ive been working this data entry job for a pretty large insurance company (theyve got multiple locations across the us and at least 1 overseas) that insures banks for things like mortgage and auto loans that people take out. ive been here since may 2021, and have been a temp the whole time. my boss has told me during every meeting we have that im going qbove and beyond their standards and she was pushing for me to get hired on as a permanent employee. HR reached out with an offer of $13/hr (i currently make $14 with the agency) and was told that the absolute max this LARGE INSURANCE COMPANY could pay me is $13.50. as i dont have another job lined up, i have to take the cut for now, which is gonna put a heavy strain on my finances. fuck HR and fuck shit companies and fuck capitalism
