La potente banda de black metal de 🇵🇹 @gaerea_ se presentó en Buenos Aires por primera vez todo en el marco de su gira latinoamericana, la banda logro presentar un enorme show haciendo alucinar a todo el público presenté. Cercano a la media noche y luego de una espera que logró impacientar a muchos de los presentes irrumpieron en escena los Portugueses #Gaerea si la brutal banda lusitana se estrenaba en tierras gauchas y de que forma. Desde el inicio observar los rostros tapados con las capuchas identificativas de la banda con su logo al frente ya era algo subrreal sobre todo tomando en cuenta que vinieran tan rápido a Sudamérica en su nobel carrera como banda era una oportunidad única para ver semejante talento de banda que quizás tardemos años en volver a ver por estos lados. Ya sonaba "Deluge" y seguían salvajes temas como "Salve" y "Null" para más tarde detonar el escenario con "Absent" su vocalista logro entablar de manera instantánea una conexión con el público presente sobre todo el que estaba en primera fila ya que muchas veces su perfomance se realizaba en esa parte del escenario, lanzándose en varias ocasiones hacia los presentes y arrodillandose muchas veces un verdadero show Man que representaba muy bien el mensaje de la banda y toda esa irá y frustración que puedes tener dentro y que la puedes dejar fluir con Gaerea siendo un verdadero medio de desahogo. Aptitud hardcore sobre escena pero seriedad black en su música, suena contradictorio pero era una de las maneras de lograr catalogar a una banda que considero fuera de lote con vida propia y estilo único, de igual forma lograba hacer una amalgama de varios estilos en cada uno de sus temas. Momento más brutal del evento la reconocida pieza "Conspiranoia" ejecutada a un nivel increíble, guitarras y bajos increíbles, así como una batería machacante, presentación de 10. The Other Place, COMING SOON

The Other Place is a show about two remarkable, tenacious women who braved the world of theatre in Australia. It is a work that demonstrates that even in the face of adversity, the bonds of women will shine through. The play highlights the historical power imbalances that women face in the industry, and how these are still perpetuated today.

Drawing on historical events, fiction and non-fiction, the dialogue of the play melts together to create a magical realism that showcases the brilliance of women in theatre.

“It’s a play about history, but not as you’d expect it. It’s about imbalances in theatre and in the world, but it’s also about a time when theatre was so affecting, and people were so passionate, that they would literally riot in the streets because of it”

– Christopher Bryant, playwright of The Other Place

While the work draws on reality, the play centres around the imagined meeting of two great minds. The work follows Betty Burstall and her efforts which would result in Melbourne’s iconic La Mama Theatre, and Buzz Goodbody, the trailblazing founder of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Queer writer Christopher Bryant wanted to pay homage to the women in his life who have supported him through this work. In their own words, “as humans, I believe nobody is free while some of us experience disadvantage.”

The Other Place will bring together an ensemble of female identifying creatives to bring the lived existence of women in theatre to the stage.

Los rostros cubiertos al unísono y cuatro entes que tomaban posesión de las tablas de este reconocido local, irrumpió en escena la maquinaria de black metal de Berazategui @demiurgo.official la misma sin mediar palabras iniciaban el ritual esa noche del 25 de Noviembre, donde les toco la tarea de dar la apertura del show de todas las bandas locales que eran soporte de (#Gaerea + #Warhammer) Fede a cargo de la guitarra y voces así como Mati a cargo de la guitarra y coros, sumados a lean en la batería y Gonzalo en el bajo encarnan a Demiurgo y de qué manera. Deleitaron al público con el repaso de su disco "Dark Feeling" vomitando tema tras tema, tal cual máquina de generar materia oscura en este caso black metal. Himnos como "Anti Cosmic War" "Revolution of Satán" hacían que el público vibrará y quedará atónito por el sonido expedido desde las tablas del local de Almagro, luego soltaban "Primordial Chaos" "Frater Nemidial" y más tarde liberarían la feroz "Wandering in the Dark" así como la impactante "Dark Feeling" entre otros. A pesar de dos problemas técnicos de sonido del local los cuales fueron solventados rápidamente por la producción del evento, la banda brindo un excelente y brutal show y demostró que cada vez está llevando más allá su música y está haciendo crecer una propuesta bastante novedosa en la escena nacional. Luego de 30 minutos son dejar respiro de por medio y de una formidable forma la banda terminaría su show y dejaría satisfecho a todo su público esa noche.
