remembering that one time I shivered all night and could not fall asleep because I only brought a thin duvet cover to curl up under for a sleepover in the middle of winter and was too mentally ill and traumatised and socially awkward to ask friends if they would share a blanket with me. also too weird about physical touch and thinking I'd be violating their personal space if I cuddled up to them for warmth. or they'd feel disgusted by physical contact with me. and a million other insane thoughts/beliefs.

I seriously wanna take 15y.o. me by the shoulders and tell him it's okay to touch and be touched!!!!!!! all part of the human experience!!!!!! wtf bro, no one would've denied you shared body heat or a blanket!!!!! why were you like thiiiiiiiisssssssss!!!!!!!
