I'm no psychologist but I have listened to 2 professionals diagnose Anakin with BPD. However you and @gch1995 think he has CPTSD. Can you say why? I'm not sure what the difference is.
Thanks for your ask @fanfic-lover-girl !
Now let’s get into it:
CPTSD is a point of contention for many psychologists. Some argue that CPTSD and BPD are really the same diagnosis, that BPD is an outdated diagnosis that should really fall into the PTSD spectrum. Other psychologist think they are separate disorders that may be comorbid. Still other psychologists do not thing CPTSD exists, but is rather just BPD in a milder form. CPTSD is not currently listed in the DSM5-5, and many people who are officially diagnosed with CPTSD were first diagnosed with BPD, yet suffered immensely from the stigma with many people believing they were born bad with no chance at redemption. Even their own therapists turned on them. For them, CPtSD helped them to get treatment from a trauma informed perspective. CPTSD and BPD have a lot of overlap even if you consider them separate diagnosis. Everyone will have a differing opinion based upon circumstances. To me CPTSD fits best because of Anakins long standing trauma over a long period of time, and a lack of a personality disorder as a child. Many people develops BPD as a trauma response, but depending on how you view the disorder it may also be considered something one is born with. I’ll never tell someone who headcannons that Anakin has BPD is wrong because to me they are so similar as to be almost the same. Many new psychologists have come to view BPD as a specific manifestation of CPTSD. So both could arguably fit Anakin. As a diagnosis, it is primarily diagnosed in women where as men are far more likely to have the same symptoms but be diagnosed with PTSD instead. This leads to the question of any bias on the part of the psychologists diagnosing. I have CPTSD on my chart, but my mother had BPD. We suffer from almost identical issues, but hers were more severe. I actually thought I had BPD until my therapist suggested CPTSD when I was in inpatient care.
Let’s get some definitions:
Complex PTSD
comes in response to chronic traumatization over the course of months or, more often, years. This can include emotional, physical, and/or sexual abuses, domestic violence, living in a war zone, being held captive, human trafficking and other organized rings of abuse, and more. While there are exceptional circumstances where adults develop C-PTSD, it is most often seen in those whose trauma occurred in childhood. For those who are older, being at the complete control of another person (often unable to meet their most basic needs without them), coupled with no foreseeable end in sight, can break down the psyche, the survivor's sense of self, and affect them on this deeper level. For those who go through this as children, because the brain is still developing and they're just beginning to learn who they are as an individual, understand the world around them, and build their first relationships - severe trauma interrupts the entire course of their psychologic and neurologic development.
Borderline Personality Disorder:
a personality disorder characterized by severe mood swings, impulsive behavior, and difficulty forming stable personal relationships.
Here is the obvious overlap:
Tumblr media
As you can see, the similarities are almost 50/50 with the dissimilarities, and arguably, if the trauma is sustained and experienced through abandonment or the person with CPTSD has enough of an identity disturbance they may also fear abandonment or suffer from dissociation, paranoia, or a shifting sense of self identity, and psychosis. I for example have suffered from all of these, but have been diagnosed with CPTSD. For some psychologists, BPD is simply a divergence of CPTSD. However this is hotly debated so don’t take only my word for it.
This paper says they are comorbid and almost the same yet distinctly different:
https://bpded.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40479-021-00155-9
This paper says they are the same and BPD is outdated:
https://bpded.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/2051-6673-1-9
This one is an opinion piece but still worth a read:
https://www.goodtherapy.org/blog/should-we-abolish-the-diagnosis-of-borderline-personality-1015134/amp/
TLDR: I don’t disagree with anyone who head-cannons Anakin as Borderline, Or with CPTSD, or both.

julieta's birth chart bc i was curious
SUN / TAURUS, 19°9'19" / FOURTH HOUSE
The sun determines your ego, identity, and "role" in life. It's the core of who you are, and is the sign you're most likely to already know. Your Sun is in TAURUS, meaning you are fundamentally stable, deliberate, and practical, though somewhat stubborn. Your sensual side takes comfort and pleasure very seriously—you appreciate nice things when they're useful and meaningful. People appreciate how reliable you are. It's in your fourth house, meaning you feel the need to distinguish yourself from others through your home and family.
