🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them? This is so sososososo sappy but with Nick!!!! She loves her family but he's It. They could be lost in the desert and she'd be more at home than she has ever been. It's certainly unexpected, and she spends longer than she ought to denying that (see the Four Year Separation) but he is. Completely and wholly. 🍂 Does your OC enjoy hugs? What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with receiving affection from others? Yes and no? She's always caught off-guard by hugs but they're nice to receive (eventually she gets used to it, esp with her bf being very Physical Touch). She likes to help, and loves to give gifts. If Tiffany is giving you a gift of some kind, that means you are a Very Special Person in her world. As far as receiving affection from others, she's pleasantly surprised? Thank you. I wasn't expecting you to be so nice to me. 🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them. HEE HEEEEEE. LOVE. If he has to pin down her best feature — he can't, but if he has to — it's her hair: long, soft, the color of sand and pale wheat. He washes it for her every Sunday. Barring her hair, he'd say her eyes. Green like tea, like leaves, like feathers, low-lidded but bright and lively. If those two are out — easy answers, maybe — her skin. Soft, freckled, three shades tan on her arms and chest,, and she always smells like hotel soap and mint. But if he can't say any of that, her lips, certainly — full, easily kissed, and full of the sweetest words he's ever heard. 🌲 How deeply does your OC feel? Are they typically empathetic or do they have a hard time connecting with others in this way? What are they like when offering support and comfort to someone they care for? She's a deep-feeling, very empathetic woman. Often to her detriment! When offering support she starts with trying to help - often getting a menial task done, very "let's do this together!" attitude. But if it's clear the person needs to talk, she'll let them; if they need space, she gives it; if they need a shoulder, she's fine with that too. 💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why? I like how kind she is, and how hard she tries. She's a genuinely good person, despite her mistakes.

She would have said her brother, but he's dead now and the Warcamps don't feel like home. What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with receiving affection from others? God, yes she does. She's a real hugger, and wants to hug all her friends! When she really cares for someone, she wants to be around them also, and ask them questions, really get to know them. As far as receiving affection, as long as it's genuine she's happy to receive. Except romantic affections from prospective suitors. He could admit that Brightness Kenalal — he refused to call her Sosia, because he didn't trust her that much — was at least aware of her position, and never used it to stand above him or his men. She seemed... almost uncomfortable with her privelege. Kaladin had never met a lighteyes who was uncomfortable being such. Watching her talk to Rock, though, he could tell she was more at ease here in the barracks yard than she was in the streets beyond it. 🌲 How deeply does your OC feel? Are they typically empathetic or do they have a hard time connecting with others in this way? What are they like when offering support and comfort to someone they care for? She's more removed from her emotions, and usually categorizes them; I don't think she's unempathetic, but she doesn't lead with empathy. When offering support and care, she often goes for the "tell me what's wrong and let's sort through it together" approach. 💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why? I like that she's smart and engaged! It's hard to cram another character into Stormlight but I wanted her to have her own agenda and wants outside the main plot, and I think I've achieved that.

i think olenna's got quite a few talents; she has a good head for numbers, even if she'd never admit to it (bc concerning herself with finances and accounting is 'unladylike' lmao), and she's definitely a voracious reader, so her talent for wordplay + language is marked. reading is her biggest hobby, since it was a way to both connect with her father after his death and distract herself from the war raging outside of old oak / her grief as a young teenager. after years spent in sewing circles, she becomes a very good weaver, and she actually enjoys it quite a lot; the methodical nature of the movements is very soothing to her. she also has a talent for embroidery, though no real passion; it's more one of those things that she's just expected to be good at, given her high birth, sex, and position as queen.

