PLEASE PLEASE DO AN ANALYSIS OF UR MUSIC CHOICES IM VERY CURIOUS!!!!!!!! i like the juxtaposition of stuff like toms diner with more poppy utaite work i think theres a definite through line w tone that conveys the overall intended consistent ship feel but its still very neatly diverse ^^ INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HI OMG IM SO HAPPY YOURE INTERESTED!!!!! :D hehehe ok um im super excited to do this, im sorry if it takes a while to answer i just have a LOT of thoughts about Aichi ^^

ok lets get into it (under the cut bc its long :3)

So Drop Pop Candy is THE quintessential Aichi song, like she's represented by the girl singing, and she's optimistic about moving forward and spending the days with Ichi, while Ichi is represented by the guy singing (and also the cat), where he's nervous about the future, but Ai encourages him to move forward with her. Also the translation im using mentions the moon and stars, and how the girl wants to reach them, and i think that fits really well with Ai and her connection to the moon! i could just copy paste the entire song here and be like "just read this its literally Aichi" lololol (also i really want to draw Ai in the outfit that the girl in the music video wears >u<)

When We First Met also just fits so well with the idea that i had that Ichimatsu loves Ai's hair, and how when Ai was younger/in highschool her hair was short, but now its really long.

I think that Ichimatsu is very perceptive of the changes in people that he's close to, so it also represents how he sees that Ai has changed since he last saw her, and his love for her has grown since then (also! in the art i made of high school Ai she has a little bunny hair clip, and Ichi is the one that gave it to her :) he won it from a crane game and immediately thought "i have to give this to Ai, she would love it." and she did ^^)

Always Like This and Who Said Anything (About Falling In Love) are low points for Ichimatsu before the start of their relationship. He is so scared of his feelings for her, because he doesnt want to mess up their friendship, he doesnt want to push it and risk it. He also feels like he's holding her back from experiencing life and following her passions, since she told him that she moved back to Akatsuka from college because she missed him and all of her friends there. He thinks that she would be better off if she moved back to her college, and that its selfish that deep down he really wants her to stay with him. BUT AI CAME BACK BECAUSE SHE REALLY DID MISS HIM AND ALL HER FRIENDS AND SHE FELT AWFUL FOR LEAVING AND SHE REALLY DOES CARE ABOUT HIM!!!! T_T

Sunburn is such a cute song that i think represents the sort of beginning of their relationship, and like Ai loves the beach so they would definitely go there for a date.

Its like the giddiness and nervousness Ichi feels, and just how intensely he loves Ai.

Love At First Sight makes me think of before their relationship, but a good amount of time has passed since Ai moved back, and theyve gotten back to being close friends again.

Theres a scenario in my head where Ichi is out at night bc he just needed to get out of his house for a while, and he ends up at Ai's place and they hang out and she's like "if you want to spend the night you can, i cant imagine living with five other people like your brothers haha" and while she's talking hes zoning out and in his brain hes screaming but then hes just like "ok. that, sounds good. thank you" and then hard cut to him laying on her couch wide awake thinking 'im in love with her im in love with her oh my god im in love with her. i need to kill somebody' lololol ^^ the song just really reminds me of him, especially these lyrics:

Beings is on the playlist mainly because of the nostalgia it gives me of when i first got into Osomatsu-san because thats when i first heard it ^^

Mermaid mainly represents how Ai feels when she realizes her feelings for Ichimatsu. There's a lyric that says "This tiny world, when you totter with the screw, it will begin to loosen up!", and it reminds me a lot of Ai in the fact that shes a robot and has screws, but also that her world is held together by screws, and they get rusty and weak when theyre in the water. She feels like her world changes when her feelings for Ichimatsu flood her heart ("The tiny world is flying out, as her heart floats on cloud nine. The boy must be aiming at the sea. Unable to shake off this wobbly feeling, she already knows, it is nothing but fascination!") The lyric "Her real face is shown" makes me think of how Ai sometimes thinks that she is nothing but a machine, her "true face" only being the screws and wires that she is made up of. Then, the lyrics "Knowing that nothing else will happen, he goes on chasing something as if motivated for some reason. It is nothing but fascination!" are more from Ichimatsu's point of view, about how he wants to understand Ai and her feelings when he sees a shift in how she acts (because of her feelings for him), but he knows that nothing will really happen because hes scared of finding out how she truly feels about him, because he doesnt want her to hate him, but hes also scared at the fact that she likes him.

Sweet Little Kiss is a bit of a pick-me-up from the previous song, just a sweet little love song that makes me think of a cute date where Ai and Ichi walk in the winter snow, feeling warm from the sweets they eat and their love for each other, and they share a sweet kiss in the snow :)

ツキ (Tsuki) is the namesake of the playlist! :D Tsuki means moon, which ties into how Ai is connected to the moon.

Its sung from Ichimatsu's perspective, about how he doesn't really think he's the right person for Ai, but as long as she's here with him, he'll do his best to comfort her.

These lyrics are just so him ;_;

Hibikase is leaning a bit into AU territory, mainly it makes me think about the merch line where the brothers are hackers. Like Ai is a vocaloid/robotic idol in their world and they fall in love despite her being a computer. it just fits to me, also its just one of my fave songs ever ^^

６つ子の魂ナユタまで (Mutsuko no Tamashi Nayuta Made) is the op that i connect to Ai and Ichimatsu the most (though it can also extend to the other brothers considering what the song is about).

Ai sees the many different sides of Ichimatsu, and even though she knows how shitty he and his brothers can be, she cant help her feelings.

Its a more lighthearted version of Ai figuring out her feelings for Ichi, but she still does feel like it would be too good to be true if Ichi did like her back.