ASCENDANT / AQUARIUS, 6°2'25" / FIRST HOUSE
Your ascendant is the "mask" you present to people. It can be seen in your personal style and how you come off to people when you first meet. Some say it becomes less relevant as you get older. It changes every two hours, so if it doesn't make sense, reconfirm your birth time to be sure. Your Ascendant is in AQUARIUS, meaning you come across as broadminded, intellectual, and prone to abstraction, though somewhat detached or abrupt in your dealings with the real world. Your unconventional interests may seem eccentric or pretentious to others.
MOON / CAPRICORN, 24°40'4" / TWELFTH HOUSE
The moon rules your emotions, moods, and feelings. This is likely the sign you most think of yourself as, since it reflects your personality when you're alone or deeply comfortable. Your Moon is in CAPRICORN, meaning your emotional self is somewhat repressed in the name of responsibility, seriousness, and rationality. You crave the guidance and comfort of a teacher or parent. It's in your twelfth house, meaning you find security and safety through privacy, secrets, and introspection.
MERCURY / TAURUS, 1°9'5" / THIRD HOUSE
Mercury determines how you communicate, talk, think, and process information. It also indicates how you learn. It is the mind's planet. Your Mercury is in TAURUS, meaning your intellect is extremely practical and deliberate. You stick with ideas that make sense to you once you've thought through them. People like to hear what you think because of how practical you are, though you may seem narrow-minded. Sometimes other people have a difficult time understanding you. It's in your third house, meaning you are curious about and inclined to analyze how you communicate, whether you really understand something, and all the things you don’t know.
VENUS / ARIES, 5°38'5" / SECOND HOUSE
Venus determines how and what you love. It indicates how you express affection and the qualities you're attracted to. Your Venus is in ARIES, meaning your romantic side is enthusiastic, impulsive, and direct. You fall in love quickly, and out of love just as fast. You tend to be forthright and direct with your crushes—even if you haven't confessed, you make a lot of inside jokes, touch them a lot, and maintain eye contact. You alternate between seeming demanding and disinterested in the relationship. It's in your second house, meaning that for you, love is often expressed in money and material possessions.
MARS / TAURUS, 16°33'39" / THIRD HOUSE
Mars is the planet of aggression. It determines how you assert yourself, take action, and the energy that surrounds you—particularly in your sex life, your ambitiousness, and when you're angry. Your Mars is in TAURUS, meaning you assert yourself in a way that is practical, concrete, and relaxed, and you push things forward stubbornly. You rarely make the first move. It's in your third house, meaning you put a lot of energy into the things you know and are familiar with.
JUPITER / CANCER, 0°54'24" / FIFTH HOUSE
One of the two social planets, Jupiter rules idealism, optimism, and expansion. It's also very philosophical. Your Jupiter is in CANCER, meaning you grow and find understanding through emotions, intuition, and care. It's in your fifth house, meaning you find success through romance, self-expression, creativity, and pleasure.
SATURN / PISCES, 26°39'36" / SECOND HOUSE
The other social planet, Saturn rules responsibility, restrictions, limits, boundaries, fears, and self-discipline. Your Saturn is in PISCES, meaning you struggle with your tendency to be a pushover, daydreaming, and your emotions. It's in your second house, meaning you have had difficulties with money and material possessions.
URANUS / VIRGO, 15°33'56" / EIGHTH HOUSE
Uranus stays in each sign for seven years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules innovation, rebellion, and progress. Your Uranus is in VIRGO, meaning other generations are shocked by your generation's diligence, analytical nature, perfectionism, and criticism. It's in your eighth house, meaning that for you, this manifests in rebelling against dated expectations about darkness, taboos, rebirth, sex, and transformation.
NEPTUNE / SCORPIO, 20°51'31" / TENTH HOUSE
Neptune stays in each sign for around fourteen years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules dreams, imagination, and the unconscious. Your Neptune is in SCORPIO, meaning your entire generation finds inspiration through passion, intensity, and darkness. It's in your tenth house, meaning that for you, this manifests in your ideal—verging on unrealistic and impractical—about success and responsibility.
PLUTO / VIRGO, 15°53'3" / EIGHTH HOUSE
Pluto stays in each sign for up to thirty years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules power, intensity, obsession, and control. Your Pluto is in VIRGO, meaning your generation's psyche is comparatively critical, perfectionist, methodical, intentional, and organized. It's in your eighth house, meaning you personally are transforming outdated taboos around darkness, sex, and transformation.