[ 🔮 ] what is your muse’s relationship with religion and spirituality? were they raised in a certain religion? have they stuck with the same set of spiritual beliefs all their life, or have they changed over time? are they settled in their spirituality now?

hehehehehe tabby u've asked the question ive been excited abt answering for olenna from the BEGINNING god bless u. olenna's relationship with religion is super messed up! she was raised following the faith of the seven; both of her parents were pretty devout, especially danelle, but it was... normal levels ig? the oakhearts visited the sept often, kept tokens of the seven around them, stuff like that.

and then willem, rymund, and theomar are killed by daeron & tessarion; the war reaches new levels of horror; the greens install spies (both overt and covert) in old oak to ensure no new rebellion begins. and olenna turns to the gods for guidance; particularly the mother and the crone. it gets to the point that she starts sleeping in old oak's sept for protection, which is... ironically probably a little stupid when there's a war going on, but nothing bad happens to her. she honestly becomes a little bit fanatical bc of the isolation of her position (old oak is effectively cut off from the outside world at this time, since the crown is keeping a very close eye on them). when the war ends and all of her remaining loved ones have survived, olenna starts dreaming of joining the faith as a septa to 'thank the gods for sparing us all'.

then she becomes queen, so that's not an option. but she continues to be very devout! given that she's less isolated now, she becomes a little less vocally devout (she doesn't go off on long philosophical debates or anything anymore) but she still visits the sept on visenya's hill very often and puts a lot of money into motherhouses and the faith within king's landing. as queen, she encourages a lot of more modest behaviour within the court of king's landing, which was already pretty sober and severe bc of aegon's mislike of tourneys & balls, so she's basically just... the wet blanket on top of the even wetter blanket shjdsjk.

she raises each of her children in the light of the seven; believing that the gods will always protect them if she does that, because that's what she's supposed to do, right? that's what the seven-pointed star says. and then aegon dies and she's lost someone she loves again, and that's painful, and even if she understands that death is natural, she's upset with the gods for taking him when he was still young. and then daeron dies and that's not natural, because no parent should outlive their child. her faith gets a little shaken; she spends long hours in the sept begging and pleading for answers, to no response. and then, when her beliefs are already a little shaky, baelor dies, and the whole faith gets thrown out the window lmao.

she burns her copy of the seven-pointed star; she locks her mother's prayer beads away. she never steps foot in a sept again. she isn't exactly an atheist, because she still believes the gods exist, but much like tywin, she doesn't like them very much. or at all. she feels very personally betrayed by them, bc she dedicated so much of her life to their worship, and she's lost so much. olenna definitely holds onto that anger til the day she dies.

✍ : What is your muse’s handwriting like? Is it neat? Sloppy? Fancy?

taber's handwriting used to be a lot neater before her fingers were broken and healed incorrectly. she writes as neatly as she can, though, and has practiced quite a bit to ensure her letters to zuzanna are both legible and nice to look at. she could push herself a little less hard and not insist on cursive though lmao

jax's handwriting isn't Sloppy, but he's not trying to win any calligraphy contests. he writes in bullet points often, especially since he usually uses handwriting for stuff like grocery lists or personal reminders. his letters are sort of wide and angular

☃  : What is your muse’s favorite season? What about their least favorite season, if they have one? 

taber likes winter! she didn't initially but i retconned that lmao. she tends to run hot, and it's nice to be in a cooler environment while that's the case. i feel like the beginning of summer might be a bit bittersweet for her going forward, bc the party is about to split up for a timeskip and she Deeply loves her party, so losing the close proximity with the first two friends she made outside of her family will sting for a while

jax likes fall, i think. it's not sweltering hot, the trees look nice when you go for a drive outside of town, and he kinda likes the smell. i don't think he has a least favourite, though he's not a big fan of extremes in temperature either way

⚯ : Does your muse have good eyesight? If not, what is it like? Are they nearsighted or farsighted? Or both? Do they use glasses? Or do they prefer contacts?

well now that taber is down an eye, her depth perception doesn't factor in well enough anymore to be near- or farsighted. otherwise though, her eyesight is generally fairly good! she could possibly trend nearsighted as the years go on, but who knows!

jax's eyesight is also pretty good! the idea of him wearing glasses is great though, i may have him wear some while reading or smth. get this man some blue-light filter lenses (though viv needs those more oh my g-d)

📐 : Is your muse good at math? Do they like it, or do they hate it?

taber's alright at it! i think this is one of the areas judoc does genuinely have her beat. she doesn't feel very strongly about math either way, though she keeps it in mind for stuff like her finances

jax is really good at math, actually! especially when it comes to both money, food quantities, and distances. he can do a fair bit of math in his head, too, and takes pride in that fact

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method of comfort effective?