Love At First Sight (2011 Fancy Studio Version) ITS THE REPRISE!!!! Its a contrast to the much quieter original version, where Ichi was trying to push his feelings down and not let them take over, but in this version its a lot more upbeat and theres more going on, showing that Ichi is fully realizing his feelings and they blow up inside him, filling his heart with love for Ai.

Tom's Diner is specifically for the Phantom Thief AU, taking place in this pretty city that Ai lives in. She's at a coffee shop during a rainy day, with a bunch of small things around her that remind her of Ichi (a black cat walking by outside, cat paintings inside the shop), because she had previously encountered him during one of his heists since her father Dekapan is the owner of the biggest museum in their city. All that he left behind was a purple handkerchief with a black cat paw on it, which she kept and is now studying as she sips her coffee. She feels someone is looking at her, but when she turns, there's nobody except a cute black cat meowing at her from outside.

Celeste makes me think of the Denki Mystery AU, and its from the perspective of Hajime (Ichi).

Instead of new years, Hajime reminisces on the summer festival he, Akimi (Ai) and his brothers went to when they all first came to the village, and he remembers how she looked in her yukata covered in red flowers.

Hajime feels as though he's seen Akimi before, and he wants to find out the secret she seems to be wrapped up in. He's not sure what his feelings are for her, he always feels like hes chasing after her, trying to understand her. But, he also feels like he shouldnt be getting so close to her, despite his beating heart signaling otherwise.

サリシノハラ (Sarishinohara) and Sexy Sunshine being right next to each other is a bit of whiplash considering the tones of each song, but i put them together because theyre songs that i connect to the Fujio Rock AU. Sarishinohara i think is a song that Ai would sing during the festival, since in the AU she's an underground idol who is also a fan girl of the Matsuno brothers' band. She catches the eye of the brothers, and after that she becomes a regular feature for their songs and when they perform live (in actuality they all knew each other when they were younger, and dont recognize each other now, but when Ichi saw her first perform on stage, he thought her voice sounded familiar). Sexy Sunshine reminds me of the Feat. Matsuzou set from the AU, since it takes place at a music festival on the beach, and i think its a song that Ai and Ichi would perform together with the rest of the band.

and yeah! aichi is very real to me ^^

OKAY OKAY. Be normal mare we've been preparing this <- she is batshit crazy over måneskin

I will do my best to give a variety of styles but also keep this list on the shorter side :>

FOR YOUR LOVE - English song, one of my go-to Måneskin recs. the guitar line is very iconic-- it''s not exactly like what you've heard before, but it feels familiar anyway. not the most show-stopping lyricism, but EXTREMELY catchy-- very good bassline + drumline. overall up there on my faves, safe choice imo (but i might be off)

CORALINE - Italian song, the song that got me into them <3 has a sweet into, nothing particularly intense, before going into an instrumental section that begins to build it. the heart of this song is in the more raw vocals and stronger instrumentals that come through next. very exceptional display of the drummer's skill & has a nice meaning <3

BABY SAID - English song and the most pop they get, imo. still definitely rock but leans more into a standard pop formula. hits a diff register of Damiano's voice that's a little less rough but still equally as skilled, extremely catchy. got into it more after the first few listens

GASOLINE - English song, one of my top 3 favorites. this is their anti-war anthem-- it has a thick, commanding bass, an exceptional guitar solo, and a very strong rock energy behind it. it's unique to their other songs but full of a LOT of passion and the kind of song to get your blood thrumming. my instant favorite off the album, except for maybe MARK CHAPMAN, which i wont include here but can talk about later

TIMEZONE - English song, one of the three main 'ballad'-type songs off of RUSH! I like this one because the emotions of it really carry through and it feels like one of their most heartfelt pieces imo. the guitar starts out very gentle but when you get to the chorus there's a lot more drive in all the instrumentals and vocals and it feels more desperate. love love love this one

Torna a casa - Italian song, my favorite of theirs (though my favorites shift often, this one has been consistent thus far). definitely one of their quieter songs-- starts with no drums and very muted guitar and bass playing, just quiet vulnerable singing. builds up to the first chorus which is still just as sweet sounding. drums come in and it begins to gain more volume and fervency into the second verse, even though similar lyrics and themes repeat it feels more raw almost? and then you get hit with the bridge. the instrumentals get very loud but they fade in and out to center the vocals, which sound like someone's desperately pleading, fades out again for the last chorus which has REALLY gorgeous harmonies. i don't do it justice but i really encourage listening to a live recording if you decide you like it because it's fucking beautiful. i love GASOLINE for its pure heart and rock core, but i love torna a casa because its just fucking beautiful, honestly. even if you don't get all the words you feel like you're going through a fucking journey.

the seven main schools (+ astral & shadow) as flowers

NOTE: i did not dive too deep into researching for this and most of the information i got for this post i got from this site . please dont come after me if i get a meaning wrong IM TRYING MY BEST!!! moving on

this is going to be a LONG POST so sit tight

myth - clematis (also known as traveller’s joy, old man’s beard)

i chose clematis mainly for its meaning: representing artifice, ingenuity and mental beauty. i think part of being a conjurer means that the world is only as big as you make it, and part of it is utilizing your imagination to its fullest extent. mental beauty and ingenuity go hand in hand with being creative, but artifice, in this flower symbolism, means to be cunning or be deceitful. i also think this comes from cyrus drake also being your teacher, which means he would teach in a style that would want you to exploit the weaknesses of the creatures that you summon (that being, calling their true name) in order for them to do your bidding.