ASTROLOGY OBSERVATIONS-007
Tumblr media
Credit: @okuhle23
Hi guys, I've compiled all your asks into one astrology observation. Enjoy💕😊
☆Mars in the 7th house can mean that you have enemies who don't even try to hide how they feel about you, your enemies are direct and aggresive. Your romantic partners could be ambitious and confident in themselves.  ☆Pluto/Scorpio in the 10th means that you put a lot of effort into your job and public persona. You may hate losing, and you are really competitive. ☆Sun in the 12th house can mean that spirituality plays a large role in your life, you could be gifted spiritually (if you believe in that) or you could be great at manifesting things. You may also be foreign/different (in the area you live in) as 12th house represents faraway lands while Sun represents yourself/the ego. ☆Uranus/Aquarius in the 4th can mean that there are “irregularities” in your family. Like, your family isn't so traditional and they could operate differently than other families. Your family could also be accepting of different views, there may also be a lot of debating. An innovative family. Perhaps your mother has a job relating to technology. This is because 4th house represents mother/home while Uranus represents innovation and technology. ☆I've read a few posts saying that Venus in the 11th can mean that you have a great group of friends etc etc. BUT if it's negatively aspected, it can mean that your group of friends are ‘fake’. This is because Venus can show people-pleasing and fakeness in order to maintain the peace therefore resulting in a toxic friendship where nobody seems to like eachother. This placement can also mean that your friendship group is popular/well known. Your friends could have prominent Venus/Libra/Taurus placements in their charts.  ☆Scorpio/Pluto in the 5th house can mean that you enjoy having sex during your free time? This is because Scorpio represents sex and the 5th house can represent hobbies and pleasure. Your casual relationships (5th house) may also be transformative (Scorpio). You may also get too attached in casual relationships because Scorpio is a water sign that represents intensity, so you could avoid casual relationships and opt for long-term and stable relationships. ☆Mars in the 8th house can mean that you like to dominate in bed, this is because Mars is a ‘masculine’ planet and it represents leadership and confidence. ☆7th house represents open enemies because it opposes the 1st house (ascendant) which represents yourself, so anything that opposes you is your enemy (hope it makes sense).  ☆I've noticed that Pisces ascendant/Neptune in the 1st can adapt to all social situations, if they're around extroverts they can shift to match their energy and vice versa.  ☆Venus in the 4th house could have wealthy/financially stable parents, or their home could be aesthetically pleasing. This is because Venus represents luxury/wealth/beauty while 4th house represents the home. This can also apply to Libra and Taurus as they are Venus ruled signs.  ☆Aries/Mars in the 3rd can mean that most of your injuries were caused by a sibling, whether while playing or when you were mad at eachother.  ☆Virgo/6th house Venus can be quite picky about who they choose to date, they could have a very specific list of traits and characteristics that their romantic partners should have. These people can also be oblivious to their own beauty. ☆Mars in the 6th/Virgo can have a really small waist and might even have abs. this is because mars represents athleticism, while Virgo/6th house shows the stomach area. These people might also be sensitive to spicy food or they may enjoy it. ☆Capricorn/Saturn in the 7th house shows that you might not have many romantic partners. This is because Saturn represents restrictions, while 7th house rules partnerships. When you do get into a relationship, your partner could be older or more mature than you.  ☆Capricorn or Saturn in the 7th house can mean that people of authority can oppose you, your father might also kind of be your enemy. This is because 7th house shows your open enemies and Saturn represents the father/authority figures.  ☆Pluto trine/sextile ascendant
can mean that you are intense but in a way that makes people intigued by you. The effects of Pluto aren't so drastic because trines and sextiles are positive aspects. ☆Pluto square/opposite ascendant can mean that your aura is “overly” intense to the point where people are very intimidated by you, and can sometimes cause people to be afraid of you or avoid you if really badly aspected. This is because square/oppositions are “negative”/prominent aspects and can bring drastic changes onto whatever planets they are aspecting.  ☆Jupiter in Gemini can mean that you are really wise, because both Jupiter and Gemini represent intellect. You could also be good at multitasking, because Gemini is a dual sign and Jupiter in Gemini expands (Jupiter)the duality of Gemini. (hope it makes sense). ☆Sun conjunct Moon can mean that your confidence(Sun) is dependent on your emotions(Moon). People see in your demeanor how you are feeling. You can be a kind, caring individual. This is because Sun represents the self while Moon represents emotions. ☆Totally random but, Pisces/Neptune/Cancer/Moon in the 2nd have tend to have babyfaces and may be perceived as cute by others. This is because 2nd house rules the cheeks (not those cheeks🙄) and Pisces/Neptune/Cancer/Moon are 'feminine' planets and signs. ☆Mutable signs(Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius,  Pisces) in the 2nd house can mean that your self-worth fluctuates because mutable signs are dual, therfore resulting in duality of emotions. This is because 2nd house rules self-worth while the mutable signs are changeable. ☆Cancer/Moon in the 6th can have a close emotional bond with their pets. Might have emotional support pets or moody pets? This is because Cancer/Moon rules emotions while 6th house represents pets. ☆Mars/Aries in the 6th house can work in a dangerous environment, or they may just face a lot of competition in their work environment. This is because Aries/Mars represents aggresion while 6th house can show one's working environment. ☆Pluto square Moon in transit can mean that you will go through a transformation/death of your past self. You may work through past traumas and hidden emotions. This is because Pluto represents death/rebirth while Moon represents your emotions.

All about Earth element 🍃🌱
Tumblr media
Important: This post is not made to offend anyone! These are my thoughts coming from personal experience and I don't engage anyone with them!
You've probably heard of the Earth element from various sources - Astrology (Western, Vedic), Chinese culture and philosophy, film and anime production (Avatar: The last Airbender, Naruto...), Ayurveda, Tarot and so on.
Tumblr media
In my opinion the element Earth is the most undiscussed and neglected regardless of the aspect - astrology, pop culture etc. I planned to make a post about its importance, so here we are.
Keywords for the 4 elements in astrology:
Fire (Aries,Leo,Sagittarius) -> Confidence, passion
Air (Gemini,Libra,Aquarius) -> Ideas, intellectual development
Water (Cancer,Scorpio,Pisces) -> Sensitivity, intuition
Earth (Taurus,Virgo,Capricorn) -> Ground, stability
Everyone is influenced by their energy in the chart. But why is Fire the most talked about and Earth - the opposite? (In my opinion, I don't engage anyone with it). Because of their mutually exclusive qualities, namely the fiery desire to seek attention and the earthy desire to hide from attention. You know that in 90% of cases the fire signs just attract recognition from others at any price subconsciously, sometimes actively looking for it. Why? The fire energy needs someone to support it, because that's the essence of its existence - without attention and praise their fire will just die. That's most important for fire signs, to have somebody telling them how great they are. Therefore it's completely normal for them to attract all the attention and applauses. I link fire energy with the highest point of extraversion. On the other hand earth signs don't really care about attention seeking, often times they even avoid it. And there's a reason for that. That's not something vital for their functioning process. Earth doesn't need to be told how great and amazing it is because of its stable nature and deep knowledge about the environment. Earth signs have the ability to think rational and soberly, so they know their place in the hierarchy of the modern world (always staying on the ground, but their mind has the potential to reach the highest level of intelligence). I'm really fascinated by their humbleness, totally opposite of the fire energy. People view earth signs as boring and snobby and that's because of their introversion. These people's inner world is so rich, beautiful and interesting, but it's only for them and their small cycle to see. They're not like the fire signs, who are so open with everyone. The reason why I don't like people with dominant fire personality is because they seem one layered. Maybe this comes from how open they are, maybe from their frivolous behavior, which makes them look arrogant and shallow, I don't really know. Introverted people (earth and water) have mystical air around them, they don't let all their thoughts and secrets out and I find that way more intriguing.
Some good traits of earthy people worth mentioning
Calm and collected exterior, with often differs from their interior, but they manage to keep their cool in any situation and that gives them great strength.
Great emotional control

Straightforward in a good way
Don't make compromises with their own self. Always true to themselves
Everything has a good and bad side, lets take a look
Unhealthy perfectionism
Too bosy sometimes, because some people around them don't understand how structure works; also because of their controlling issues
Bottling up emotions and letting them out to friends and family
Cold when frustrated or angry
Often homebodies which can be a problem sometimes
Sometimes their calmness annoys people
Can appear like "bookworms" and"snobs"
Often have reasonable trust issues
Tips for communicating with eartg people
ALWAYS BE ON TIME! They love punctuality more than life itself
Avoid small talk with them. They'll like deeper conversations for sure
Don't bring up how shy and silent they are. They're like this, so if you don't like it just leave

Don't let their serious image trick you! They are amazing people, just won't let you in that easily.
