I am imagining the chaotic mother/daughter chase ensuing at this cookout while Karl is profusely sweating at the grill, aggressively pressing on the hamburger patties and frantically thinking of how he’s going to lie and get out of responsibility.

This is even funnier if this is a scenario where he has his powers because theoretically he could just yoink the knife out of her hands without lifting a finger but he just.
