eldritch horror boyfriend in the modern world…

General info about the au:

- Koby is eldritch entity disguised as a human..!!! He wants to live a normal life in the city but Luffy is making it hard for him to keep his disguise up

- Luffy is oblivious to the fact that Koby is a monster with a human skin (though when he finds out Koby is not a human he still accepts him!!)

- Both of them are young adults.. Maybe in their early 20s

- Luffy thinks of Koby as a normal guy - a bit of a wimp but a lovable and loser kind (affectionate)

- Koby appears as a blurry figure in every photo and video he’s ever caught in (he is beyond human comprehension)

That’s all I got so far!! There’s not much of a plot to this au, just Kobylu drabbles!!

Dark Moon: The Blood Altar Theory Based on the “Fever” Music Video

Part V

A few things I can’t yet explain:

Sunghoon leaning on the doors leading to the altar. Is that the “throne” Jake sings about?

Also, why is the hypnosis necklace in his mouth?

There are a lot of shots focusing on hands throughout the MV. Why?

Not sure about Heeseung's solo scenes. Mostly because my brain fries when I see them but I think it’s either just us being blessed but it may tie into the intense emotion,like when he’s deeply breathing and staring into the camera!.?/$).?/?/!/?@&&/, curling into a ball, and getting up abruptly.

I’m a bit suspicious of both Sunoo and Ni-ki’s characters.

Heeseung is safe, he’s too much of a main character to be suspicious. Very transparent guy.

Jay does not strike me as a plotting character at all so… he’s impulsive and stubborn when it comes to things he is upset about, so I don’t think he fits the profile of someone to come up with some elaborate scheme. Very honest and straightforward.

Jake is too wholesome in a very genuine way, I can’t explain it but he’s also not suspicious.

Sunghoon is safe too, I feel like he is trying to figure out his identity as a hybrid(?) creature and what powers come with it, and his tsundere (sorry it’s the best way to describe it) personality makes me think he’s a bit insecure. Definitely one of the most fascinating characters to me.

Jungwon is like… perfect (just like he is in real life 🥰). I can’t explain it but he seems balanced and rational. I don’t think he’s suspicious at all.

Sunoo is a bit suspicious to me because I feel like he doesn’t let on as much as he knows. I can’t fully explain it, but it’s just… odd (THE CHARACTER. NOT THE REAL DUDE‼️). Sometimes, I feel like his excessive sweetness in the webcomic might be a façade.

As for Ni-ki. There’s all the stuff I talked about before, but something else I wanted to bring up is the Bleeding Darkness performance by him and Jungwon.

Although it’s not considered canonical lore, at least not officially, it’s obviously inspired by their vampire concept. Ni-ki kills Jungwon like 5 times during the dance 😭😭

I just thought it was a bit… scary. It’s even worse if you consider Wonki are besties in Dark Moon, they literally don’t show up until we’re several chapters in cause they only spend time with each other.

Once again, I love Ni-ki’s character, but I’m suspicious of him…

Interestingly enough, I heard from someone who has read the web novel that the other vampires (bad guys) are mostly threatened by Sunki. Which brings me back to what I stated at the very beginning, I don’t think Sunki (or just Ni-ki or Sunoo or anyone else for that matter) are plotting against their brothers maliciously, but rather to protect them from other, sinister things.

Lastly: yes, I think Chris, or his impostor, or the prince (Chris?) Sooha is arranged to marry before Day One, is Dardan. Hahaha

Hi, I know he is not in your list but after what happened in the webcomic I need some happy hcs for Doctor Kuseno. Not a x reader, just hcs about him, the pour man deserved better. :(

Hi anon yes ofc!! Honestly same man that chapter is just pain 😭

He was so kind and selfless, why do people like that always get hurt the most? I hope you like them (I added a bit of Genos here too because he is like a grandson to him), we really do need some serotonin after all that 💗

-Although he is very hard-working and constantly pursuing new ways and methods to help Genos and the rest of humanity, he does try his best to engage in some actual relaxing activities

-Poor man loses sleep way too often because of Genos’ recklessness, he really needs a break

-Walking in nature and enjoying the scenery is an excellent method for relaxation, and he uses it whenever he can

-It’s nice not having to worry about anything even for a brief moment, just staring at the treetops and listening to all those cute birds chirping happily

-Maybe he even has a notebook to write down all the species he saw and their behaviors

-More than once a few birds landed on his head as if it were a nest or something sjsjdjssjk but hey he’s used to it

-Now that I think about it it’s kinda wholesome

-Though if he doesn’t have the time or if the weather is nasty, a good book is just as enjoyable

-Loves mysteries, historical fiction and it goes without saying he adores sci-fi

-Speaking of which it wouldn’t be surprising if he wrote a book or two himself, probably about all the scientific research and conclusions he’s made over the years

-From a young age he loved reading, and seeing so much writing evolve and develop into new things is rather pleasing and fascinating

-Finds inspiration from there. After all it’s an endless ocean of knowledge

-He could read a pretty mediocre or crappy book and still find things in there that were worth reading

-More than once he’s wished for a reality where he and Genos live peacefully without constant threats (totally didn’t cry when I read that part in the chapter ahaha..)

-After he saved Genos’ life sure they have been through a lot and worked together closely, however they had moments where they could just sit-back and enjoy life too

-Honestly the only thing that could soothe Genos’ nerves at that time was Kuseno’s fatherly, caring demeanor

-After a long, tiring day the doctor telling Genos stories from his past (both the inspiring and tense ones) while the latter listens oh so attentively

-Thinking about it now, it’s rather bittersweet

-And even later on, despite both having busy schedules (this refers to our blond cyborg more, especially since his hero registration) Dr. Kuseno does try to spend some quality time with him if possible

-Also, Kuseno may have even had a journal to write down his adventures, mostly from his early age of course

-Looking at that journal and living through those adventures again from time to time is something he enjoys

-Genos read some of them too, and they definitely gave him more inspiration and resolve to reach his goals. After all, the doctor is one admirable person
