I wore my tail out to the forest yesterday. It felt kind of good wearing it. Even in a judgmental town I can still find places to be myself.

It's been a while since I've drawn these two :3 Christian was cold and found the nearest warm big thing, which happens to be Ryan. He's quite pleased with himself. I think I'll ruin this if I try and finish it so I'll leave it as a sketch :)

Therian Gear and Where to get it

I recommend Etsy for authentic tails. Although, you should do some research on the place the tail came from and make sure it's livestock. If it's sketchy or suspiciously cheap, I would look for a different tail. If you don't have Etsy, you can pay as a guest.

I also recommend padded gloves for quadrobics, so your hands don't hurt. You can get these at sports stores, there's actually a lot of places that sell them. But don't buy them online, because it's hard to determine the size of them.

I don't exactly recommend collars, though. Collars are usually uncomfortable, and also, I think only domestic therians should wear them, as I don't think a wild wolf would have a collar? So like, house cats, dogs, just any domestic animals if you want to wear a collar. Again, if you do want a collar, you can buy them on Etsy, eBay and Amazon, you can buy them at local pet stores and online pet stores.

I am seeing an increase in individuals looking for wolf tails. This is a reminder that wolves are still considered "at risk" or endangered and protected in many states. Some subspecies of grey wolf are illegal to kill such as red wolves and Mexican wolves. It is illegal to posses wolf parts in some states. Each state will have different laws, and it is your responsibility to know those laws. Most sellers will be able to tell you if they can sell and ship to you, but they are not the ones responsible for knowing the laws in your state or province of residence. I live in Ontario, Canada. While wolves can be hunted here and in most of Canada, special licenses are required for anyone in Ontario to possess a wolf pelt or wolf parts. "Register for a Notice of Possession — which allows you keep a pelt for personal use — if you: received it as a gift, bought it, brought it to Ontario, found a carcass, acquired it in protection of property" https://www.ontario.ca/page/keep-buy-or-sell-pelt Similar possession laws and licenses may be required in some states too. You should also check to see if the seller has proper license to sell the items if required in their state. Other options are available. Wild Awaken on Etsy sells wolf fur bracelets and pendants. I meditated and had fallen asleep, which caused me to have a very short but beautiful dream shift in which I was a Red fox standing upon a hill which was covered in autumn leaves, the wind ruffling my fur. ➢ I decided to binge watch Harry Potter, again. ➢ I have been feeling shifty all day!
