How did Cross got to know Dream in Stalker Au ? :3

Cross never really got to 'know' Dream 👀

Cross lacks any sort of ambition in life, at his father's request he finds himself taking several college classes, one of them alongside a certain golden eyed skeleton 😏

Cross is instantly fascinated by Dream's bubbly personality, he builds Dream's image so high in his head he flounders trying to even catch his eye much less speak to him.

To Dream, Cross was a hooded stranger in class, never showing his face, and never being more than a couple seats away.

Meanwhile, Cross desperately tries to learn everything he can about Dream, all the while berating himself, telling himself how creepy he's acting. That he should just go up to Dream and talk to him.

Instead, he slowly learns and signs up for every single class Dream is currently taking, just so he can see him more often. Dream doesn't notice. He also doesn't notice when a shadow starts following him to his work, and eventually home.

Cross worries constantly about how soft Dream is, and worries more when he realizes that he sometimes walks home in the dark. So, while mentally yelling at himself for being a creep, he follows Dream like his loyal little guard. He imagines himself as Dream's protector, his knight in shining armor, all the while Dream has no idea.

Much more experienced, Killer quickly takes notice of Cross and is incredibly pissed until he realizes Cross's affections aren't for Nightmare but for Dream. After that, he decides he can make Cross worse and takes him under his wing >:3c
