More crossover Headcanons..but no drawings this time, only doodles.

✵Timmy talks to animals like they understand him. He’ll full-on negotiate with a lizard about who gets to stay on the rock first.

✵Eric names all of his research equipment. His microscope? Sir Lenses-a-Lot. His favorite notebook? Captain Scribbles.

✵Sera pretends he’s not a cuddler, but if he falls asleep near someone, he will accidentally lean against them. If they call him out, he’ll deny it to the grave. It's happened with Zef many times and he's just gotten used to it but still occasionally teases Sera about it.

✵headcanon Nathan and Ray are distant cousins lowkey, they went to middle school together and Nathan was that one cousin you always looked up to but he ended up moving away. not sure why I have that HC—it's just a vibe.

✵speaking of school, HC Ray and Mercury were classmates at one point. Again, just a vibe.

✵Mercury and Naveed would either get along or absolutely hate each other /lh

✵also feel like Ray and Orin wouldn't get along much?? Smt smt one views love highly and the other kinda doesn't.

✵Eric once caught a fish, stared at it for a solid minute, and then *apologized* before setting it free. Clemmy watched the whole thing and still makes fun of him for it.

✵Sera pretends he’s not competitive, but if he loses at something, he’ll just say “Best two out of three”… and then three out of five… and then five out of seven.

✵Zef does dramatic hair flips even when his hair isn’t wet—it’s just instinct at this point.

✵Timmy has a favorite rock that he literally talks to. It’s “his best friend,” and he’s definitely not embarrassed by it.

✵Sky is surprisingly really good at cooking, but he refuses to admit it. Whenever he does cook, it’s either by accident (because he was bored and tried something random) or he’s convinced it’s "no big deal." Still, everyone agrees his food is amazing.

✵Mercury, surprisingly, loves animals and will spend hours talking to stray cats and dogs. The others have often caught him whispering to a pigeon as if it were his "long-lost friend." It was extremely entertaining.

✵Konrad is really good at drawing, but only when he’s in a good mood. If he’s having a bad day, he’ll just scribble random lines on the page and call it "art."

✵Nathan spends hours looking at bugs through magnifying glasses. Sometimes, he’ll just lay on the ground, mesmerized by their movements. He’s constantly getting new ones in glass jars, and his room is a mini insect museum.

✵Nathan also sometimes talks to himself when he’s trying to remember something. He’ll casually have conversations with his own limbs to calm down, which is wildly unsettling but also hilarious to watch.

✵Naveed loves to tinker with anything he can get his hands on, and half the time, the "projects" he works on end up exploding. But it’s fine. He just goes back to the drawing board and pretends it didn’t happen.

✵Timmy keeps a "rock journal" where he writes down the cool rocks he finds and all the random facts he learns about them. It’s surprisingly organized ??

✵Mercury collects trinkets from every job he does—some of them are totally useless, but to him, they’re reminders of his "glorious" criminal past. He has a weird collection of stolen jewelry that he never sold, just kept in a dusty box

✵Ray has a bad habit of hoarding random things. Old tickets, broken watches, and receipts are all buried in his pockets.

✵Konrad sometimes goes to the woods to "talk to the trees." He claims it helps him think and calm his anxiety

✵Nathan loves the idea of "getting his life together," so he keeps making new to-do lists every week. Half of the items are just "take a shower" or "don’t fall apart," but he swears they help him feel like he's doing something productive.

✵Despite being really creepy and intimidating, Cruez actually has a ton of rules about personal space. If someone gets too close for comfort, he’ll hiss at them. It’s a weird way of asserting boundaries, but it’s something no one expects from him.

Diluc be crushing

Summary: reader is Diona’s older sister and also the crush of Diluc Ragvindr who is not just the prime bachelor of Mondstadt but also the prime heating pad for Mondstadt’s cats. Diona is angy about it thou

Diluc didn’t know what to do. He’d been trying to court his crush for a while but strangely enough Diona seemed to be interfering. If he left flowers she’d destroy them. He wondered if chocolates were even a good idea. Eventually he settled on meeting them himself. Something Diona was also not happy with.

Fortunately his crush was pretty friendly. They even asked if he’d like a room to himself as the cats seemed to swarm him. As they put it “with his vision he’s essentially a walking heating pad so many cats will prefer him.” He took their offer and asked if they’d like to play some TCG, something he didn’t indulge in too much but decided it was appropriate to do so. They accepted and they ended up talking for awhile. Diona kept trying to interrupt however but his beloved simply locked the doors and reminded Diona she had a job to do. Aftersome time Diluc sat on the couch so he could properly cuddle with the kitties. His beloved said she’d bring some snacks. But oh the gentle purr of the kitties, the comfy couch… the soft furrs. It was so comfortable. He hadn’t slept well either… surely a little nap couldn’t hurt…

Coming back to the room they were surprised to see him asleep. They poked him a bit until confirming he was. They were about to leave when they realized the cats now eating, had left him alone. Their cat instincts couldn’t help but wonder if he was warm too… they curiously pressed themselves against him to find indeed.. he was warm.. and cozy.. no wonder the cats loved him. Warm like the sunlight on a patch of grass. In his sleep he ended up wrapping his arms around them and oh! That was nice. His arms were so strong, and warm too… it felt so safe in his hold, you couldn’t help but purr slightly. A very quiet purr as you leaned against him, getting comfortable in his lap as you ended up falling asleep.

When Diluc awoke he was shocked to find you cuddled against him, purring too.. as well as a bit worried he wouldn’t make it to his other arrangements today… but that’s a small price to pay considering how utterly adorable his beloved looks like this.

