As a wanted criminal, you'd think that being on the run constantly would bother him at least a little. Of course, with someone as carefree and playful as the blond, it seemed like a concept that was next to negligible. Almost as if it didn't matter -- and it didn't, really. Not in his mind set, at least. And you'd think that being the best friend to the Prince of all people would sway his thought. To clear up his act and become some kind of loyal and brainwashed tool. Oh, there was no questioning his loyalty at all -- he was as loyal to his friend as any other, perhaps even more so. But to change his entire being for the sake of that loyalty? Hell, he'd be damned to hell before he let that happen.

But it didn't stop him from being restless from time to time. A rare occurrence within the cognizance of the fugitive, but it remained there nonetheless. Though shallow sighs and flights of fancy did naught for his aching boredom. It almost made him nauseous, if only a little. Regardless, he leant against the sleek frame of their car, his shotgun resting upon his shoulder carelessly. Azure hues raised themselves towards the sky, watching the clouds roll by just as uncaring as he, shaded beneath the comfort of his free arm that lay across his forehead. Honestly, what he would give for something fun to just happen right now. Even though such wishful thinking would probably be brushed aside as reckless and idiotic by his companions.

Prompto huffed childishly, moving the arm that previously provided him shade to cradle a freckled cheek, his lips pursing in mild annoyance. Seriously, he hadn't even left him anything to do! No words, no orders or anything. He was just simply expected to stay put like some mindless drone? And yet he found himself complying anyway, despite his inner turmoil and rapidly growing boredom. Perhaps in the long run he should have deviated from his friend's wishes -- since when had he ever acted entirely in accordance to thus, anyway? Maybe then he wouldn't be so restless and gunning for a change in this arbitrary waiting game.

Having recently caught wind of some trapped civilians in Flood Town the now ex-NSA agent couldn't ignore the cry for help. And what with the majority of the place being submerged in water, it wasn't such a friendly place for Cole to be in. Of course she had mixed feelings about fending off forced Conduits that had taken on a fraction of her powers.