“Myth dwells between Fire and Ice, for that is where the shadows lie, and Myths are the shadowy forms of thought made real.”

storm - gladiolus (also known as a sword lily)

urgh.... storm was such a hard school to choose a flower for @_@ according to the wizard101 site storm is also based on creativity, but since we already had that sort of meaning attached to myth, i decided to go with the next best thing which is that gladiolus represents strength, strong character, honor and moral integrity. i feel like it’s pretty well known fact that storm is a hitting school, and a pretty well known one at that - their reputation as a power school is pervasive through all wizarding circles. i feel like this is also where a diviner’s sense of pride comes from - being able to one-hit ko enemies and brandish your power proudly.

amazingly enough, the wizard101 site also addresses this, saying that, “the Storm School will train its student wizards to do a lot of damage. Storm Wizards have the ability to unleash high amounts of damage from an early level, which is good, but they place too much emphasis on power, and therefore suffer in terms of accuracy.”

placing too much emphasis on power... very interesting indeed

death - papaver (poppy)

death was ALSO a super hard school to pick a flower for. i debated between the dracula, the poppy, and the spider lily before deciding to settle with the poppy. I chose poppies in particular because “Poppies have long been used as a symbol of sleep, peace, and death: Sleep because the opium extracted from them is a sedative, and death because of the common blood-red color of the red poppy in particular.” source

I FEEL AS IF THE SPIDER LILY WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO EASY OF A CHOICE but i wanted to encompass all the meanings that death has and has been associated with. some people associate death with peace (at being in a “”better place””), and some people sometimes to describe it as “sleeping” to a younger audience with no death awareness. also heres a nice little excerpt from the w101 site: “Death is about ending and closure. All things pass eventually, and time cannot be held back forever. Wizards devoted to Death Magic, known as Necromancers, understand this fact about everything around them and strive to face it without fear.”

ice - magnolia

as soon as i saw this flower and its description it was PERFECT for ice. magnolias represent longevity and perseverance, due to the fact that magnolias are believed to have existed even at the beginning of time. the ice schools main theme is about persistance - which is to say, that if you’re patient and determined, you will collect the fruits of your labor in the end.

the school page even says this, noting that “The Ice School will train its student wizards to take high amounts of damage and survive.” To thaumaturges, it is simply about surviving to see the end of the battle, and that’s what their play style involves. both magnolias and thaumaturges have that in common : persist and survive.

fire - ixora (also known as jungle flame, flame of the woods)

it was also hard choosing a plant for fire, seeing as so many plants can be described as “passionate” in a symbolic sense. it was between this and orange tulips, but i felt that both the names “jungle flame” and “flame of the woods” both fit fire’s theme. that being said, ixora’s represent passion - the core of fire’s development and description. it is the “bright, burning flame of raw emotion sweeping over everything.” (w101)

fire wizards mainly utilize damage over time spells, which reminds me that a frog boiling in a pot will leap immediately out of the water if its too hot, but will stay until it dies if the water’s temperature reaches steadily. while fire’s general message are that it may consume everything it touches, and how pyromancers are quick to anger and tempestuous, fire plays the longer game by slow roasting their enemies until it is too late for them.

balance - cosmos

when i saw this flower and its meanings there was literally no chance any other flower could compare omg

balance is described as finding the equality of everything and harmony. they are described as broad-minded, taught to be considerate of all things, as well as their own place in the world they live in. cosmos, in this case, represent order, peace, modesty and harmony -- all things which are important to a balance wizard. balance thrives in the company of others, simply because it was made in mind to help others in the heat of battle. “The Balance School will train its student wizards to be effective in group play.” (w101)

however as a result, they may appear as stand-offish and impassive, unable to choose a side or make a choice. such is life when you’re raised to consider all factors of every choice you make - every decision feels heavy.

life - achillea (also known as yarrow)

named after the greek hero achilles, legends would say that his soldiers would treat their wounds with this. source

i chose achillea for life simply for the fact that it represents healing and protection, as well as it being used it being a versatile plant used to treat a variety of maladies or sicknesses - it’s been used as a medicinal plant for a long time across the world.

life embodies “the spirit, the force of awareness and existence. It is about constant growth and movement.” (w101). theurgists are described as having simple pleasures in life, in revelling in the idea of the living, breathing, planet around you. it utilizes the song of creation, using it to weave life where there was none previously. it definitely has powerful roots in the canon storyline - i just wish it was utilized more through its play style.

(astral) star - aster (also known as starwort, frost flower)

ok i dont have a deep meaning for this im sorry . i mainly chose aster simply because “aster” is derived from the Greek word “astron”, which means “star”, and because of the shape of its flowers. pretty simple reason but ill try my best to do it justice

however, aster is represented by patience and elegance -- star magic may be a lesser form of sun magic, simply because it is meant to power yourself rather than your spells. i think theres something inherently elegant about an aura wrapping itself around your figure, bending to the whim of your spells, as it both enhances your health or your spells.

(astral) sun - datura (also known as devil’s trumpet)

Datura symbolizes power and caution. It is a powerful and deadly plant, but also a major religious and cultural symbol.

i chose datura’s for sun because sun is all about power -- datura is highly poisonous and very dangerous to be around. the main deal of the sun school is that they use spells to make their own stronger - it has the “power to endure, power to persevere, and power to change”. we don’t get much of a canon explanation for how sun magic works outside of battles, but i imagine that you have to be careful with sun magic, because as we know - absolute power corrupts absolutely. aint that neat

(astral) moon - protea

protea’s represent ingenuity, diversity, transformation and courage. a big part of moon magic is that it is all about change. changing your spells, your body, your thoughts -- it is symbolized by the moon because it goes through many changes (the tides, the phases of the moon, etc).

i feel as if moon magic might be one of the harder magics to master out of all the astral schools - the transformation into something else may not come as easy as star auras, or that it simply may be too hard on the caster in question, having to change their physical appearances and battle tactics to fit into a new one.

shadow - rhododendron

rhododendron’s represent temptation, caution and danger.

despite how pretty it looks, the stems, leaves, and flowers can be poisonous to humans and pets if ingested. i feel as if that describes shadow perfectly -- the pleasant sight of these pretty flowers is enough to entice a person (wizard) forward, but you must be careful with how you handle this plant, or else you will end up facing dire consequences. (backlash)

shadow magic as a whole can be very tempting to those who seek it -- offering power that scales above others. but it is an advanced magic, and those who seek to play with it often end up paying the price with their lives (in this case, morganthe was crushed underneath the weight of power that shadow gave her). shadow can give you an upper hand, however, if used right -- and the wizard, for the most part, is using it right.

shadow is mainly a cautionary tale of not playing with higher, advanced, magics with the wrong intentions.

