Research and study different types of spirits, your heritage, and learning about your roots, where your connections are in this universe, etc. Where do your guides come from? If your spirit guides include your ancestors, try to learn more about them and where your roots are. If your spirit guides take the form of animals or mythological creatures, look into them and what their correspondences are, what cultures they can be found in, what folklore includes those animals/mythological creatures, etc. If your spirit guides are based out of energy, check out different ways you can learn to get in tune with your energy. (Such as yoga, meditation, creating, chanting, etc.) Remember that the Page of Pentacles is “the student” in this suit, so think of it as building a family tree. Where would you start to make the connections? How would they prefer to connect with you? There are a lot of different ways to approach this, but the Ten of Swords suggests that you make these connections with an open heart.

Your spirit guides want you to know that even if there may be some communication barriers between you and them, they are always looking out for you. Regardless of YOUR ability to reach them and speak to them, they have been following along with you on your path and will continue to do so. They’re not worried about any connection issues between you because to them, they’re with you all the time and watch as you progress through life. If you’re struggling to connect with them (to HEAR them), it’s a matter of you being able to *hear* them. Their message is for you that they have always been and will always be protecting you, guiding you, and standing by you. Take comfort in the fact that they have blessed you and you are protected.
