In conculsion: I find it really exceptional how putin, while single-handedly fighting in every battle on Ukrainian frontier and personally commiting every single war crime, has managed to find time to create hundreds of bot accounts and personally spam ukrainian game streams with hate speech and slurs; because obviously it couldn't be "simple russians", after all, every single russian is a pure innocent soul which by nature is not capable of evil (actual quote by pope francis), and, as westerners who don't know a single word in russian never tire of condenscendingly tell me, they would never, ever, ever go out of their way to harrass ukrainian gamedevs and totally would not brag about their army's attacks on our civillian sites, nonono #notallrussians

the only ''true crime'' youtuber i've been watching lately is the VODs and videos sneegsnag posts of his twitch streams. he watches various police interrogation-focused videos and gives commentary on them. he has a degree in criminal law, i think it's a bachelor's?

and the reason i love watching his stuff is because he's known for not being afraid to tell his twitch chat to cut something out, and that extends wonderfully to these streams. he CONSTANTLY is telling the chat to never talk to cops, makes fun of the cops in the videos constantly (by ''making fun'' i mean things like ''oh, of COURSE you didn't see that at the scene, mhm, yep, because cops are so good at their jobs'' and stuff like that)

and like. he had Multiple Times full on paused the video to ask some smartass in chat who's saying something pro-cop exactly what they mean and to tell them off because cops suck, or to berate the video-maker if they're being shitty. stuff like. in one video, where the narrator kept going on about how the person who committed the crime was autistic and had bpd, he just straight up paused the video and said ''this guy is full of shit, those things don't make people criminals, this is not just nonsense it's actively harmful to people'' etc.

and like. that's my major way of being exposed to true crime type stuff so it's amazing to hear people like. just miss the point So Badly.

you had me scared for a second there dsjfhgljsdfgdf i HATE watching interrogations so fucking much, i do not want to listen to cops psychologically manipulate people regardless of whether they are innocent or guilty of any crime in any capacity, but oh MAN the idea of someone actively critiquing that shit instead of trying to use their armchair psych degree on the suspect is. refreshing, to say the least.