TIFFANY & NICK: Both are fundamentally helpful people and so they try their hardest to comfort the other, and are pretty intuitive about what works best, honestly. Tiffany can ease stress with her healing abilities, but even if she's not actively healing, a cool hand on his forehead will do nicely. Nick acts as a calming presence, but he's good at getting her to talk, and helping her process exactly what she's feeling. ATLAS & ALESSIA: Alessia's natural instinct is to touch people; depending on the stage of their relationship, Atlas' immediate response to that is to tense up further (he's not used to this). Eventually, he gets used to her and her touch does what it's supposed to (calm him down). When she's upset, he will embrace her, which she greatly appreciates. ARABELLA & SILAS: These two have known each other for decades, and even though they've been apart for twenty-five years, they still know each other better than themselves. Silas knows that Arabella needs space; Arabella knows Silas needs a simple distraction, then a long drive with someone he can talk to.

21. Do they enjoy domestic life?

TIFFANY & NICK: Nick does. He wants a house. Tiffany has a wagon, which is pretty close; she doesn't want a full house though, at least not now. ATLAS & ALESSIA: Both Atlas and Alessia are homebodies, so they both like being at home - that said, they aren't very domestic people (especially Alessia). But home is a sanctuary for both of them. ARABELLA & SILAS: No, not really. Vampires tend to roam around. Silas' gang has a base of operations in Agave City, but they still roam around a lot; Arabella moves from motel to motel every few months.

22. Are they comfortable joking around with each other and being silly/playful?

TIFFANY & NICK: Once they open up to each other, yes. Tiffany doesn't mind a bit of playful ribbing, and Nick finds he's a pretty amicable, playful man (once he's not under the thumb of a strangling religious cult). ATLAS & ALESSIA: Alessia tolerates some teasing, but not much. She is free, however, to tease as much as she likes. Atlas doesn't mind, but the double-standard is a little annoying. ARABELLA & SILAS: Neither of them are all that playful to begin with, but neither one will bat an eye at a little joke to the other, as long as it's not a sore subject (which they would never).

23. What are the defining characteristics of their relationship?

TIFFANY & NICK: Service is the strongest - they are both people with a strong desire to help others. Both are self-sacrificing and devoted, both have a need to be understood by someone like them (so it's good they found each other). There's a big theme of like, initially seeming opposite (in personality, not goal) but through opposition realizing the core of the other person is similar, if not the same. ATLAS & ALESSIA: Safety and comfort are their primary themes. Alessia has led a very exciting life before this, but now she's looking for someone more stable and calm to ground her; meanwhile, Atlas is (albeit unconsciously) seeking more excitement in his life. Both find what they're looking for in the other, and work to keep each other safe (more Atlas' game) and comfortable (more Alessia). This is also the first time either of them have been in a real romantic relationship, so there's an air of discovery too. ARABELLA & SILAS: Forgiveness, 100%. Forgiving yourself, forgiving each other, and accepting the other's forgiveness - especially for Arabella, who made a big mistake in the past and can't accept that he's forgiven her. :lays down:

24. How do their personalities affect their relationship? Do their characteristics compliment each other, or clash often?

TIFFANY & NICK: They compliment and clash at the same time :) He's an Aquarius, she's a Leo, but they have each other's Suns as their Risings (so Leo Sun/Aquarius Rising for Tiff and Aquarius Sun/Leo Rising for Nick), meaning there is a deep understanding and also a polar opposition working in tandem. What results is a devoted relationship punctuated by philosophical arguments, but it's okay. They love each other. ATLAS & ALESSIA: Alessia is the dominant force in the relationship - not to say that Atlas is a pushover, but he's pretty easy-going, so doesn't mind her pulling him along. They're both very stubborn, though, so if there was ever a large disagreement they'd butt heads. They don't disagree that fiercely very often though. ARABELLA & SILAS: Overall they compliment each other; Silas is a very, very patient man, and Arabella needs that patience.

