I'll commandeer a ship this is what pirates do, Then I'll search for treasure and mermaids in the blue. As a pirate captain I'll have a scurvy crew, They may be scallywags but this fact is true, They'll do as I say because they fear my sword, And if they do not mutiny they'll have their reward. Of gold doubloons, sparkling jewels, pearls, and kingly crowns, They can have all the treasure once it has been found. Because I do not treasure jewels or doubloons of gold, The treasure for me is a life lived at sea as a pirate brash and bold. I know it is time to make my pirate dream come true, To live life outside the rules as all pirates do.
