going kind of insane about how the show prop department rendered the writing and text of the Seven Pointed Star. what did they mean by this..............................

the writing department was fucked in the head and the costume department was constantly screaming for a chance to show off but i'll always hail to the prop department those guys are insane i love everyone in every prop department ever

anyway those glyphs on the side of the page and the way the font is rendered....... theres something here to analyse but i'm not sure. im gonna call in @vaegonthebased for his language nerd expertise

Behold, Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide (2014).

Lo, the early evidence of our ship on a page dedicated to Sabine Wren and her brightly colored designs (which includes her colorful hair and armor).

Note that Sabine thinks of Zeb as a brother, not Ezra. In the first season of Rebels, Sabine was aware of Ezra’s crush on her, but she deliberately chose to ignore his awkward attraction to her. Could it be his lack of maturity? Clearly, she knew that he did not think of her as a sister. 😏

This volume is based on season 1 of Rebels, and it describes Ezra as “almost 15” and gives Sabine’s age as 16 years old. They both had a lot of growing up to do before an “awkward attraction” could grow into something more.

Ezra is described as a “lone wolf.” Do you know who else described himself as being at least part wolf?

It is no secret that Luke Skywalker is George Lucas’s alter-ego in the Star Wars universe.

The real question is, does the hero get the girl this time?

At the request of people liking my post, this is a visual guide to the couples in my core canon, which is my personal set up for solo fic writing. Most of these are set in stone, but some of them are planned with a "we'll see what happens when I get there" attitude. I'll separate my oc x npc and my oc x my oc. Star Wars Writing Resources provided by @nimata-beroya and this post has SO MUCH to offer if you are writing in the Star Wars universe! There are galaxy maps, calendars, holidays, date converters, media chronology (movie/game/tv show order), hyperspace travel times, several name generators, reference guides to the Jedi Order, infomration on the Clones and Mandalorians, lore, health and medicine and technology, food and drinks, languages, etc! There's a lot here!

Disabilities Exist in Star Wars by @calltomuster this is a good look into the disabilities and the culture around them in the Star Wars universe. A very helpful read with some additional sources listed!

Comprehensive Lexacon Guide for First Time SW Fic Readers by @lightasthesun Wow. What a mouthful! I cannot tell you guys how much I use this one. It's not a clock, it's a chronometer. It's not coffee, it's caf. It's not a bathroom, it's a refresher. Like I said, super helpful.

Star Wars OC visual development drawings- from order 66 to when we see Maul again in Rebels is a fifteen year gap. Given that Maul is desperate for connection but doesn't know how to relate to people other than as master+apprentice, I think it's incredibly unlikely that he never tried to take another apprentice during those years.

The Apprentice in question was nine years old during the Jedi purge and escaped by crawling into a ventilation duct. Maul was guided by visions to seek her out, misinterpreting what saw as proof that Ahsoka was alive. Instead, he found Charnel half dead in the gutter. Charnel is not the most brave, athletic or force-attuned, and frankly would not have successfully become a knight if order 66 hadn't happened. However, she's the only force sensitive Maul's been able to find, so he's got no other choice.

Dear Sabezraites,

Today the Prophet of the Church of Ezrabine has obtained another of the sacred texts. I am referring to the Star Wars Rebels Visual Guide: Epic Battles.

Although the book’s main focus is on the many battles from the first two seasons of Rebels, the book does reveal important information about Ezra Bridger’s relationships with his fellow Ghost crew members.

For example, Hera Syndulla is a maternal figure in his life.

But, you may be wondering, are the heretics correct in their interpretation of Ezra’s relationship with Sabine as being sibling-like? Nay, I say unto you!

Is she his teammate? Yea. Is she his reliable partner in battle? Yea. Is she his friend? Well, let’s ask Sabine. “Sabine, did you say that Ezra is your dear friend?”

I digress. There’s no mention of anything sisterly or sibling-like here.

In addition, Ezra and Sabine have this glorious two-page spread devoted to their relationship:

It chronicles Ezra’s attempts to impress the girl he fancies and his jealousy of anyone who catches her attention. It describes Sabine’s perception of Ezra evolving from that of an annoying kid or little brother to someone she admires and really cares about. They have a strong partnership and devoted friendship developing at this point in their lives which could lead to something more when they are older.

Also, since we now know that Sabine’s Loth-cat Murley reminds her of Ezra, here are some interesting Loth-cat facts:
