Alright now that its officially Forzen Friday let's try this post again since it didn't show up in the tags last time-

I'M FINALLY MAKING A FORZEN HC DUMP (kinda AU-ish territory but not really idk exactly) AND NONE OF YOU CAN STOP ME

There are also a few other hcs sprinkled in here related to other characters (like Darnold and Sunkist for example) but Forzen is the main focus!! Despite him being a minor character I latched onto him and fleshed him out sm yall have no idea

Everything under the cut bc this shit is gonna be LONG (and there's also some more doodles that take up a bit of space!)

Also uhh if people like this I might take one for another hlvrai character later bc I have a lot to say about everyone!!

Forzen moved from France to the US with his parents when he was around 12 or 13 (yes, I'm aware that Scorpy and Holly are French Canadian and not France French but that doesn't mean Forzen can't be, I'm just being sure to say this now before someone says something to me about it)

He wanted to go to college and eventually become a game dev, but he didn't have the funds or the support for it (his family thought anything to do with games would amount to a career that would go nowhere).

Because of this, he instead was recruited in the US military. He originally had no intent to join, but after constantly being harrassed recommended to join and being entertained with the concept of being able to afford and pay for college, he caved (hence him telling the science team that his only goal is "to graduate").

He doesn't like his job very much if that wasn't clear.

And neither do most others that have the same job like him.

He was put on a "team" of his own, Team Nice, which was likely arranged as a guaranteed way to get Forzen in the way of danger, and with no one else fighting beside him, he would be easily dealt with- no one would have to worry about him bothering them again. However, he somehow manages to survive all of this, of course. Somehow. He likely knows the real reason he was assigned his own team (if you can even call it that), but refuses to fully acknowledge it for his own sanity, and instead pretends that he's some big, important person on a team that ranks so highly, he's the only one qualified to be in it. (I apologize ahead of time for giving one of the most shitposty and throwaway characters in hlvrai this much depth and angst, there was just potential there leave me alone)

Fast forward to the actual events of hlvrai though. This hc is a little outlandish but I really like the concept!!! So, at one point, Forzen is killed, presumably by some kind of creature that was out and about due to the RenCas. The science team + Benrey stumble across him (act 2 part 2 at around 13 min in for anyone curious), and Benrey decides to use the healing beam Sweet Voice on him. While Benrey and Forzen may not be on good terms anymore, Benrey still very begrudgingly cares about him and didn't want to see him get injured or die. Forzen wakes up a minute or so after the science team exits the room, assuming that he just passed out, nothing more, and goes along with things as normal.

He meets Darnold a while after his first (concious) run in with the science team. Darnold has recently dealt with the science team and helped them out, but is pretty bummed that he couldn't travel with them, as everything was far too scary and dangerous for him. Forzen, wanting to escape Black Mesa and the military altogether, ends up making a deal with him that he'll handle all the dangerous stuff if Darnold can show him a way out.

Now, meeting Darnold is a very new experience for him, since Darnold actually enjoys his company, and actually wants to befriend him! At first, Forzen openly tries to act as if Darnold is a huge deal to put up with- he goes along with with the whole "if you're escaping outta this hellhole with me, you better keep up" kinda deal (despite the fact that he kinda NEEDS Darnold to escape and show him the way out). His walls are still very much so raised, and he doesn't let his guard down as he's not used to others caring about him and his safety. But as time passes, he begins to realize that maybe Darnold DOES want to be his friend, and the tough guy act becomes less apparent.

To preface this next one- Sunkist sensed that something was up (he has a next-level sense of danger when it comes to Tommy's safety) and got to BM as fast as he could, searching every hallway for his boy. This is when Forzen finds him!! He figures that taking Sunkist as a hostage would be enough to get extra info out of the team that's been practically plaguing him lately.

Darnold doesn't know about Forzen's plans to take Sunkist hostage, so is completely fine with traveling alongside him. At one point though, Forzen and Darnold get separated (Forzen occupies him, makes sure hes safe and then runs off to deal with Sunkist). Darnold immediately uses his surroundings to model a quick little teleporter device to get Forzen back, because, you know, the man's a genius. Idc if its logical or not just go with it shhh I've gotta fill in the plotholes with something. That's why Forzen disappears all of a sudden after he's cornered by the science team. He just pops back in front of Darnold suddenly, all confused and loopy from the whole teleportation thing.

