RED WHITE AND BLUE PARTY

To celebrate your first night at Fire Island we’re throwing a red white and blue party! Hang out on the beach with a big bonfire, good tunes, drinks and some marshmallows to roast! Stick around for a firework show, before slinking back to your tent - maybe even bring someone with you.

Escape the city life for the weekend! Unplug, unwind, get away from the city noise and see the night stars! Party details coming soon. Tents are not assigned, there is plenty for them (more than pictured). Just pick one you like before joining your friends out in the water or in a game of beach volleyball!

Drive or train out to Bay Shore > Catch a ferry over to Ocean Bean, Fire Island > Head over to your glamping sight > Go swimming!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

July 4th is the day America achieved Independence from England and celebrated throughout the country. Of course, New York knows how to throw a party! No matter where in the city you are tonight you’ll be able to witness Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks! Over 60,000 pyrotechnics will go off at 9:25pm on the east river. The show will go for a full 25 minutes with music tracks from the West Point band and Glee Club. If you’re looking for the best views try a roof top terrace - much like the one found at the 8th avenue apartment! If you’re looking to stay indoors you can catch a two hour NBC show that will broadcast performers and the fireworks without leaving the comfort of your couch!

Bonus: there will be a mini-travel + chatroom party event this weekend. Details to come.

Songwriter/Producer Preston Burke just turned 24 and his coworkers at Atlantic Records are throwing him a belated birthday celebration! Dress up in some formal wear and come on down to Vista Penthouse Ballroom and Sky Lounge for a night of drinks, music, and a whole lot of fun! The event will also include a chocolate fountain, a photo booth, and a DJ. Also, the label has a little surprise for the birthday boy. Don’t tell him!

Ever heard of the singer Raven? Well she’s having a party and you’re invited. But here’s the thing, the location is a secret! Whilst radio channels give off clues throughout the night to fans and local clubbers the members of TAP are getting exclusive details! So listen carefully...

Go to the corner of 23rd and 6th. Walk into the deli and head to the back of the deli. Locate the metal fridge door with a pink X on it. When open it will reveal stairs, take them!

Dress code is bright clothes, and a lot of skin! Be prepared to paint your skin with black-light paint and get a little messy. Don’t be afraid to go a little crazy with your look! Wigs, platform shoes, etc!

Members of TAP will have access to the VIP lounge which overlooks the dance floor where fans and friends with mix together listening to the best DJs and hottest music right now.  Drinks will flow freely, be sure to try the glow-in-the-dark drink.

Each member of TAP will receive a copy of this booklet. It includes details on the destination, what to pack, transport details, and arrival details. Another package will follow with accommodation details, activities, etc later in the week or upon arrival.

Note: Flights leave NYC the night of Saturday April 1st, guests arrive in St Lucia early Sunday April 2nd.

SNOWPOCALYPSE

MARCH 15 - 21: DASHBOARD EVENT

A blizzard is coming! Ever wonder what it was like to live in the ice age? Well you’re about to experience the closest thing to it! Snow will cover the streets and fall heavily starting Wednesday the 15th and clear up by Tuesday the 21st. We will be reporting here every day of the event, so be sure to check in with us!

So what do you need to do? Keep an eye out for for daily weather alerts (posted at 6am EST) and building updates (posted at 8am EST) to stay in the loop on what is happening around the city and close to home! During the weekend your muses will be essentially be trapped in their apartment buildings from time to time, so be sure to plan accordingly to the weather updates; keep things realistic. Enjoy your snow days and stay warm!

Set on the roof terrace. Above the restaurant/pool/bar. Can interact between both areas because it is quite easy to move between the two floors. Food and alcohol can be consumed in both areas. Lounge chairs/daybeds located on top floor, more formal seating in the restaurant.

All buildings return to normal.

Everything has returned to normal, buildings have gotten their power back, the roads are clear and rock salt has been spread all around to help with the melting of the snow. School will start back up tomorrow and calls will be made to those who have reschedule appointments. People may safely return to work and proceed to go about their normal day.

BUILDING UPDATE: MONDAY - MARCH 20

Things are finally clearing up!

3RD AVE: Street cleared at 7am, leaving the building open for tenants to leave as they wish. Internet remains down all day. Gym reopens.

5TH AVE: No problems reported. Spa reopens, stay clear of the pool though. 

8TH AVE: Power turns on and off throughout the day whilst emergency services repair lines further down the street. Roof terrace remains closed.

MONDAY - MARCH 20

We have received the last of the snow. Temperatures are between 20-36 degrees Fahrenheit. Power lines have been restored and power is returning to all places shortly. Snow plows are hard at work, getting to all the places that they haven’t gone yet. The state of emergency has been lifted and people are able to drive, but are cautioned to drive carefully. Branches in parks are being disposed of and will soon be open for children again. Schools will start back up on Wednesday. Stores have re-opened and ready for business.
