BUT in the spirit of "the rock disease is only inside her mouth" I feel that for it to be really easily visible by other people it'd mean the originium would have had to replace / grow over her teeth & gums ??? Because otherwise it'd be easier for her to hide it like... how often do you see the inside of someone's mouth...

I imagine there would be some scars from cutting herself over the rocks inside her mouth ???

Took the time to finish Rena's page to go alongside Lana's uvu

Through drawing all of this I had the realization that nowadays I struggle a lot more to draw Rena "quickly" - which is the complete opposite of how things were years and years ago when I first started developing her and Lana (back then it has soooo much trouble drawing Lana 'like in my head'...)

I think one of the reason for this is that I am now a lot more... specific about how I want Rena to look ? And getting her vibe right is. So. Fucking. Hard. x,) Hopefully it'll become easier again as I get used to drawing both of them more again...

A small Qalaari doodle to explore some fits options for when we were "invited" (held hostage) in the manor of a Vampire Lady (who happened to be the grandmother of one of our group member :^)c delicious drama ensued... for multiple sessions...)

I ended up going for the left one as it was closer to Qalaa's comfort zone. The right one was more planned for if we ever managed to get to "the ball scene™ " but sadly we kicked ass too early for that and managed to escape/

(I say escape but we, somehow, managed to kill the elder vampire lady... it was... a difficult fight.)

Oh boy... please, for the sake of everyone involved please do NOT give this woman pets to take care of... She can barely be assed to take care of her flesh prison and so tends to be a husk of a human that only care about acquiring knowledge & doing mad scientist shit in her garage 40 (good days) to 85 (bad days) percent of her time... Honestly if Rena and her other friends weren't around I do not know how she'd not starve to death because she pushed eating down her priority list for 5 days in a row and now she doesn't have the energy to go get food or because her heart finally gave out after her 98th cup of coffee without anything else consumed in-between in the past 3 days.

For the sake of humoring more of the ask and theme though, if she does not have to care for it and only gets the upside of enjoying a little critter's company, I think Lana would be very partial to :

Snakes ! They don't move around a lot and feel nice so she'd love keeping them hanging around her while working / studying and they'd probably love being on her because she always runs hot. Also she'd love their little tongue poking out to sniff around, very cute... they honestly probably remind her of Rena too so that's even more added bonus.

Cats... AS LONG as they understand the very hard rule that the desk is off limits. There is too much either fragile, precarious or dangerous shit going on up there... But she would absolutely enjoy curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a kitty on her lap to read.)

Aaaand not much more x,) Aesthetically she appreciates birds but they are far too stinky and dirty for her... and Rena would probably have a (well trained) dog so Lana appreciates it too but it's just not her thing... Still cute though.

I am a pro multishipper so I ship her with everybody hahahaha I also haven't played enough of the game to properly grasp her respective dynamics with all the other npcs, so I'm still holding my horses for now on 'who I ship her most with'. But it will come in time >:^D

Feeling bits and pieces of Lana & Rena's story fall into place these past weeks/months since I've started to re-think about them is so satisfying.... I really wanna find something better than the first/old version of their dynamic ! (I don't blame young me, I didn't know any better back then haha) There's still a lot of weird spots and events & changes to figure out (especially their order of arrival) but it's so so fun thinking about them again aaaaa, I missed my messy girls so much