As things begin to wind down, Darnold and Forzen make it out of BM and start making a break for it, no idea how they'll get away from BM and to safety somewhere- they didnt really think things through.

Fortunately (or unfortunately for Forzen really), however, G-man picks both of them up. He means to drop Darnold off at Tommy's party, as he observed that Darnold helped his son to safety and is grateful for it. Forzen, though, he intends to "deal with" for messing things up so badly with Tommy, Sunkist, and all of Tommy's friends. This is where Darnold finds out about everything Forzen did and frankly gets really pissed with him since he thought he only had good intentions??? Luckily though, Darnold convinces G-man to give him a second chance, let him go to Tommy's party and apologize, and try things again. G-man, for some reasons agrees- probably bc hes in a good mood, as it IS his son's birthday.

The party is pretty uncomfortable to say the least. Tommy's extremely hesitant to talk to Forzen, but he does, and they end up on neutral terms by the end of it. Uneasy, but neutral. Tommy and Darnold hit it off though, and Tommy opens the invitation to Darnold that he can visit his place anytime now that everything at BM is over with.

As everyone's getting ready to leave, Forzen mentions to Darnold that he doesn't have a place to stay, seeing as the entire military was kinda. Yknow. Wiped out. Obviously wouldn't wanna go back to check anyways. And he has no interest in going home to his parents. So Darnold agrees to let him stay with him since they've become good pals over the course of everything.

Over time, Darnold visits Tommy more and more often. He starts bringing Forzen along, which Tommy is iffy of at first, but their dynamic starts to change and become more comfortable once Tommy sees that Forzen isnt interested in being enemies anymore.

Sunkist and Forzen still don't get along for a very long time. Or, well- it's moreso that Sunkist is very wary about Forzen, despite him not doing anything to harm either Sunkist or Tommy.

Oh yeah and almost forgot to mention one of my favorite hcs (that I PROMISE you started out as a joke but then I got attached) is Sunkist can talk!! So his first spoken interaction with Forzen after Forzen comes over to visit for the first time is literally just him being all threatening and laying down the ground rules bc he doesn't want Forzen to hurt Tommy at all in any way. And of course Forzen about has a heart attack bc "HUH??????? THERE'S A DOG THAT IS SPEAKING HUMAN WORDS TO ME"

UHH I HAVE MORE (I've written out so much shit about dynamics and what I'd think would happen even after all of this) BUT I DON'T WANT THIS TO BE TOO LONG like it already is SO I SUPPOSE I'LL LEAVE IT AT THAT FOR NOW!!!! I hope this isn't too ooc either, I just have Emotions about this series and write too much so why not share it yknow

[an AU in which you are a summer time employee who works at a riding ranch for kids and have a massive crush on one of the instructors Jacob Frye~ (this is part one of a series (reposting some older Ao3 stuff~)]

You always looked forward to summer.

A chance to get away from school, your siblings and your parents for three glorious months. Not that you didnt love your family of course, it was just a nice break from the reality you were stuck in nine months out of the year.

Every summer, ever since you started high school, you worked part time at the Frye Riding Ranch, a sort of summer camp for underprivileged kids to get a chance at taking care of and learning how to ride horses.

The people who ran it, Ethan Frye and his twin children, Jacob and Evie Frye, were very generous being that they only charged the families one dollar for the three month camp and in some cases, they let children join for free.

Apparently they had come from hard times as well.

You yourself were an actual hired hand, hired on by Ethan your first year at high school and kept on as he seemed to like your personality. You were hoping he would, after all, you loved kids AND horses and this was like a dream come true to you.

Kids were always so much easier to deal with than adults and they adored when you did your funny little voices, especially the British one as the owners whole family were Brits. Adults tended to give you odd looks.

Especially Jacob.

But then he would just give you that annoyingly charming half smile of his and go back about his business as if he hadn’t been looking at you at all. He rather loved kids too (which was part of why you found him so attractive) and even referred to them as his little “Rooks”.

He was kind with the horses as well. You’d caught him before as he was giving one a bath, talking to her sweetly and patting her lovingly as he got her cleaned up. It was the cutest thing you ad ever seen. Though you were certain he would deny he ever did such a thing if you asked him.

To be perfectly honest he had annoyed you at first. On your first day he had paired you with the worst horse they had to “break you in”, he’d doused you several times with the power hose and made you shovel so much manure you couldnt smell anything but for three days after.

