RFA and V and Saeran on their first date with MC

(AN: Sorry for not posting more art than writing this last while. I’ve been having fun drawing stuff for Mystic Messenger, and I haven’t gotten any requests or anything and sometimes I struggle with coming up with non-self-indulgent ideas for stuff ;; I would really love some requests, and I am also (at the time this is posted) trying out match-ups if anyone wants one ^^ The characters might be a bit OOC in this because, as I always remind y’all, I’m only half way through my second route so I don’t know the characters all that well yet really. This is just a little thing I kinda wanted to write ^^. Hope it’s alright!)

Zen

Because it’s just the first date (and he is really hopeful that there will be many, many more) he will take you out somewhere quite calm so he can just talk to you and get to know you properly

Has loads of questions for you. The conversation flows the entire time. Even if you’re not the best at talking, this boy knows exactly what to do and say. He can easily relax you if you’re nervous

Flirts with you the entire time. He will speak entirely in pick up lines for a while just to make you laugh or smile. “Zen, we’re literally on a date, you don’t need to use pick up lines.” He’ll just pout at you and then continue a bit later

You go off on a tangent talking about something, and he will probably just sit and stare and you and he falls in love pretty fast. You catch him staring and he’ll turn his head away, blush, then look at you, his eyes full of adoration as he tells you how cute you are (anyone can be cute regardless of gender <3)

If you deny it, oh shit, he’s gonna go off on one telling you how amazing you are. Like, you will have to tell him to stop eventually because he will not stop talking for a long, long time

He won’t smoke for as long as possible during the date, or he’ll make sure to excuse himself because he doesn’t want you to be anywhere near the smoke. Tbh, when you start dating, he’ll probably try to stop smoking altogether. With all his determination and with you by his side, it’d make it a little easier on him, but you know it’s still going to be a bit of struggle for him. Give him loads of hugs pls

Will walk you as far as he can to the apartment and will give you a very gentle, sweet goodbye kiss, with promises of another date soon. As soon as you leave, he’s already planning it out. Boy loves you so much

Yoosung

You either end up going to a park, to a funfair, or to an arcade/bowling alley. For this, I’ll be writing the arcade/bowling alley

You both agree to meet there, and you see him before he sees you. He’s on his phone, biting his lip and leaning his head down. You walk over to him and he looks up and this adorable smile forms on his face as his eyes light up. He gives you a hug in which he lightly squeezes you (“oh god, I’m sorry, I’m just so happy to see you!”) and you both go into the arcade

He’s so excited it radiates out from him, but he’s also a little nervous because he wants you to see him as cool and he’s terrified to act at all like a child, because he’s fed up of being seen as one rather than being seen as a man

Hold his hand and he will melt. He’s not all that fond of PDA but hand holding is A+. His face goes bright red and he has this tiny little smile on his face as he glances at you then immediately looks away

You do bowling first. He’s not the best at it, but it’s really fun and you both have a good laugh. Bumpers for extra fun, and so that he’s at least able to hit one pin

He still misses the pins a lot

Then you both get to the machines and omg. He’s just so happy and so excited because he gets to play games with the person he loves and oh did he say that out loud? Shit

You think he can’t get any more red but prepare for him to literally become a tomato (say goodbye to your boyfriend he is a tomato now) if you ask him to repeat what he just said or make any comment on it whatsoever

He’ll stutter out that he just thought since you had both said it in the chat room and on the phone he might as well say in person that he does feel that he loves you. Then he changes the topic by pointing and running over to a claw machine or something to win you a plushie (stuffed teddy)

Obviously he doesn’t have much money – he’s a student, so he won’t go on too many machines after that. You both leave, wincing in the bright day light, and he’ll give you a hug and a small kiss goodbye as you both part ways

He’ll text you later saying how much he enjoyed the date and being with you and stuff. He is very cute and sweet and sappy

Jaehee

Coffee date. She doesn’t have much time so you meet up near her workplace and you both go to a little café and get tea/coffee (coffee for her, obviously)

She’ll make polite conversation with you. Do not ask her about work, she will list off all the things she has to do and you will get overwhelmed by the amount of things that she has to do because there is just so much and how does she keep track of it all?

