With allied troops having withdrawn they can’t be permanently kept out of the city. This post is NOT about politics, it’s about saving animals that will be caught up in this. This situation puts everyone there at risk, including animal rescues. @nowzad is based in Kabul and is run by @penfarthing , a former @royalmarines . They are trying to evacuated 98 dogs, 88 cats and 25 staff on a specially chartered cargo plane to the U.K called ‘Operation Ark’. They need to raise $200,000 within the next couple of days for the flight and to support costs on arrival. We urge you to donate if you can at the link in our bio.