You definitely hadnt had much of an appetite your first week, making Evie worry for you and then give Jacob a harsh telling off when she found out what he’d done. He wasnt a bully, she assured you, he was just…a pain.

Needless to say you’d avoided him for a month afterward but towards the end he came around. Apologized even. Which surprised you. You didnt realize you had a crush on him until you came back the next year and he gave you a big hug…

and you could feel every muscle he had.

He was every inch the rugged cowboy you’d seen on many a cover of romance novels. Muscled, rough around the edges, wild hair and eyes…and that damn smile of his! Yes indeed to you every inch of him was rugged and wild…and you loved it.

You just wished you were able to tell him. He was four years older than you and you just figured it was a passing fancy. You’d get over it. Yet every time you saw him and tried to still your beating heart it never worked. He would smile and nod at you, or say something that made you laugh, or stand too close to you when you saddled the horses for the kids.

He was the sweetest asshole you’d ever known.

You actually looked forward to getting up in the morning.

Today was turning into one of the funner days you’d had in the last three years. It was the day before graduation and to celebrate they always had a giant bonfire and a mini rodeo of sorts where the kids got to show off what they’d learned and earn a “badge of honor” for their efforts.

They were just cheap plastic sheriffs badges, but to the kids they might as well have been solid gold trophies. They got the biggest smiles on their faces and your heart just melted at the sight. Even Jacob took it a bit easier in terms of joking around, taking the event as seriously as the kids did.

You were in charge of getting all the firewood ready for the bonfire the next night as well as making all the certificates the kids would be receiving along with their badges. You were sitting at one of the tables in the rec room with Evie, writing out all the kids names neatly on their certificates, while Evie printed out the pamphlets for the parents.

“I do hope it doesn’t rain.” She was saying as you finally finished with the “S” names, rotating your wrist a bit to work out the soreness in it. You loved calligraphy but it hurt. Looking up when you heard her words you gave a curious gaze out the window, noting it was a bit stormy looking.

“Maybe it’ll blow over.” You said hopefully as you didn’t want it to ruin the kids’ fun. “If not I suppose we could hold the ceremony in here.” She said just as rain started to pelt outside. You gave a bit of a groan as now you’d have to go and cover up the wood with a tarp.

“Shit…” You grumbled as you grabbed up your coat and headed out the door. Te bonfire pit was a good ways away from the rec room and cabins so you had to book it to the barn to grab up a tarp. By the time you made it to the bonfire it was pouring down rain.

Quickly you began tucking the tarp into the corners of the pile, doing your best to get the wood covered so it would actually burn tomorrow, but it was getting windy and every corner you managed to get covered would pry itself loose by the time you got to the other end.

You were about to lose it when you felt someone grab the other end of the tarp to assist you. Giving a relieved sigh you looked over to see it was Jacob. You felt your heart begin to beat wildly again and you couldn’t control it. “Jacob…!” You started but he only yanked on the tarp.

“Dont just stand there like a fish!” He insisted as the rain pelted him without his jacket. “Move!” That snapped you out of it and you began to help him, tucking the tarp into place and covering it to help it stay safe from the rain.

With his help you got it done rather quickly and one he was certain it would stay the two of you took cover in the barn. You were both soaked but Jacob had gotten the worst of it, his black t-shirt stuck to him and his jeans were soaked through.

You were so glad you’d grabbed a jacket.

“Thanks,” You managed to say after you’d caught your breath. “I was about to give up there for a minute.” You admitted and Jacob laughed. “Wind was bein’ a bit of a bully wasnt it?” He grinned, taking off his baseball cap and wringing the water out of it best he could.

“Oh yeah, just a bit.” You teased in return with a smile that quickly turned into a blush when you saw him strip off his soaking shirt. You never knew he had a tattoo, but you turned your head so quick you didnt actually see what it was.

“What’s the matter love?” You heard him tease. “Never seen a man without a shirt before?” You felt your face get redder. “I-I…n-no…I mean…!” You were so flustered you couldnt even get a word out. “Sh-shut up!” You finally grumbled but he only laughed.

“Oh come now, you dont have to be so harsh with your tongue.” He said as he took your shoulder and leaned in close to your ear. “Your not having dirty thoughts are you?” He teased and you whirled on him to tell him off.

But stopped short as you felt his lips against the corner of your mouth.

