Hi:D i was lookign at your blog a whiel ago and isaw that you like(used to like?) The Mayor X Wukong, which was a ship i had never heard of before so thats cool, SO i wanted to know your opinion on ShadowPuppet(Macaque X The Mayor)!! I'm not really a shipper but i was curious:)))

Ya know I get a little giddy feeling whenever I get sent asks. I don't know I just like them.

That aside, I think ShadowPuppet is cool! I've seen that ship a couple of times and thinks it's chill. Would it be healthy? FUCK NO. But neither would Wukong x Mayor so it's okay. I think the idea of both Lady Bone Demons servents being together and toxic is a cool concept. Honestly I've seen more Wukong x Macaque x Mayor more then just Macaque x Mayor. Either way, I think ShadowPuppet is cool! If you ship it, keep rocking 🫶🏻

I remember I read a fic where Macaque and Mayor were together but both were like "Yeah your cool and everything, but your not Wukong." And that just makes me laugh.

Oh! By any chance are you talking about @sixears-macaque-yt??? I've seen it, yes! But very recently actually! I think it was only a few days ago, I was scrolling through the lmkmayor tag and I found it :DDD.

Shadowpuppet was never the most heartwarming ship to begin with, so I'm not surprised the blog doesn't quite have a healthy relationship between the two characters. But at least Macaque is, willing to stay in the Mayor's house XDDD??? Though it's a bit concerning given the fact that there are some elements of memories being blocked in Macaque's head (I... Think??? I didn't snoop around the lore of the blog much so I don't have a complete understanding of what's going on).

Ahh!! Same though!!! I keep wanting to ask about your old game-making class project and your animations and the OCs you've been posting and the other worldbuilding you were doing with OCs from however long ago in the shadowpuppet style. You have such amazingly cool art and ideas but I keep getting stuck at the wordsing part of all of that.

You might have noticed that I went through your art blog and just kept being like aw man... this is nice... oh, and this is nice... oh! and this is nice! and...

Your painting, lighting, compositions, concepts, designs are just so good. I'm particularly big fan of your abstract and bird designs, and have to agree with the choice of a shapeshifter bird sona. Very good, top quality if I do say so myself as someone who also partakes in the enjoyment of shapeshifter and bird creatures

Hello! Welcome to the Blue and Violet Ask Blog!

As you might have guessed, this is an ask blog where you can ask the Mayor (Blue) and Macaque (Violet) from LMK questions! However, before anything else, there are a few things that you need to know.

General House Keeping:

First things first, if you are not aware already, this blog is directly based and linked to the Blue and Violet Fanfiction series on AO3. Written by yours truly, me (admin/DF), haha! Link to the fic series is in the bio/under the header. If you want to ask questions, please make sure you are up to date with all the chapters in ALL the fics in the series.

What this means is that the only things Macaque and Mayor have experienced is within the context of this fanfiction series (which contains lots of establishment of how they know each other and their perspectives during seasons 1-4). Therefore, you definitely cannot ask these two about season five related things, because it hasn't happened to them yet!

Due to this, this blog will follow the timeline and events of what happens in the newest instalment of the series, 'Winter Mornings, Summer Nights' (previously, it was 'Colours'). After every chapter is posted, you will be able to ask Macaque and Mayor questions relating to that chapter or any events prior.

I must also state that this is a shadowpuppet ask blog. While I am open to any asks that involve mentions of other ships (which may involve either Macaque or Mayor) please keep in mind that shadowpuppet will be the main focus :))). If you don't like this and have a desire to assert your opinion regarding that? Then please, I kindly ask that you do not interact with this blog for your sake, my sake, and for the sake of everyone else who might want to enjoy this. Thank you :))).

IMPORTANT: Whatever happens in this ask blog is NOT canon to the fic series. However, what happens in the fic series directly affects this blog. This means that nothing you ask or say on this blog will affect the Blue and Violet storyline.

Regarding Asks:

I think I will be able to answer every question that you all submit. However, if I find a question too offensive, too uncomfortable, too strange (meaning I just don't understand it :'D) or something that will potentially spoil the future events of the fic series, then I will have to unfortunately ignore the ask. Either that, or I simply answer the ask with a silly picture of some sorts. On that note, please don't ask any character or me what will happen next! They probably don't know either! You'll all just have to wait and see ;D.

You can ask both Macaque and Mayor any questions you desire (within reason of course)! Any side character featured in Blue and Violet is also open to any questions :DDD!

Not only can you ask the characters questions, but you can also just ask me questions about the series in general? Or just... Say something I guess? I've had people do that on my main blog, and it always makes me happy to see that people like what I am writing!

I would also like to make a minor PSA regarding certain types of asks: Yes, you can give gifts to the characters! However it is very unlikely they will become a recurring object. Also, I have noticed that there have been cases where people have submitted asks either roleplaying characters (both canon and OC) and/or requesting interactions with canon/OC characters. Please know that while I haven't had a problem with doing these yet, don't expect me to come up with the perfect response for it XDDD, nor expect any sort of continuation of role play. After all, this ask blog, while being a separate entity in its own right, still follows the narrative of the fanfiction series.

IMPORTANT: After experimenting with the ask box, I have decided that the box will be open for 24 hours whenever it opens! This allows people from different time zones to have an equal chance to get something in if they want, haha. No cap limit on the box for now, just go wild (before I regret this)!

The only thing I think I can say is that I might draw some Shadowpuppet thing for Christmas???? But... That's probably it, haha. My capability to make content has been filled, like, by 70% from the ask blog I've been doing. So, yeah, maybe a silly Christmas doodle.
