So if the current Doom does turn out to be a Doombot, I am just picturing Doom and his family coming back into things as their own Fantastic Four-esque family? Because that did seem to be where his arc was going, and it would tie in nicely with the whole Mephisto arc Marvel has going on.

I'm unaware of the Mephisto arc (besides that he owns a casino in Vegas which is AKDJFJJAJFJA;)

But I think that Victor could and wants to very much try to get his affairs in order (especially concerning his children). It would be, nice, cathartic even, to get some issues with him and Kristoff (NOT the Kristoff he told to fuck off because fuck the most recent doctor doom run but just. Post 2015 Kristoff that is feeling...pretty shitty, considering Victor just threw him away entirely during secret wars to go play pretend with the Richards family sans Reed.) Because I think Kristoff deserves validation and just like...a general apology from Victor about being a pretty bad dad a lot of the time, but especially recently. And he'd like to have him as a son again. And meet his new baby brother. And I think this SHOULD take multiple issues I think Kristoff SHOULD be very suspicious and distrustful of this weird "redeeming myself" thing Victor is doing but...Maybe Victor can show he really cares somehow.

It's...hard to say when Victor will return-return if we go this route because again if he EXPLAINS why he's away there's gonna be a lot of trouble for his kid AND Amara and he wants to make sure they're safe from both superheroes AND villains. So he's...probably nervous, about leaving. But some big event will happen or he decides that this doombot just needs to get the fuck out of here already and come blasting in all pissed and likely claim that he was off somewhere else (true) taking care of very important, very personal business (true) and that he hadn't intended for his doombot to go so haywire (true!) And then it would turn into an almost secret identity type thing but instead of hiding who he is it's about hiding that he has a child...which in turn can cause conflict about not being as available as some heroes might like, thinking he's up to something. The only people who know he has a son are Tony (Amara's ex and still friend, also it would be fucking hilarious if he was the kids godfather and also he has no idea about that) and Stephen (the closest thing Victor has to a bestie friend that practices magic and also takes normal doctor house calls).

Reed of course will try to be invasive and find out but he'll keep quiet about it because he's going to be cool for once. Also Valeria Richards nannies occasionally because of course she knows she texted Victor immediately the first time she saw the doombot when she came back like "why'd you make this one look more human" and he's like "busy, away, wanted everyone to think it's actually me because I'm taking care of my secret baby I'm expecting you to sneak off and meet on Wednesday. Do you want chicken or pork for dinner." Also he's one of Victors cool enemies who wouldn't ever use this against him because however much I make fun of Reed I'm aware he would never harm a child. ESPECIALLY for something his father did. (That's like, one of HIS biggest fears about HIS kids that Victor himself has realized in the past for Reed. But the baby is innocent. Victor can make up for his sins on his own.)

Also Amara canonically knows how to produce a "cure" for mutants that would take away their abilities (she would never want to, and was terrified at making this discovery) and the doombot literally raised national tensions with Krakoa. And she and Victor are not married, they're not even dating, they just have a son now, but he's very worried about what Erik and Xavier and the others would do to the mother of his child if they ever found out about that. (He KNOWS what mommy issues can do to a guy look at him he does NOT want that for his kid.)

So he may very well be an "occasionally I show up" type of entity for a while but there are more than enough event comics and such to have him show up in. Also he can show up in Iron Man and Doctor Strange runs as part of the cast.

Also Kristoff should get to be in the young avengers again I KNOW whoever drew him last made him look like fucking 45 but he's supposed to be the same age as Cassie Lang (or he can be just a couple years older than her, just because deaths and stuff. Timelines are weird.) And should get to join the young avengers. Or party with the west coast avengers. Also give the west coast avengers their comic back. I think he has a fun personality that would lead to some fun dynamics within those casts. Also I just think Billy being incredibly nervous about interacting with the Von Dooms is really, really funny.