Giving a small squeak you jumped back, your eyes wide in surprise. “J-Jacob, what the hell!?” You stammered, completely flustered. Jacob however only smiled that cocky little smile of his. “Been wantin’ to do that.” He said as he wrung out his shirt.

“Wh….what? What do you mean youve been wanting to do that?” You stuttered and he gave you a sideways grin. “Why, precisely what it means. I’ve been wanting to kiss you for a long time.” He said in plain terms.

You felt your knees buckle a bit and your heart began to thump in your chest. “R-really..?” You asked slowly. You felt like you must be dreaming. Youd had a crush on him true but you never in your life expected it to be reciprocated by him.

“Why?”

That question seemed to get to him as his cheeks actually turned a little pink. “Well…because I like ya.” He said with an honest shrug, putting his shirt back on. “I thought that was obvious but I guess I went about showin’ ya the wrong way.” He admitted sheepishly.

You gave a snort. “Yeah, making me shovel maure isnt the fastest way to my heart y'know!” You insisted with a swat to his arm. Jacob laughed aloud, a laugh you’d grown to love. “I guess I did fumble that one up a bit…” He admitted, giving you a soft look with his brown eyes.

“So…how is it you feel about me?” He asked and it was your turn to flush in the cheeks. You honestly didnt know what to say at first. “I..I mean I really like you Jacob. I’ve…I’ve had a crush on you for a while…” You hated to admit that out loud.

“I just…I feel like I’ve known you forever,” You said as you looked up at him. “I know it sounds silly but I’ve really come to like you.” You said, feeling a sense of relief at finally getting that out in the open.

Sensing your relief he gently took your cheek getting you to look at him. “Well since I like you and you like me….ya wanna try that kiss again?” He asked. He wasnt pushy about it or trying to force himself. His stance was relaxed, and his hand gentle.

How could you say no?

Leaning up towards him his lips met yours halfway, cupping your cheek as he kissed you long and deep. It was the most amazing kiss you’d ever tasted in your life. When you finally pulled away from him he rested his forehead against yours.

“So…theres only a week left of camp,” He said as he looked down at you with a bit of curiosity in his gaze. “I dont suppose you’d be willing to…let me come visit you in the city sometime?” he asked. You just gave him a smile and kissed his nose.

“You can visit me anytime….just make sure you come by car. If you ride a horse into the city people tend to freak out.” You teased. Jacob only laughed aloud.

“I make no promises.”

his role is more of a spy, however jeonghan likes the term ‘traitor’ more than anything

there are many rumours about him

only a handful have been picked to be debunked as true or false

for years he’s still been rumoured whether or not hes a member of seventeen

surprise surprise, he is

and the story of how he was recruited was one he’d never forget

because who would forget his missing nineteen-year old childhood friend climbing up to the top of his penthouse, at 1:27 in the morning, and suddenly break and walk into your bedroom like it’s no big deal?

in other words, he wasn’t pleased to see his dearest seungcheol

his friend was talking about all sorts of nonsense the moment he startled awake: japan, gangs, tattoos,, bad haircuts,,, poisoned ice cream??

this wasnt the seungcheol he remembered

so with mixed feelings, jeonghan told seungcheol to crash on his bed while jeonghan would take the couch and asking seungcheol to take a shower because he looked like he came back from a fight with a shark

when morning came seungcheol was trying to explain jeonghan about the wonderful complicated world of mafia business

but jeonghan had none of it — it sounded unreal

on top of that he was more fussed over seungcheol leaving for two years and not telling his own friend about it

with all this anger building inside him, mainly due to the stress of trying to get his head around this whole... thing, he told seungcheol to leave and go back home

seungcheol gave a look at him, a hard look, before he sighed and stormed out of the place

jeonghan didnt miss the small ‘no one ever stops to listen to someone like me’ under seungcheol’s breath

and never in their friendship they brought light upon their many differences, so it kinda tugged on jeonghan’s heartstrings

it saddened him knowing he didn’t give the welcome his friend wanted but at the time he thought he was in the right

then for the next two weeks, seungcheol was desperately trying to get jeonghan to join his ‘mafia’

(mafia in asteriks, because jeonghan wasn’t having any of his bullshit)

through messages, messy letters, he even received a collection post-it notes stuck around his penthouse without traces of who did this even though he fully knew well who it was 

and that night jeonghan was paranoid that seungcheol would randomly break in again

then the desperation for help stopped for the next month

although jeonghan did enjoy the attention from his best friend and wanted to continue this ‘fun’ game, he began to grow concerned

his best friend disappeared without a trace. again.

