a concept ive been working on for the switch up au is how to handle certain character interactions and what i can do with them...
but most of all its about what i can play around with... hehe
which is why ive come up with an outside force taking the crown of command from the monkey king and putting it on the wizard
#val.txt#ive seen some friends talk about how mk was a character that lacked... characterization i guess?#i never really minded him cus i was like haha dry humor sarcastic wit man#but this instance would force him to be like . well why am i here and what would compel me to stay#and that is to say . we dont really get any canon dialogue that says he wants to be there#i think hed be interested about the selflessness of the wizard but at the same time#would wonder how long until something would make them break under pressure#ive read up on it a bit now and this would have to predate a couple other interactions where the wiz and mk would chat#just to get to know the pirates crew#and discover the circumstances#we also know hes kind of a bitch so i have no clue whether or not this act of kindness would end up making him#...not BETTER per se but like. reconsider a few things#ofc everyone would be like well hes not gonna STAY and the wiz is like i would like. to give someone a choice for once#as someone who wasnt allowed choices or the opportunity to choose#IDK. maybe i should write this down in a story instead....#pirate fans let me know ur thoughts . correct me on some things#the outside force btw is my own ocs for this au . theyre mainly there to serve as roadblocks for both the mc wiz and pirate