2020 fic recs!! [Part 1]

this idea was stolen from @iam93percentstardust cuz i just,,,thought that this year was absolute shit and it would be nice to make a fic rec list of fics from this year that helped me through it. this will be over a range of fandoms and ships, but all fics were written this year.

fics are ordered by the month they were published. ive tried to keep to five fics per month, but this is not obviously all the fics ive read that month - i just didn’t want to make this insanely long.

im releasing the first half of this on the 1st of December, and the second half on the 1st of January 2021 - because otherwise it would just get so long (and also so i will actually have fics for December)

This probs isnt unpopular by any means, but idk what else to put here so take this:

I dont really see it often discussed that yknow ramuda is an abuse victim. Like, its very clear that chuokhu uses and abuses him, and his life is constantly being hung over his head. No wonder the dude is doing anything he can in order to survive, he has no choice in that regard. Before i get told this in the notes yes i know this doesnt excuse the things hes done!!! But tbh i really think that like the trauma that ramuda is living with kinda needs to be addressed.

I am a huge multishipper and have found a way to ship ramuda w just about most people (that are adults and not in chuokhu lol) so this is pretty tough

After all, jakurai is a rather empathetic man and he probably would def understand the situation that ramuda was in. After all this dude was an ex assassin, if ramuda was to tell him everything, im sure that he would be able to relate to yknow the time he took others' lives, people with families and friends that he killed because he was ordered to and most likely had no other choice. Of course, jakurai is well within his right to not forgive ramuda for what happened to yotsutsuji, but i feel like he would and would help him get out of the situation hes in,,, and also im soft for the TDD era ok like how jakurai WANTED TO KNOW THE REAL RAMUDA AND LIKE,,, even when ramuda snapped at him he was GLAD HE WANTSD TO KNOW HIM FUCK MAN,,, i just really like these two ok

I have quite a lot of hcs! Here are a few and like some explanation as to why:

- hes trans - i personally believe this bc personally itd make sense. Ramuda has a very feminine appearance and build, those that are like typically common in asian countries. As well as that, he has his own autonomy unlike the other clones. It wouldnt surprise me if chuokhu orignally wanted to make a girl to keep the other divisions in check, but when he decided personally that he didnt want to be such a way, they said sure, more room for us to treat you as we want to. Hes got money, getting T wouldnt be that difficult for him either, so thats why his voice is. That way fiaudjsnfnd anyway i think it makes sense!! Idk--

- he has bpd - projection probably but the biggest inspiration for this headcanon is how he is emotionally. His swings are violent - he feels and expresses such a diverse range of emotions and its so easy for him to change his emotional disposition - whilst also mostly feeling totally empty. Relationship wise also, given how he was genuinely really close to jakurai and then completely splitting on him, h a t i n g him. Yeah that sounds like bpd to me chief i know i have it!!! Theres more ik there is but i cant pull up examples rn

- hes neurodivergent - again mostly projection honestly and like there isnt much of a canon basis in his behaviour, just little things, but i like to personally hc that aside from eating candy to stay alive duh, that he chooses lollipops bc they serve as a sort of stim?? Also ik that fashion is his job but hes also so so clearly passionate about it that its a special interest for him, and thats partially why he took it up as a job in the first place, so he could do something related to his special interest lol. „You're crazy." you grinned and looked back at the ceiling.

It was silent for a bit until you heard his voice again.

ateez film diary analysis

ok i am currently typing with tears in my eyes but that’s cool!!!! gonna talk about ateez diary film for a moment. btw if you’re here for theories, this might not be for you, my brain is not capable of that critical thinking lmao. although, i will be rambling/analyzing the cinematography and overall admiring the film!! under the cut because this happened to be 1.5k words oops.

man, first of all, 16 minutes?? thank you for the food kq!! i think their concept is super cool. it’s unpredictable, refreshing, and just gives me a lot of high hopes for this comeback. ateez never disappoints, they come back each time stronger and better.

“this is the story where their dimensions are split into eight pieces again.” that kinds hurt me. throughout the film we see clips of them being happy and joyful with each other, but we also see scenes where they’re all alone. they didn’t get separated by losing contacts or whatever, literally dimensions.

phew okay, when the man with the black fedora approaching hongjoong like that was soooo dskjdj ugh i love it when they have a bright light in the back, capturing the silhouette perfectly. sorry i’m such a sucker for those types of shoots!! now hongjoong’s dream. “the world inside a television cannot be reached. the world they live in and the world that i live in is blocked.” yea.. they’re separated from dimensions. isn’t that so heartbreaking?? separated by time and space.

anyways moving on to seonghwa’s memory. i loved this. “i thought i lacked in many areas and have much to learn.” then we see a bunch of to-do lists and i guess they’re kinda like goals to accomplish or things he wants to learn. the somewhat long shot of him sitting on this table and the camera moving away from him gave me a sense of isolation (i also don’t know why yeo in the smn box is on the tv but it could mean he’s trapped). we also see him walking straight, kinda like following a straightforward path with a lot of control, hence the to-do lists. then he hits stops. now the girl is the total opposite of seonghwa. she’s dancing, moving, and overall carefree i would say. everything seonghwa is lacking. she’s freedom. i don’t have much to say about this scene but i really like how when he was walking one step at a time, it was completely dark. but as soon as it hits stops and sees her, there were lights.