When Dream said "I'm not gay" I see some people saying "well him not being gay doesnt mean he isnt queer" and i think you are interpreting this too literally. dream just posted a meme with a slur bc he thought he could "reclaim" it for having autism. I don't think hes thinking that hard about his language and what it means. When he says he's not gay hes not saying he has a different queer identity hes saying hes not queer.

Here’s some silly Sonic the Hedgehog headcanons of mine, some I take more seriously than others

1. Big the Cat is from the Sol Dimension. Look, I know sonic team/sega likes their cats purple (looks at Blaze and Duo) but I mean he has no backstory, has a knack for just appearing, and his tail and coloring is similar to Blaze’s. Of course, that could just be art style but come on. No known origin, looks similar to another well known cat, and has appeared in Sonic Channel art set in the Sol Dimension. Blaze has his picture above her desk for crying out loud. He could easily be her big brother who either ran away from his duties to destress or some accident caused him to cross dimensions and he’s forgotten who he is so he just goes by Big the Cat and fishes all day long (why Blaze hasn’t claimed her brother if that’s the case? He’s happy, let him be)

2. The Black Comet is actually Black Doom’s reproductive system. He has no legs, we don’t know where his torso ends under those rags of his, and his true form Devil Doom just so happens to be conjoined to the comet? Also, the inside of the comet is more like that of an organic being than that of a hollowed out rock. That plus the fact he needed an intelligent being he could control go to earth and collect the chaos emeralds for him so he could chaos control himself and the comet in order to properly invade earth??? He couldn’t do that in thousands of years with who knows how many 50 year intervals (the comet passes earth every fifty years)??? Sounds to me like he didn’t want his precious ovaries/gonads/whatever he’s packing getting burnt up in the atmosphere and preventing him from making more death leeches

3. Chaos and Tikal are boyfriend and girlfriend and Knuckles is their child that the master emerald spat out in order to not get crowded. This is a joke but please don’t let me take it seriously or else that will become his backstory in one of my AUs

WIP Wednesday (MLC Mind Control Bug Fic Edition)

Happy Wednesday! Have some of a new MLC fic I just started working on!

I realized I had very strong feelings about amnesia in fics (as someone who has experienced it before), and so a new MLC one-shot fic was born, in which amnesiac a-Fei discovers the mind control bug in his neck his first night in Lotus Tower. (This part takes place after his failed attempts to get it out.)

To anyone who is missing my MLC longfic excerpts, the plan is to continue with them next week! (I'm hoping to get this one up on AO3 by the end of the weekend!)

A-Fei’s head swam a little with each step, but the pain had mostly subsided to a dull, manageable thud in time with his pulse. He was distantly tempted to pull himself free from Li Lianhua’s hands and walk unaided back to Lotus Tower, gathering enough energy to collapse only once he had reached his bed upstairs. But Li Lianhua gripped his arm more tightly the first time he even felt like he might be about to wobble, and yanked it over his shoulder until he was using Li Lianhua like half a crutch. And suddenly, not touching Li Lianhua seemed unacceptable.

“What were you thinking?” Li Lianhua muttered again, wrapping his other arm around a-Fei’s back and resting his hand on his waist. “You probably reopened your stab wound, collapsing like that. I really should be charging you for this, you know. You’re getting my professional expertise for free.” His grip tightened on a-Fei’s waist too close to the stab wound, sending ripples of angry fire coursing up his torso. 

A-Fei hissed out a pained breath. “It’s worth exactly what I’m paying for it.”

Li Lianhua pulled his hand away from the injured waist like he’d been burned. “Don’t be ridiculous,” he said, putting his hand much higher up this time, closer to a-Fei’s ribcage. “I was just checking to see if you’re bleeding through the bandages. It’s a necessary part of the process.”

“Hmm,” a-Fei hummed, taking several more steps and relishing the sensation of the man’s hand against his side. His fingers were cold but the touch warmed him nonetheless. “And am I?” 

“Are you what?”

“Bleeding through the bandages?”

“I didn’t finish checking. You’re too terrible a patient,” Li Lianhua said, squeezing a-Fei’s forearm in what seemed like an apology. “I’ll have to examine it more inside.”  

“I see,” a-Fei said, taking another step, his mind still turning over the grip on his arm. Had they touched often? The idea of anyone else touching him made him want to unsheathe his dao, but with Li Lianhua, he would almost rather chance one of his bai hui’s acupoint’s lightening bolts of pain than step away. And as much as he disliked the idea of needing his wound examined, it would give him the opportunity to examine Li Lianhua. And to continue observing his own reactions to the man’s hands. “And what exactly does this examination entail?” he teased. “Based on your earlier example, I assume pinching or punching the wound? Or stabbing it again to check the durability of the healing skin?”

Li Lianhua snorted. “Only if you keep insulting my competence.” Then he paused, mid-step, his grip on a-Fei loosening. “Ah. I’m just going to look at the plaster. If blood has soaked through it, I’ll pour hemostatic powder on the wound first and then put a new plaster on. You’ll just need to untie your robes, but they can stay on. I’ll be quick.”

Huh. Unexpected. He had been joking, but actual information about what to expect didn’t hurt. Although something about the way he mentioned robes was strange. Almost as though Li Lianhua was uncomfortable about it. There was no reason for that to be an awkward request from someone providing medical treatment–

Unless they had been in a relationship, or at least had prior sexual history together.

It would certainly explain his response to Li Lianhua’s hands touching him. 

He’d have to investigate more to be sure, since asking would be sure to prompt more lies.

there are poop and vomit Botbots, meat and plant Botbots, and an anthill Botbot with living ants inside her. so clearly there's no restriction on what kind of matter, living or dead, can be affected. i actually personally think it's more about size. so.... a mouse corpse, i guess? perhaps a Cybertronian corpse that already has an affinity for energon might be revived, considering they're good at not staying dead anyway
