, kreese, and tsilver), but johnny, I very much enjoy reading all the reasons people dislike his character, nodding along like "yeah what an inconsistent mess, you're so right, carmen pls u deserve better narrative to work with, terry silver was telling the truth when he mocked his fatherhood abilities, but alas the writing will never support it"

Thinking about how Kazuya and Jun could have forgotten what the other used to sound like in the duration of time they were separated.

Like twenty plus years is a REALLY long time, and it's possible to genuinely forget what the person's voice sounded like.

How they already lost each other, and as time keeps on passing by, they also had to slowly lose bits and pieces of memories they had of the other.

It's so gut-wrenching. They're so tragic.

Having ADHD but only having it just enough to get the like 2 symptoms left out of every conversation about ADHD fills me with an apathy that has no practical solution. Rolling up to the ADHD conversation like "Some days I can't focus and everything pisses me off and the best I can do is lay on the floor with music on and scowl at the ceiling until it stops because if I don't then I'll be mean to other people because I have no patience when I get like that" just makes everyone side-eye you because they immediately jump to the conclusion that you want to commit unspeakable acts of violence.

But a lot of people don't know that this is something people with ADHD can experience. The only time I ever see it mentioned is when I go out of my way to find research on it...

#textpost #I'm actually in a really good mood right now and had a really good day but I've been thinking about this for a while #Like I've been to a behavioral specialist this IS ADHD albeit a milder form of it but NO ONE ever talks about the Grumpy Threshold™️-#-in conversations about ADHD. It's always about how it makes people loud and easily excitable #Which are also symptoms of ADHD and I recognize that those symptoms are significantly more common than the main ones I experience #But it would be nice if there was more awareness about the cranky side of it lol #It doesn't make me physically violent or an absolute asshole it's just like being annoyed by everything cranked up to 11 #Turbo grumpy. Low heat simmering frustration #Wellbutrin's helped a lot and I've figured out most of the things that causes it so I can avoid them #(shrill sounds/voices and ASMR are two big ones. *Especially* ASMR)#But some days I wake up and my brain chooses anger and there's nothing I can do about it besides ride it out rofl #Anyway thank you for coming to my TED Talk I have to go to sleep now good night

I mean - none of my impressions #are ever going to land me an act in Vegas - but at least with the others I can kind of hide behind the fact that they're all very zany #voices. Graham's more normal and so it feels like I ought to be able to give a better impression of the music of Josh Keaton's speech #and in my head I do a slightly better job at it then when I hear it played back. But it's all for fun anyway - I just wish my voice #was magic.#But regardless of quality I had a ton of fun and am very thankful to my good pal Gerbil for letting me do this!#I mean I'm preaching to the very small choir here but this really is one of the best KQ fics online and it was a joy to narrate.#if there's any tech flaws please let me know - I should preview the whole thing before I post but I'm too chicken to listen to my voice for #long. ;-)