now my favourite, wooyoung’s choice. that transition to seonghwa’s little emo time to wooyoung’s hyped underground music and dancing was the serotonin boost i needed. let’s talk about his ponytail because it made me a whole simp for him. plus he’s so fucking cool?? if i become a wooyoung biased soon, you know why. he talks about stage fright and the scene where people were looking down at the camera was perfect, low camera shots show dominance or superiority. when you have stage fright, you’re worried and insecure about your abilities (at least that’s how i feel) and with people look down at you is almost like they’re judging and aren’t expecting much from you. ateez brings him courage and reassurance, they give him strength. the last scene with the rain and the flickering light so chilling. its almost like the rain washed away his everything.

yeosang’s time giving me slight dark academia vibes and i’m here for it!!! also bird metaphors?? yes please! “limited freedom. like a bird in a cage.” we see yeosang in a room surrounded by other musicians but he isn’t playing his instrument. almost like he doesn’t wanna be there or has no real passion for this field. hence him talking about ‘expanding his dreams’. we get a close shot at his face looking forward to the right, i feel as if he’s daydreaming or reaching out. taking back to say my name, we have yeosang trapped inside that box, almost like the birds with limited freedom. he drops his violin and suddenly the birds (they symbolize peace, transformation, freedom and power) are free, giving us a scene with his friends. he’s free.

san’s resolution might just be my favourite in terms of cinematography. can we just talk about the long amount of time san has the stay put for the timelapse to work?? the scene wins my heart. now we see the classroom in a mess, meaning school was never enjoyable to san. always moving and no friends. the way he’s moving seems like there’s not much he can do in his life. the escalator scenes kinda look like the one in wonderland. time is always moving, the escalator moving, and san runs back up despite it moving in the opposite direction. im not sure where i was going with this but i thought i was kinda cool, how he’s running back up to be with his friends.

next, we have yunho and his brother. in a matter of seconds, all the light in the studio flicker and turns off. this is quite similar to the flicker lights in wooyoung’s last scene. there’s a pattern here with flickering lights and how it means lost and loneliness. we don’t know what 5:07 mean, maybe its completely relevant but knowing kq and their team, almost everything seems intentional. also i saw on twt (not my analysis) but seonghwa’s to-do list includes a task of learning how to drive, then we get yunho getting hit by a car. not sure where i got from this but i thought i would include it.

actor jongho!!!! he’s so good i love him. ok so we get that basketball was his dreams but due to his broken leg, it seems impossible for him to pursue that dream. we him sitting at a distance, admiring the game and the people who are able to play. but when he’s in the court, he’s all alone (might just be because he can’t go in court when other people are playing but just let me be deep for a second oki). the burning basketball means he cannot play again. then the fight scene between him and mingi. i want to talk about the camera work for a second. it’s unstable, harsh and a little unfocused (because it’s handheld) and it makes it seem like another member’s pov, pushing the realism on us. hmm this might be kinda dumb but the loud bang when mingi got pushed was a little unexpected hence every scene with the boys was all very calm and had music in the back, no sounds. idk just a noticed. ohmygod another silhouette scene with beautiful lighting in the back!!!! the camera is moving away from him, moving away shows weakness. i loveee this so much along with the smoke. his dreams are burning up, literally.

last we have mingi’s diary. “earphones in my ears, the world is mine for now.” again, similar to seonghwa in the dark walking, mingi is isolating himself from the world. he’s using music to escape from reality. mingi looks trapped by the way its shot, cutting off his forehead and lips only showcasing his eyes and nose. this could be his facial features are more important than anything else right now. the camera angle is below mingi, again with the dominance and superiority… because he literally kicked someone. but still the same camera angle except this time mingi is looking up at the sky or forward, not looking down. with that, mingi no longer looks intimidating, he seems slightly vulnerable. and i think that’s really powerful how quickly he transitions despite the same angle. so we know mingi uses music as an escape, “i would rather be alone than encounter the world.” then we see yeosang (by his flannel) taking off his earphones. bringing him back to reality with the boys, and everything seems a lot more peaceful. its kinda like, without his friends, he would rather be isolated. now i want to point how the loud bang from jongho’s shot. it’s literally the same shot but the noise isn’t there indicating that mingi has earphones in (i think even when they’re not literally in, he still shuts out noise), shutting off the noise. i think the little details were so well done. we also get a match cut of mingi blinking, back to the darkness. i think it shows how quickly things can be taken away from you.

MAN THE SCENE WHERE THEY ALL GATHER TOWARDS HONGJOONG JAKJDSJKSDJKSD I CANNOT BREATHE IT GAVE ME SO MUCH CHILLS MYGODDOO !!!!!! like that scene in say my name. gotta love the build up of the song then it drops when the members all show up UGH I LOVED THAT SOO MUCH!! “the memories of short happiness. and dreams broken into pieces” brb gonna cry. the hourglass is finished,, what does this mean? ;o also i cant help but to notice the lighting on how one side is dark and the other has light. this could just be for aesthetics but idkkkk just another notice.