You’ll end up admiring her as she talks though, the way she’ll push a strand of hair behind her ear every now and then and she slightly uses her hands as she talks. She focuses on her cup most of the time as she talks, taking small sips every now and then

And then suddenly she glances up and meets your eyes and her voice falters a little and just... how is she so beautiful? You feel your cheeks flush as you glance down at your own cup and take a sip of your drink

She asks you loads of questions, making sure not to talk about herself too much. She won’t ask anything too personal, and if you seem to not want to talk about something she picks up on it right away and changes the topic. She’s very observant and she makes a mental list so that she knows not to bring things up again

Honestly she’s just an amazing girlfriend and she’ll ask at the end of the date if you want to meet up again, same time next week? It becomes a weekly thing and the people in the café get to know you both well and they really like you both

(Going outside the first date thing a bit) After a few weeks of hugs rather than goodbye kisses, you’re going to have to be the one to kiss her. She doesn’t really like PDA though (she’s totally fine if it’s just you two) so maybe not in or right outside the café. She’ll blush a bit and smile at you and hug you tight after though

Gentle kisses on the cheek from then on every time you meet up as she greets you with a hug

Jumin

He’s gonna so take you to a fancy restaurant. If you don’t like the idea at first, he’ll convince you somehow. “I just want to take you out as a nice treat, after all you’ve been through recently.” He’ll be a bit scared of you getting hurt so he’ll have body guards close by at all times, but not too close

Keeps up a steady conversation, but for a bit he struggles to not make it too formal. Eventually he relaxes a bit (after a glass or two of wine lol) and starts chatting more freely

Tiny little smiles every time you laugh or giggle. He’ll chuckle to himself and sip his drink

Looks at you with such an intensity at times that you just can’t help but blush. He’s just admiring you, but eventually he has a mild look of amusement in his eyes

When he relaxes fully, he might tease you a tiny little bit. He’ll be very careful not to upset or hurt you, it’s just how he is (I think Jumin is the kinda person that likes to wind people up a bit, but he really likes MC so he won’t go too far with it, yknow?)

Pays for the meal no matter what you say. He’s rich, and anyway he likes treating you

After the meal, he’ll thank you for such a lovely time, and he’ll take your hand and kiss it before pulling you in for a proper kiss

Says he can’t wait until next time, and gets a driver to leave you off somewhere close to the apartment. He’ll message you to make you got home safely and such, and he’ll thank you again for a nice day, telling you that he really enjoyed seeing you

Seven/Saeyoung

He’s not the best with being in social situations so honestly he’ll probably invite you over to his if you’re comfortable with that, or he’ll take you to the cinema. He prefers for you to go to his house though, because he wants it to just be the two of you (and Saeran, but he’ll probably prefer to stay on his own in his room or something whilst you’re over and whilst you two are on a date)

‘Cooks’ you a meal which he intended to have set out on the table when you got there, but it didn’t go to plan so he ordered in pizza. He didn’t know which kind you liked, so now he has quite a lot of pizza. Hope you like pizza. He’s gonna make you take one home with you

Settles down on the sofa with you and chats away, making loads of jokes and non-stop puns. At some point, he’ll leave the room to go to the bathroom, and he’ll come back wearing cat ears, watching as you laugh as him. He decides at that moment that he will do literally anything he can to make you laugh

Will put on whatever movie you want. You want a sappy romance film? A shitty comedy? A bloody horror film? He’ll literally get anything you want to watch

He’s a bit nervous but he suppresses it completely so it’s barely noticeable. Slightly shuffle over to him, and he’ll put his arm around you and pull you closer, smirking and winking at you jokingly

If you’re watching a horror film and you get at all scared, he’ll promise that Seven Oh Seven, the Defender of Justice, is here to protect you. Burrow your head into his chest/shoulder and he’ll kiss you on the forehead and laugh, but he won’t tease you (too much)

And then he gets caught off guard ‘cause he’s too busy watching your reaction or because a bug comes on screen and he screams and claps a hand over his mouth. You can faintly hear Saeran laugh from his room as Saeyoung keeps his hand covering his mouth. You look up at him and you both burst out laughing, and now it’s your turn to tease him

After the movie’s over he’ll walk you to the door, wrap his arms around your waist, and kiss you goodbye. He offers to collect you from the apartment next time if you want, and then makes a few more jokes before closing the door and turning around, pressing his back to the door and sliding slowly down until he ends up sitting on the floor, bright red, covering his face and the massive grin spreading across it. What a goof

V/Jihyun Kim

His sight isn’t so good so he can’t go to a movie or anything, so he suggests a walk in the park. You both meet up and he greets you with such a beautiful smile that just melts your heart. This boy is amazing and trustworthy and he has such a kind heart and you can tell this all just from that smile. And its genuine too!