the cope was harder to deal with this time, because the insignificant thought about seungcheol truly being a mafia boss was becoming the host of his nightmares

you best believed the utter shock on his face when he saw seungcheol sat beside his door around midnight

hood up, dirty head to toe and one nasty cut on his lip and cheek

jeonghan was supposed to go to a party, but that priority was ignored straight away

he takes seungcheol in, aiding the cuts before doing anything else

as jeonghan would expect from the man, seven year old seungcheol would be screaming ugly noises with snot running down along his tears

but this other seungcheol didn’t flinch at the pressure of the alcohol touching his skin, and looked in every direction to avoid jeonghan

that — thankfully — hadn’t changed

seungcheol always payed attention to his surroundings when he doesnt want to be in a situation. it happened a lot with his father

so jeonghan asks why he looks like shit

and all the anxieties rush to his brain as the thought of his lash of anger to seungcheol caused the latter to end up like this

questions like when did he last eat?, where did he stay?, did i do this?

but seungcheol started explaining himself

something about these high schoolers ganging up on a sixteen year old in their school because of his looks, seungcheol stood up for this said ‘sixteen year old’ and found the four-against-one fight fair play until they brought out knives and seungcheol was like youve got to be kidding me

and suddenly, one thing led to another and the sixteen year old lit a tree on fire???? and he lifted a stray branch, took out a lighter, then lit it before storming to the high schoolers with a maniac-like look on his face

and the kid was then gone as he chased the high schoolers away

seungcheol had never been more confused

but he had to get out as there was still the,,, burning tree there,,,,,,

and when he finished his story, he paused, falling silent again and sort of bitterly saying ‘sorry, half of the things i say sound unbelievable now’

and jeonghan is a bit offended but he wasn’t going to push seungcheol away yet again

so jeonghan tells him that he believes him and at first seungcheol kept arguing that he’s bluffing for his sake

surprised, jeonghan reassures him again and again to get it through seungcheol’s head that he’s going to join him because he’s going through a hard time, anyone can see that

remaining silent, seungcheol nods before he manages out a thanks

they apologise and forgive each other, and later that night seungcheol tells everything — and i mean everything — about his family and the mafia

it was a heavy night for seungcheol

which brings us to today

since jeonghan was born into a rich family, it made seungcheol’s job way more easier than it was as jeonghan had higher class connections with others while his friend kept lowkey

he can have news alerted to him quickly like updates on parties, social events, scandals, some juicy affairs here and there, all that corrupt high-society crap

and he gets the odd word about some mafias in korea, making it his duty to report all of it back to seungcheol

with seungcheol’s command, he does whatever he instructs him to do, which is to spy on any updates of the situation

hence why he’s always out at fancy social-events

its truly a bore though. he’d rather sleep in

you may think he’s just acting naive most of the time — but he’s listening to every word and every moment he can sink in all around him

the highlight of the night is when everyone gets drunk, which is the perfect time to hear their dark secrets and use his sweet-talk

effortlessly finds a way to manipulate his way to invite himself and seventeen, who’d he’d call associates, to any banquet whenever he senses dirty work will commence

his pretty-boy looks usually do the trick ‘seventeen’s pretty boy’, the group calls him

makes the time to take care of the member’s schedules and invitations to these places, even going to the extent to make replica invitations

creates a plan of how the members enter so that they wouldn’t be seen together and raise eyebrows

particularly during these events, other suspicious men try to keep a close eye on jeonghan due to the rumours of his relation to the seventeen mafia

yet they’re wasting their time because he’s never in one place and socialises with many people

often when he strays on his own, he explores the area and wanders from room after room to find anything else valuable

normally reports to wonwoo what he finds through an earpiece

‘youre going to open it arent you’

‘risqué, she keeps a taser and a ton of money in her lingerie set’

‘dont take the money’

‘wasnt going to’