A Game of Love and Unexpected Turns

It was an average night in the Sanders house hold Patton having a conversation with deceit and Remy with Logan overseeing the conversation, while Virgil snuggled up to Roman wanting to sleep on him before Roman smiles and announce to the outher's that he would like to play a game of truth or dare. To why do you want to play Truth or Dare all of a suddenly Virgil asked, looking up at Roman questionly. I just thought it would be fun also I don't know that much about Remy and I would like to fix that. Ok kiddo but why truth or dare and not something like 20 questions Patton asked knowing there was a deeper reason as to why truth or dare specifically. I just thought it would be more fun for everyone else to play Truth or Dare Roman said quickly as if he had prepared a response before hand.ok then I have no objection as long as we try to remain a tad bit kosher Logan said knowing that if he didn't we would have someone playing 7 minutes in heaven though they probably change that to be 30 I can speak for myself when I say I'm going to keep it as kosher as possible, teach Roman said confidently. This will be a long post but also for anyone whos going thru a breakup rn, I'll type out everything that I wish someone told me before 😂

HOW TO WIN A BREAKUP

Ok so im gonna put shit that I know from expierence and as a psychology major so we have some gold hacks here on getting over a breakup 😏 First, I've personally had like quiete few breakups and honestly that FIRST ONE is ALWAYS the worst. If this is ur first breakup im rly sorry but its gonna suck for a while LMAO just remember that first one is the most painful but once you get over it its like antidote for life. No breakup will hurt that much as far as I know. Now lets start. U broke up youre sad, alone, crying, now what?

1. Call your friends. ALL OF THEM. I always felt my breakups before they happened and with this recent one I summoned all of my friends and they were all there with me before and after it happened. Venting helps and emotional support will be the first thing here. You are very vulnerable and sensitive right now and your emotions are all over the place probably. You're sad, angry, confused you wanna kill him all of that shit and having people there with who you can let out all those emotions is SO SO SO important i cant stress it enough. Dont bottle emotions D O N T its tempting but its toxic as fuck and it prolongs the healing. Buy junk food, have girls night, cry to your friends and talk about it until you don't feel need to anymore, cry more. Use all emotional support u can get, ur girls got u. BONUS TIP therapy helps alot. Ive been to therapy to help me sort my emotions out and its been super helpful. Remember also friends arent therapists, sometimes a professional help to guide thru emotions is the good choice too.

2. DELETE EVERYTHING you have that reminds you on them. I personally dont have hard time with it I know some people do but its also one of the most toxic things. Delete the pictures, chats, unfollow them block them even if u have to, mute, delete the songs that remind u of them. Literally erase their existence from your life. Due our brain not knowing difference between someone breaking up w us and someone dying pain we feel is intense and gets to point we feel physical pain. Memories trigger emotional responses and keep opening the wound. You need to heal. Patch it and let it heal. Dont poke it by seeing still things that remind u of them.

3. dO NOT STALK THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA. DONT DONT DONT. ITS LIKE DRINKING POISON EXPECTING THEM TO DIE??? What you could possibly find that will make u feel better??? Them posting that they miss you and want u back??? Nah sis, social media presence of people is so biased and its SO EASY to fake anything. You can misinterpret alot and you might also see stuff that will hurt u. Some of my exes (idk abt this last one tho bc I never stalked his social media since we broke up and im super proud on it) would post stuff that they know would hurt me or make me jealous or just some shady shit and you dont want to go in a place where u know someone just wants to hurt u. You are better than that. Protect your mental peace at all costs.

4. Journal. With this recent breakup I wrote like alot about it, i took my emotions and wrote paaaages. Let it all out. Draw abt it. Find ways to turn your pain in art.

5. DONT TEXT YOUR EX. CUT THEM OFF. its the best for you. You cant heal in a place you got hurt. If you wanna text them handle phone to ur best friend. I know whenever you are alone u will feel so lonely but trust me better call your friend than hit up ur ex LMAO We all still think we want our ex back even some time after breakup. We tend to idealize our exes in our heads and remember only the good times and stuff and then its just painful illusion. I know i did that alot with my exes so with this last one i decided to prevent it. Best way for that was to make a list of all the things he did that would hurt me, make me sad or mad and that i just didnt like abt him. Whenever I would feel im thinking I miss him I would read that list and see he wasnt so good and there was a reason that relationship ended. It will come to point u will see you werent happy and you will be slowly letting it go. He aint shit trust me.

6. Usually it takes 3 weeks for the worst symptoms of breakup to subdue bc our neurotransmitters need to balance again. Love is a drug and breakup is like withdrawal from cocaine addiction. Your body and mind will go through symptoms same as cocaine addict. Remember to be kind to yourself. Take care of yourself. I know for me issue was I would be like "get over it" and not allow myself to be hurt abt it. Be kind, you are going though huge emotional trauma and you deserve all the time and space to be hurt and feel it. DISCLAIMER; My family is Southern Baptist. So, I’ve written the wedding as it would happen in my church, to the best of my knowledge. If that bothers you, I'm sorry, but it was the most comfortable and easiest way for me to write it. Also, I'm sure I mixed things up but just go with it.

As Melissa stood, waiting for the music to start, she couldn't help but think about the events that lead to this moment. A slow smiled spread across her face as she thought about Seth and her relationship. Things hadn't been easy in the beginning. Matter of fact, they hadn't even really gotten along at the start.

Melissa sighed as she walked down the halls of the arena, heading for Hunter and Stephanie's office as she had been asked to do. She tried to shake the nerves as best she could but it wasn't helping. The last time they had called someone into their office at such short notice, it had been to fire them without reason. Being an intern commentator working under Corey Graves, she always worried when the bosses wanted to talk to her.

Reaching the door, she knocked gently. “Mr. and Mrs. McMahon?”

Once they called out a reply she slowly pushed the door open, stepping inside to see Seth Rollins already seated in front of the Mahogany desk. Stephanie smiled at her, standing beside her husband as she gestured for Melissa to sit as well.

”Come on in Melissa.” She smiled. “You're not in trouble or anything.”

Melissa exhaled and relaxed a bit, making her way over to the vacant chair before sitting down. Seth smiled over at her, shooting her a playful wink as she rolled her eyes.

She had heard all about Seth and his player ways. Shed never admit it to anyone else but she had always had a crush on him. Though, she knew better. Seth has a reputation that preceded him for being a notorious player. It was rare he was photographed with the same woman twice and had started to really tarnish the name of The Shield, let alone WWE.

