Head's up: This post is an ode to Arthur Weasley and Ron and Harry's friendship.

Ron really said I'm gonna make you part of my family you like it or not. He wrote at least TWELVE TIMES. THE COMMITMENT. Also, Harry's sass is on point.

So the twins and Ron know how to pick open a lock, which leads me to believe that all the Weasley siblings can, but most importantly, they talk about knowing muggle tricks. My natural and totally logical conclusion? Arthur Weasley taught them. I SAID IT.

Oh really? And yet I recall not a chapter ago you saying even news from Malfoy was better than nothing. Huh.

Percy is a cool nerd and the king of time management. He already has a girlfriend before any of his siblings (in school, Charlie is ace in my heart and Bill is too hot and independent to be single and not ready to mingle), and no one in his family suspects a thing.

HAHAHHA ARTHUR PLEASE!

Molly fattening Harry is one of my favorite canon dynamics. I always love to read it in fanfics and add it to what I write.

Not ONE girl has been called very good-looking yet (I think?). Harry "bi-who-lived" Potter my beloved. Also, I am forever mad at the fact that the movies never gave us HOT Lockhart. We were robbed! They also never gave us hot twink Firenze so what was I expecting (see thereaderarchive reads PS part 9).

Clearly, the ones that made the movies read only this about Ginny because she always had a personality.

Let's start with the first chapter bc there is a lot of important info that I forgot, probably bc Chamber of Secrets is my least favourite.

Ah yes, The boy who lived to sass.

If the Dursleys allowed him to talk about Hogwarts, Harry would totally be talking non-stop about how annoying Draco is, at least as much as Draco talks about Harry to his dad. YOU CAN'T FOOL ME.

Hello, Dobby! 1) I know the idea of Draco speaking non-stop about Harry it's a great explanation, but I think Dobby had two sources: Draco and Lucius. Of course, neither of them would talk about how "good" Harry is.

2) Now, Lucius and Draco's reasons are different. Draco talks about his schoolnemesis because he was raised believing HE was special, and then he stepped outside his manor and realized the world doesn't revolve around him. Lucius, however, is an adult and Voldemort's servant. Harry not being an almost-myth figure now means he can't simply ignore his past as a Death Eater; he can't express his own opinions so openly because THE Harry Potter is alive and well, but also, as we will know eventually, bc Arthur Weasley is trying to pass some muggle protection laws, so I think Dobby must have heard about that, too, meaning Lucius plans to sabotage him with the diary, not knowing what it really is. But I'll talk about this later.

I don't think we talk enough about how tragic Hagrid's story is, or how wizards and witches don't get proper education before Hogwarts. I mean, it is repeated many times (as something comical) how Hagrid can't write well. Is it because he is half-giant and there are no proper educational system for "non-humans"? is it because of lack of money? I don't know about how rich or aristocratic people used to get education before in Europe, so maybe private tutors for some?

CW: Now the terrible part of the Dursleys abusive behaviour towards Harry begins:

I was under the impression they weren't physically abusive (besides the lack of food), but apparently that wasn't the case. I was horrified by the idea of Petunia trying to smack him with A FRYING PAN, WTF?!!! Not even Voldemort, dude. They ofc didn't feed him (TWO SLICES OF BREAD??!) but Harry, our sweet little Harry, shared his food with Hedwig nonetheless :( He's so sweet. And sassy, Hagrid really got him the perfect pet for him. Ofc Hedwig would sacrifice herself for him; he's the sweetest boy. I'm not crying, it's raining inside.