‘jeonghan drop the roll of money right now’

did i mention that he needs to ‘borrow’ a belonging as his souvenir for the places he visits

and because of junhui, he has semi-mastered the skill to hide all evidence

also pretty much hates it when he’s rushed, needs to take his tiem with everything (excluding when they’re in grave danger then that’s different)

mouth runs a lot so when he really needs information to be spilt, he exposes other lowkey scandals to get the information he needs

this is where he gets his traitor title from

if he’s framed as a traitor, he turns the tables around and either puts the blame on someone else or on the person calling him a traitor

he’s grown up in this corrupt class and knows all the dirty ins and outs of it

when he feels like he’s being interrogated to spill information, he takes control of the conversation and does subtle things like asking for things usually pouting when doing so or complimenting on one thing before discussing something completely off topic

he can never expose seventeen and will never expose them even if he’s dying 

another off-topic fact, he calls people babe a lot

mainly because it makes people feel a certain way, but its jeonghan’s self-acclaimed magic word

that word does things

is also a part of A Team, but due to the fact jeonghan is always busy, they dont work together as often as they used to

looking at soonyoung, wonwoo and jeonghan, you wouldn’t think of them to be that close but they’ve had history

out of all of seventeen, he’s the weakest in terms of weaponry since he’s basically just a informant to seventeen

therefore his choice of weapon are usually used by the closest thing to him

prefers glass as his choice of weapon if he had to choose, so because of this minghao frequently gives him smashed wine bottles for jeonghan’s use

a bit of a brat

but seventeen never mentions it

loves seeing people beg in front of him, especially when theyre desperate

this might be because he likes attention on him

teasing and poking fun at them gives him the greatest joy, it leaves him so satisfied but also wanting more

normally after difficult jobs done by the whole group, when Perficio Unit are clearing up the last of the evidence and killing the last of their suffering enemies, jeonghan skips in to take a wonder around too

Perficio Unit let him because its jeonghan

blood is soaked everywhere, many men are on the floor, some dead, possibly not, and their fancy suits all ruined while the four males finishing the job play jazz music on blast as they take care of the remains

just another job for seventeen

and jeonghan inspects each face, making sure the fear is their eyes while theyre slowly dying from blood loss. if they arent, then jeonghan pulls a gun out of his pocket and points it at them, getting the reaction he wants

(the gun was full of blanks anyway, what’s there to be scared about??)

decides to steal a wristwatch from one of the men and gets told off by the unit because they now have to get rid of jeonghan’s dirty fingerprints for stealing the accessory

loves it even more when Perficio Unit are in the middle of an interrogation (on most occasions they lead the questioning) back in their hideout and pops down to see how their ever-so suffering victim is hanging in there

generally summoned down if 1. wonwoo is busy or 2. they need the victim to speak a bit more

jeonghan doesn’t play once he comes down — but its inevitable that he’ll make sure that he gets the satisfaction that he wants from the person held captive

will stay until theyre sweating and crying in a mix of blood and tears and they are begging in front of his feet while tied up. he wont stop the torture unless the person confesses truthfully to what Perficio Unit ask and feel numb around their whole body that it hurts

uses the taser he stole in addition to let the pain sink in even more, also decorated the taser to have stickers of a halo and wings to look like an angel

when they get the answer they want, it’s a job well done for jeonghan

and when the victim thinks its all over, jeonghan sweetly grins one last time to them, turning foot because, really, he cannot do anything to the poor soul

he shrugs and walks, searching in his back pocket for a gun a filled one this time, twirling it around his fingers before handing it to one of the unit members

without skipping a beat, he smiles, whispering ‘enjoy’ and leaving them to do their job

needs the members as much as the members needs him

a perfect balance

Chapter 10 Inhuman

As you stab the vial of glowing blue liquid into your thigh and push down on the plunger injecting the entire vial into your body. The display hit 00:00 blowing you against the opposite wall. You began coughing at the impact until you realize the needle still stuck out of your leg. You ripped it out and groaned looking to Tom. He had been thrown about within his cage; destroying part of his shackles, and the blast also damaging the bars around him. The room you two were in was now reduced to piles of rubble and darkness. It looked almost as if you were in a cave system now. Thankfully no Hydra stayed behind to watch their failure.

Trying to stand to get to Tom you immediately feel a fiery rush through your veins from the injection. It scared you how quickly it was destroying you. You collapsed against the wall sinking down. Roaring in frustration tom rips the damaged bars apart it was all that separated you from him. His scream echoed through the emptiness. A shout returning back from Thor. They were on their way to you, and part of the crater had imploded due to the blast. Tom wasnt listening though, he had one thing on his mind and that was you. He rushed to you and grabbed your body pressing it to him; tears dripping down his cheeks.