”I'm glad you could join us Ms. Mclelland.” Hunter smiled up at her and she found herself returning it. “As you can see, this involves Mr. Rollins as well.”

She nodded and waited for them to continue. She already had an idea what this was about, most likely a storyline, but she didn't want to steal their thunder so to speak.

”I'm sure you're aware, Mr. Rollins has quite a reputation with the media. One we need to get a handle on before it ruins his career any further.”

Melissa raised her eyebrow. ”Yes sir, I've seen a few articles about his infidelity. I'm just not sure how I'm needed in this?”

Stephanie exchanged a look with her husband, a slow smile spreading across her face as she turned back to the two in front of them.

”Funny you should mention that Melissa,” she began, smirking at the pair. “we’d like Seth and you to engage in a romantic storyline, just for a few months until the heat dies down.”

If she had been drinking she, most likely, would have spewed it all over the desk as she raised her eyebrow once more. “E-Excuse me?”

”Seth has already agreed to it. We know its not ideal, however it would be very beneficial for the both of you. It could lead to an opportunity for you to gain a permanent place here with WWE and it would give the illusion Seth is cleaning up his act.”

She continued to look at her bosses, to Seth, back to her bosses. To say she was shocked would have been an understatement; she was completely blind sided.

Of course, after some thought and consideration, she had agreed. In the beginning, it had been rather rough. Seth wanted next to nothing to do with her and usually ignored her unless it was part of the storyline. Most of the time, she’d just talk to Dean and Roman who seemed to like her pretty well. No, it wasn’t until about eight months into the storyline that Seth began to change.

It was little things at first, such as his hand lingering on her lower back a little longer after promos and longing glances backstage. By then, the whole reason for the arrangement had worked itself out and there wasn’t a reason to keep it going. However, neither of them could bring themselves to end it.

The arrangement had begun in mid-January and it was in mid-August Seth asked on a first date; one that was because they genuinely liked each other, not because they had been told to do it. Seth had set the whole thing up, taking her to see one of their favorite bands; swaying to the music even though it was a heavier sound, not a care in the world.

Flashing back to the present, she found herself looking down at the Bring Me the Horizon bracelet he had bought her on that very date. It didn’t really match the matte black, deep V-neck, slight fit and flare, with an open quarter sleeve wedding dress she wore but she didn’t care. It would be her somethings old, having gotten it two years prior.

Beside her Becky Lynch, her ‘best man’ smiled reassuringly as the music started.

“Remember lass, count te five and follow me down. Take it slow as ye need, he’ll be waitin.”

Melissa smiled and nodded as Becky quickly hugged her, carful not to disturb the bouquet in her hands, before turning and starting down the aisle; all the guests already standing. As she counted to five and started down herself, her eyes scanned the alter, quickly scanning over Dean and Romans smiling faces before finding Seth. Their eyes locked, tears evident in the corner of his eyes as one rolled down her cheek. Suddenly, her nerves melted away and she wanted to run down the aisle, throw her arms around him, and kiss him. Thankfully, she refrained.

She spent most of the ceremony in a daze, until it came to the vows.

“Now, I believe the bride and groom have prepared their own vows, yes?’” The pastor smiled as he looked between them as they nodded. “Ms. Mclelland, you’ll go first.”

Melissa took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as she looked up at him.

“Seth, it is clear to me now, that everything in my life has led me to you.” She paused and sniffled lightly. “I think back on all of my choices and consider even the bad ones blessed. Only because, if I had done a single thing differently, I might never have met you and gotten the chance to become your wife.”

Seth smiled and lifted his hand quickly to wipe a tear threatening to roll down his face.

“Melissa, I promise to be there for you in cold winter mornings to warm you, on soft springs to watch our love grow, in our summers to play in the light of the sun, and in our autumn to kiss your fingers and say it has been worth it.” He smiled and stared lovingly into her eyes. “Every moment of our love.”

The pastor smiled again before gesturing for the rings, Dean stepping forward and handing them over.

“Melissa Mclelland, do you take Seth Rollins to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

I do.” She smiled as Seth slid the ring onto her finger.

Seth Rollins,” The pastor turned to look at him. “Do you take Melissa Mclelland to be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I do.” Seth nodded quickly, Melissa sliding the ring onto his finger where it would set for the rest of their lives.

“By the power granted to me, by the state of Iowa, I now pronounce you husband and wife.” The pastor smirked gently. “You may kiss your bride, Mr. Rollins.”

Seth smiled widely before cupping Melissa's cheeks, pressing his lips firmly and passionately to hers as the crowd erupted into cheers and claps.

They quickly made their way back down the aisle, followed by the wedding party, and headed for the reception. Since the ceremony had been inside, they opted for an outdoor reception, the setting sun and fairy lights they had hung lightly the small meadow perfectly. It was everything they envisioned and more as they moved through the light dinner and cake cutting. It wasnt long before it came to be time for the dance.

As Seth led her to the dance floor, an acoustic version of ‘Still into You’ began to play.

“Happier than I ever could have imagined Mr. Rollins.” She peered up at him and pressed an loving kiss to his lips as other couples joined then little by little on the floor.

“And you,” she beamed. “I’ll never get use to how good you look in a tux. We’ll have to thank Hunter and Stephanie again.”

Seth chuckled low in his throat as he too reflected on what had started their love story for a moment. It was true, he had made a lot of mistakes in his life, as everyone does. However, he no longer regarded them as mistakes, as they had led him to the love of his life. Instead, he thought of them as small blessings, thought he was too blind to see it at the time. Blessings he’d always be grateful for. As would she.