Immediately greets you with a hug, wrapping you in his arms and holding onto you tight. When you pull back he has a light blush on his face and he’s still got that amazing smile and just wow

Holds your hand as you both walk. It’s honestly helpful for him with his eyesight, and means he doesn’t have to rely on his cane as much

Animals love him. You pass someone with a dog and the dog immediately comes to greet him. He’s quite good with them too, leaning down to pet them and he even talks to them

Kids also love him. They get really happy if he returns a ball or something they’ve accidentally thrown/kicked your way, and they’ll come up to him and ask about his hair and his eyes and stuff and he’s so gentle in his responses to them

Okay just everyone loves him. Literally everyone (except Yoosung lol). Anyone you pass greets you both with kind smiles and a ‘hello’ and he’s so good with everyone and oh my god he’s perfect

He compliments you the entire time, and listens intently whenever you speak. Like Jaehee he makes sure to ask you plenty of questions, and he’ll admit at one point that he loves listening to you talk

If you hadn’t already fallen in love with him, you will have by the end of the date. He walks you back to your car or your bus stop or whatever and he gives you a quick kiss and tells you he had a great time, and that he’d love it if this could be a regular thing. Gives you another quick kiss before leaving

Unknown/Saeran

You’re both meeting up at an ice cream parlour. He’s found one that’s quite nice and pretty without being too packed with people, because he’s not so keen on being around a lot of people at once at the moment

He’s on edge when you arrive, leaning against the wall with his shoulders hunched a bit and his hands in his pockets, staring off into the distance. When he catches sight of you, he lets out a sigh and visibly relaxes

He isn’t so big on physical affection yet, so he doesn’t hug you on greeting, just nodding instead and asking if you want to go inside

Inside, he’ll take you up to the counter and let you choose whatever flavours you want. He knows all the best flavours, so when you both sit down with your ice creams, he’ll talk about that for a bit so that he has something to talk about

It takes him a while to relax, and you realise he’s just not all that talkative in general. You end up both eating your ice cream and sitting in a comfortable silence at times. You’ll both keep up a comfortable level of chatter, and you’re both contented with it

After you’re both done your ice creams, you go out on a walk around the area

Neither of you are too confident in prying too much into the other’s pasts, simply because you don’t want to make each other uncomfortable, but if you open up about stuff or talk about any hardships and stuff he’ll immediately admire you like 10x more.

He might open up a little bit himself. He also apologises for tricking you when he caused you to go to Rika’s apartment in the first place, and for everything bad that happened afterwards

You tell him it wasn’t his fault and that its okay, and you can see him thinking as he glances at you continually. Eventually, he ends up holding your hand as you walk, which makes you smile a little. You can see the tiniest hint of a smile on his face too

You both wander about until it gets dark, not really doing much, just enjoying each other’s presence. You’re both in a pretty secluded area when you say your goodbyes, and he suddenly kisses you. It’s quite a forceful kiss, and he pulls back and looks at you, smirking lightly. That was one hell of a first kiss (next time he kisses you, it’s the complete opposite – it’s super gentle and careful)

Says goodbye as he leaves you off wherever you need left off at (good writing, A+), and nervously asks if you’d like to meet up with him again sometime soon. If you say yes, you can see his eyes light up a bit as he gives you a gentle smile and kiss on the cheek. He watches you leave, before turning around and going on his way too, and he genuinely feels a lot happier after being out with you

 (AN: I was like ‘oh I’ll just do a bit of casual writing before I go sleep’ and it’s been like an hour and a half/two hours that I’ve worked on this – overall this is almost 3000 words with the notes, and wow. I expected this to be super short and it’s my longest yet. Again, I hope it’s okay and is worth reading ;; Take care ^^)
