need to remember that my preferred grocery store opens late on long weekend Sundays for some godforsaken reason. had to go to the more expensive store across the street (bc I was not driving 20 mins, thank you), and I didn't break my budget bc I didn't need a whole lot today, but was very much haunted by the unpleasant feeling of getting screwed over the whole time I was there.

#idk why! like i get opening late on the holiday but sunday?? they're equally busy on long weekend sundays as any other sunday #the slightly more expensive store is kinda nostalgic for me bc my parents always shop there #so it's weird going in there. like aw childhood memories :) but also ow ow ow ow why are avocados $2.50 each why is cream a dollar more here #they've had some mix-ups with their store brand recently too so they don't have a whole lot of off brand stuff #it was like a union dispute and Only my city wouldn't agree to something so they like. parted ways and became their own very similar brand #or some shit???? it was weird #anyway i have to go to my usual store before going to the parents place for dinner so i can get my usual store brand CHEAPER allergy meds #$28??? not today bitch
