Is in EXTREME DENIAL that she likes girls and will honestly get offended if you insinuate that she does (internalized homophobia to the nth degree). It's because of her conservative upbringing that Emma had a fling with Jacob over the summer... to prove to herself that she was "normal" and that she wanted to be with the type of partner society wanted her to be with

Unfortunately, it's not just her own sexuality that Emma dislikes. She definitely would have said a few unkind things about Dylan's homosexuality, Ryan's + Kaitlyn's asexuality, and even Jacob's bisexuality behind their backs, maybe even going as far as to make fun of them (especially Jacob, since she wants him to be more traditionally masculine)

(if Emma ever got over her internalized hatred) She would prefer a more femme girlfriend (Abi), a girlfriend that is passionate about something (Abi), a girlfriend who contrasts her outgoing personality with something more subdued (Abi), and a girlfriend who could be her best friend through thick and thin (ABI)

If it isn't obvious enough, Emma has the biggest crush on Abigail. Of course, she doesn't recognize this as a crush at first; She sees it more as a person she trusts and loves unconditionally, someone who she can be herself around, someone who makes her feel like a real human being... Ah shit... 😳

As Emma gets older (assuming she survived Hackett's Quarry), she'd become much more accepting of herself and others (trauma made her realize that judging others is a huge waste of breath). I'd like to imagine that Emma would end up with Abi, healing together as they picked up the pieces of their lives and tried to move on from what happened.

If Emma had to pick a song to describe her sexuality, she'd pick: You Stupid Bitch by girl in red.

The literal DEFINITION of a golden retriever boyfriend! 🐶 Jacob ADORES his partner! You ask Jacob to do anything and he will do it for you, no questions asked! Well, except for if he's confused by something (for example... Asking what specific brand of chips you want? Or what type of hygiene products you prefer?) and then he'll ask for clarification! The last thing he wants to do is piss his partner off, even by accident 😅 He's had some negative experiences in the past with previous partners (*cough, cough* Emma) that has made him a little paranoid that if he screws up, then his current partner will try to leave him. It's one of the reasons (on top of being naturally lovey dovey) that Jacob tries to keep his partner as happy as possible.

As our favorite resident himbo, sometimes things go over his head, but one thing is always for sure: He will always try to get a laugh out of his partner! Even if it's at his own expense, hearing the sound of his partner giggle makes him feel super happy. The jokes or the mistakes aren't that serious anyways, so it's good to just let it roll of his shoulders. Jacob is a people pleaser through and through. As long as someone is smiling when they go to bed, Jacob considers the day to be a success 😌

Even though Jacob can't cook for shit (except toast), he will attempt to spoil his partner with breakfast in bed. Though this usually ends in either a food fight (that Jacob starts ofc) or them getting takeout at Taco Bell. Either way, it's a silly tradition that makes Jacob feel connected and wanted by his partner.

Physical touch is Jacob's main love language. While watching TV, it is not uncommon for Jacob to either have his partner sit in between his legs or to sit in between his partner's legs. Either way, someone is getting cuddled! Having another person's presence around him makes him feel safe and content, like there's a support system to help him get through the day if he needs it. While out in public, Jacob will always hold his partner's hand (if they want to) and will even do that skip walk from The Wizard of Oz to keep them both entertained. Shopping is much more fun with his partner's hand in his.

When Jacob is in love, he falls totally and completely. Sometimes it's hard for him to read the emotions of other people because his own emotions are so powerful. Jacob is not one of those guys that tries to hide the way that he feels; If he's hurting or ecstatic, he will let you know. As such, separating what he wants versus what his partner wants can be difficult at times. It's never crossed a serious line before (such as consent or the like), but it has caused some problems for Jacob in past relationships.