25. Do they share a room/house? If so, what does it look like and how does it compliment their personalities?

TIFFANY & NICK: Yeah! They live in a teeny wagon together - it's her wagon so it mostly reflects her. He'll add to it, though, and Tiffany is happy to let him. ATLAS & ALESSIA: Atlas moved in with Alessia and so far he's really only made the kitchen his own; that and his rooftop garage, but the apartment itself? Very much Alessia's. ARABELLA & SILAS: They do not, though Arabella moves into the vampire gang's motel about halfway through. She's very spartan, no memorabilia. Silas is more sentimental and has keepsakes in a room, but they don't share.

26. What sacrifices do they make for the other?

TIFFANY & NICK: If they had their druthers all they would do is sacrifice for the other, but one major aspect is Tiffany eventually getting used to the idea of "home and family" (which is Nick's great Need). It's something she has a hard time getting used to, but she'll do it for him. ATLAS & ALESSIA: They make small adjustments all the time, but neither sees it as a sacrifice. I mean, okay, he is willing to take Darkness Power to keep her safe, but in the day-to-day, they just adjust to each other without much fuss. ARABELLA & SILAS: Arabella is a very independent person, and Silas doesn't impede on that. I don't think he wants to, but he does want to make sure she's safe - but, he lets her have her own life, and never forces anything. That would be cruel.

definitely using google sheets for character sheets that I picked up from tabby (@thewildmother) it’s so nice to use and lots of fun customizing the colors for each character!

—Nat 20: What's the most memorable RP scene you've been a part of?

GOD the way my brain fucking stopped working while trying to think of something! I’m gonna for with a scene from the curse of strahd game I was in…wherein the party got picked up in a carriage and given a ride by strahd himself! the TENSION was INSANE and my stupid little ranger boy flat out refused to help strahd and got fucking bit for it 💀 (so many rp scenes in that game were Juicy as hell I loved it so much)

—TPK: Have you ever had a game go completely off the rails? TPK? How did you adjust?

I don’t know if this one will count cause the adjusting happened in between games BUT the most insane thing to this day was running the etharia campaign and my sorcerer telling me at the very last second of the wedding planning session that she wanted to get a scroll of true seeing from their wizard friend…and me knowing that the main antagonist of the game, the archdevil, was going to be attending the wedding in disguise and he was now going to be revealed because of this?! I was going NUTS adjusting how the wedding session was going to go! it honestly shifted the entirety of the rest of the game (got a really cool speech/convo with the big bad out of it and it Slapped)

—Background: Does your PC get up to anything that you don't narrate often? Any background habits, activities, plots? Do you share these through other avenues (e.g. a group chat, table cross-talk, posting online)?

oh so much…rhydian is always Observing (with that fucking high passive of his jfc), usually while doing activates to keep himself busy (boy really needs a distraction these days) fletching arrows, other little woodcarving projects, collecting plants (for poisons/stuff for cian/or just cause they’re pretty), probably also keeps track of plants and animals they come across in a journal. I do try to share as much as possible outside of the game cause this boy is not very talkative atm lmao

—Vibe: How does your character get along with the party? Does your group talk about party dynamics outside the game?

he’s getting along with the party well so far it's still hard for him to get super close at this stage cause he’s Going Through It atm! he probably feels closest to cian?? as the other resident “elven plant boy” there is certainly things to bond over (there’s also the fact that cian reminds him of his brother) but also minah is the only one to unlock major bits of his backstory so far so rogue bonding is on the fast track now and leo is slowly making it father figure territory so that’s exciting! he’s still slightly annoyed with riya some of the time but he also thinks she’s cool af so it’s complicated lmao