I was born in 1990 so i missed being a 1989 baby by 22 days and I’m kinda sad about it and then you brought out 1989 and now I’ll probably never get over it. My favourite thing in the whole world is music and writing! I get scared when i have writers block and literally go all woshwlwudiwjwushs for awhile and then I’m okay again. I’m a massive dork. I love a good deep and meaningful conversations. My favourite season is Autumn because all of the leaves have survived and fell naturally, they made it through all the storms and winds that could’ve taken them, but they made the choice to hang on… just like we all do! I drink too much coffee but also like who doesn’t? I love animals and I’m vegetarian and like 80% vegan… i just eat cheese… BUT IM WORKING ON CUTTING IT OUT! You and i are very similar and everyone you post a video i get so many texts from people saying that it reminded them of me! I’m a bit of a hippy and i have Crystals everywhere. I believe the most honest conversations happen in the middle of the night. If i stopped buying candles i could probably afford to go on a holiday around the world but i just can’t stop… also i love all things vanilla because it reminds me of baking. I live close to the city but also far enough away to catch my breath with the trees when i need it. I can’t have cats in my apartment where i rent and that makes me sad on a daily basis If i had a secret power it would be to take people’s pain away. Song Of The Week 19.01.07.

welcome!!~

first off, i’m really sorry about not posting last week, life got busy and i couldn’t find the time. good way to start off the new year, i know. i promise i’ll be good about posting from now on, as i’m going back to school and will (hopefully) be able to keep myself on a tighter schedule.

alright that’s over with! this week’s song is “Hoodie Season” by 3RACHA!

(if you were unaware, 3RACHA is a predebut subunit of skz consisting of Bang Chan, Han (jisung), and Changbin. i might make a more in depth post later on, and if i do i’ll link it here!)

UghuUGUHUHUGUhuhuH where do i start.

this very well may be my favorite 3racha song, right next to “Start Line”

first of all, changbin’s rap in the beginning? revolutionary. his voice sounds a little bit softer than usual, but that might just be me hearing things. either way, his flow never fails to impress me, and i think his diction goes perfectly with the tone of the song.

second? 2 words. j i s u n g ‘ s v o c a l s.

his voice is heavenly omg. we don’t hear a lot of jisung’s singing voice, especially not like this. it sounds gentle, cool, and relaxed, and it is literally like honey in combination with the flow of the song. it’s also nice to hear the contrast, because he sings the chorus as well as rapping his own verse, which i thought was a genius choice. this song is so soft, it matches beautifully with this side of jisung. and i have never been more bias wrecked in my life.

third? my man bang chan coming through with his sing-rapping that we all know and love. as well as his angelic voice singing “hey baby i’ll make you my lover” and basically professing his love and frustrations to his “baby” before saying “i was talking bout my hoodie” THE ULTIMATE POWER MOVE. Y’ALL THOUGHT MY MANS WAS IN LOVE?? IN LOVE WITH COMFORTABLE FASHION DAMN STRAIGHT

all jokes aside, this song is also lyrically one of my favorites. if you’re like me, and can’t speak korean and are only comprehending the english lyrics, you would think that our boys are talking about being in love n maybe giving their hoodies to their lovers?? after close inspection of the english translations, you’ll find that they’re talking about wearing their hoodies. literally.

at first, i thought, ‘hmp. that’s.....interesting. i mean i wear hoodies all the time, but idk what these fools are on.’ but, i did some thinking, and i settled on the idea that while they’re literally talking about their hoodies, they’re more referring to finding yourself, and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

hear me out, 3racha’s discography as a whole kind of eludes to that weird transition between being a kid and being an adult. jisung was only around 16-17, changbin was about 17-18, and chris was turing 20. they were all trainees, and they all were dealing with having found their passion, but not having any promise that they’d be able to pursue it. it’s feeling of a constant state of flux, which i think anyone from the ages 14-30 can relate to, and maybe that’s why it hits me so hard. their “hoodie” is their identity, they way that they view themselves and project themselves to the world. that’s why changbin talks about wearing it all year round, even if it’s uncomfortable, because wearing it still feels better than taking it off. and now that it’s hoodie season, he finally can wear it comfortably. he’s coming into is own, and he finally is starting to feel comfortable in his own skin, but he knows that it might not last, because his life/ career is just starting. jisung talks about how his hoodie matches the color of the sky, and his friends getting food and hanging out. the sky changes colors, as do the colors of his hoodie. this one’s a little less clear, but i feel that maybe he thinks he has to keep changing the way he portrays himself, to keep up with his friends or those around him, even though it might not be who he really is. him and his friends are on different paths, and he doesn’t know what to make of it. in addition, he feels his youth slipping. as an idol, you are forced to grow up so fast. (remember, jisung was only 16/17 when writing this) he talks about the morning, how the sky is grey, and it feels cold and uncomfortable, maybe this represents the new life he might be taking on soon, and the new “hoodie” he’ll have to put on to match the sky, or the life of being an idol. chris’s verses sound....older? he’s not dealing with exactly the same issues as jisung or changbin, but they are definitely similar. he talks about criticism, and learning to deal with people all wanting different things from you. he’s frustrated, but he isn’t going to give up. he likes his hoodie, and he’s comfortable in it, he’s not going to change because other people are making him feel like he should. i think i like this song so much because it relates directly to all the feelings i’m having, and it’s comforting to know that some of the most talented people i know have felt the same way at some point. even if i was totally off about all of that, i think the core message of the song is learning to be comfortable in your own skin, and finding a hoodie that fits you, knowing that it might not fit later. ugshhs i just love it so much, and chris is a genius.

Oh, Christmas Eve Sarajevo is just something incredible! and in general, you have a very cool selection of songs, they are very atmospheric. I really love Alan Jackson's album - Honk Tonk Christmas (my passion for country definitely did not go in vain haha) Tom Petty's version of Christmas All Over Again, Jethro Tull - Another Christmas Song and definitely it wouldn't be me if I didn't say that I love the version of Please Come Home For Christmas by Jon Bon Jovi 😂. By the way, Tom Keifer has a wonderful version of Blue Christmas!
