i feel like a major difference between the US and UK ghosts is that the US one feels, idk how to put it, more focused on the fact that theyre ghosts? the world of it, the experiences, the ghosts that are outside of the main setting, their powers, their pasts, them wanting to move on... and the UK ghosts feels more like theyre just people from different backgrounds all stuck in a house with only one person who can see them, but all that other stuff was kinda barely a thing. they didnt even dwell very long on mary moving on as opposed to when the same thing happened with flower where they made a big deal out of it lol
