Andrew found trust in Neil. He found someone he could close his eyes around, someone he could lay himself bare before. He found someone who didn’t just need his protection- but someone who could hold their own yet never turn on Andrew, someone who didn’t need his protection, but wanted it anyway. He found someone who pushed until he knew to stop, someone who didn’t let Andrew live in his comfort zone, but also never forcibly dragged him out of it.

He found a part of himself he had thought he’d lost, so many years ago, trampled and crushed in the years spent jumping from home to home. A part he thought he’d let wither and decay, a part he’d set fire to if only to protect himself.

Neil, on the other hand, found consistency in Andrew. He found a reason to stay, a reason not to pack his bags, never look back, and run. He found a cause worth fighting for, someone he’d easily lay down his own heavily guarded self-preservation for. He found someone in whose hands he could put his safety in, someone who would keep him grounded and keep him sane.

He found a part of himself that he didn’t know existed. He found that dampened spark burrowed down in his chest and allowed it to grow, feeling the warmth that spread from his chest through every limb, lighting him up from the inside out. He found that sheltered part that he and his mother kept locked away, pushed down deep so as to never see the light of day.

They both found things they never thought they’d have in eachother. They both uncovered those dark, hidden places in themselves and the other, the secrets and the conditions they both needed in the air before either of them could find peace.

They’re both horribly broken, shattered people. But their sharp and jagged edges lined up just right.

Can you imagine after nya comes back from being liquid for a year she goes on a mission to catch Ronin whose causing trouble again but when Ronin sees her he just stops doing whatever thieving he's doing and just drops everything to go hug her and she assumes he's trying to distract her and misdirect her until he cries that's when she's like "oh. huh"

i want to see aziraphale and crowley hold hands.

neil confirmed they did on the bus, but i want to SEE it. hugs are great. kissing is great. but there something about two people holding hands that just gets to me. idk what it is. but anytime i see an animatic or animation and crowley and azi hold hands i get so so giddy and want to cry

i want to say its because of them being close, but that should mean hugging would have the same effect on me. but it doesnt. its just holding hands. its such a small gesture, one that can completely unnoticed, and yet it speaks volumes. its not loud, but it is. its a statement. a whisper of "i trust you. im glad you're here. we're in this together" that sounds like an orchestra to them alone.

it makes me think of dates nights. it makes me think of comfort. it makes me think of two people so in love, running through a field together. it makes me think of love and safety and protection and promises. it makes me think of standing together, against the world, against heaven and hell and anything and everything in between and saying "this is us and you cant change that. you cant take this away."

i love hand holding. i want them to hold hands. let them hold hands. neil please let them hold hands.
