Things I Don’t Get - June 8, 2015

Soccer - I admit it’s unfair, but I just can’t get into soccer, and I can’t tell you why. I just don’t get it.

Game of Thrones - Once I heard there were dragons involved, I lost all interest. That’s just totally unrealistic. Dragons have never existed and I doubt they will in my lifetime.

Fast & The Furious movies - To be fair, I’ve never even watched ONE of the 37 movies in this franchise. I think last time I saw a trailer, they were dropping out of planes in cars. That just seems unnecessary.

Bruno Mars - I love pop music, but I really dislike Bruno Mars. It seems like a lot of people disagree, so I can only assume those people are idiots.

Things I don't get - at least in Anime:

Why can most of the anime characters NOT FUCKING SWIM?! Didn't you learn that at primary school?! You have to be able to swim, most of all if you live on an island, you idiots!°

It's dangerous not to be able to swim and more fun if you can do it. Doesn't mean you have to swim for a hobby, just in a way that you won't drown whenever you happen to fall or be shoved into the next available body of water°.

I feel like everyone is using life after graduating high school as an opportunity to reinvent their persona and basically their entire reputation. Now that isn't a bad thing, a new environment provides one with a clean slate, a chance to be someone that you have always aspired to be. I just don't see why some girls that used to be completely normal are using this opportunity to become extremely promiscuous and flirty, just basically something that they are not. College is all about having fun and discovering yourself but it's really not all about how many guys you can bone. Why would anyone want to become an object to be used? I just don't get it. Like some girls are just trying so hard to be hella sexual in order to get all of this attention and when they inevitably obtain it, it's just like congratulations...you're a whore?
