Bellara mourning companions fallen in the final battle

It's been hard. Keeping going, I mean. With everything that's happened so far… So many friends. People we'll never see again. Never talk to again. Davrin. I'll never get to pretend to like his carvings again. Neve's gone. My best friend, and the big sister I didn't deserve. Professor Emmrich… I mean, Emmrich. I always meant to stop doing that. And everyone else… we need to make their deaths mean something. Let them live forever through the people they saved.