"N-no please." He croaked out breathlessly. You smiled and shushed him.

"Shhh my love. It doesn't hurt. I'm in no pain." You lied softly as blood gurgles out of your mouth gently running down your chin. The impact of being blasted across the room must have punctured a lung. You know you will combust any second as the heat reaches your heart. You both could hear screaming and the sounds of rushing steps in the far distance. They were almost there.

He grabbed you by the back of your head and your lower back; screaming out in anger, frustration and anguish. After his screams died down there was a brief silence where you could feel his body trembling and hear his ragged breathing. It was almost soothing to you. You had grown accustom to being close to him after his fights; Of being what calmed him down.

"No! No I can't lose you! You're inhuman!" He screamed out as the shouts in the distance came closer.

"No my love. I'm very much a human. What is one life versus millions? " you sputter out; your body getting hotter by the second.

"Brother Tomas! Avengers! I found them! Quickly!" Thor shouted. Tom was sobbing into the crook of your neck as you shushed him. Wincing, you were glad he couldn't see your face, it would give away the amount of pain you were actually in.

"Tomas? I want you to know that I lo-love y-" your words cut off as a guttural scream emitted from your throat, blood splattering your face from the force. Tomas screamed along with you as you erupted in his arms. Your scream silencing as he held your ashen corpse. It was still a perfect replica of you. Thor, Natasha, and Tony ran over only to watch Tom stare down at you horrified. The wind picked up and slowly your body crumbled to a pile of ash upon his hands and lap. He stared up at them with a face covered in ash and tears. His nose and eyes raw.

"It was strapped to a bomb...in liquid form....She- she injected herself with the it...she said it was the only way..." he managed to choke out still staring down, at what was left of you, in shock.

"She truly was an asset to our race. My apologies brother Tomas." Thor spoke first then bowed onto one knee. He held his fist to his shoulder in a sign of respect. Natasha took a step forward and then bowed on one knee mimicking Thor.

"She saved us all Tom. She was the epitome of a martyr. Let us celebrate what she accomplished today." She spoke softly.

Clint and Steven both bowed on one knee also crossing their hearts in respect.

"She will always be a hero Tom." Steven spoke first before offering his condolences.

Tony was the only one still standing.

"I uh.. I wanted to say that I'm sorry Tomas. I know how much she lit up your world. And I know how she had all of the right answers to everything...and that that is why she is gone and you are still here, but most of all I want you to know that this isn't your fault and that she did what she had to. She is a hero." Tears pricked Tony's eyes as he too bent and bowed onto one knee. Tom stared at all of them his face showing anguish and anger.

"She was supposed to be the survivor! I was supposed to die! I was supposed to have been the one free of emotions and pain! " he screamed out angrily as his heart broke. He looked like a child mid temper tantrum, but rightly so.

"She was supposed to live on and be happy again.." he whimpered out as he stared down at his ash covered hands.

"Her downfall was she was too human to be inhuman." Bruce spoke as he walked across the rubble towards them. The avengers stayed on bent knee.

"Tomas she took on such a lethal dose that it wouldnt have mattered who took it. They would have died. She just knew what had to be done. No one is to blame. She loved you dearly and I am sure she wouldn't want you sobbing over her. She would want you to smile and laugh and have a good life. Live on through her Tomas. She would expect that." Bruce joined the others on a bowed knee as Thor began to recite a Norse prayer to allow you a safe journey to your destination.

Tomas stood up and wiped his face. He felt utterly hollow. He was loaded onto the quinjet and brought back to the tower. Your ashes swirling through the air in the crater. You didnt deserve to be buried there, but there was no way to contain you and bring you home. This too hurt Tom as he realized your gravesite. Upon the quinjet docking; He went straight to your room and threw himself into your sheets smelling your still. Fresh tears streaked your pillow cases. Reaching under your pillow he found a small journal with a blue bound case. Opening it he felt his breath hitch. Inside were mementos of every date and every event he ever took you to. From pressed flowers to movie stubs. He flipped through chuckling at how you collected everything. You must have begged Coulson to get your journal back. He flipped through until his hands froze. The last page used towards the back was a white flower pressed from your wedding night. And the quote "I always have and always will. I do." The book was blank after. He quickly flipped through quickly to make sure he got it all and a small envelope fell out of the back onto the floor. He reached down and picked it up to see your handwriting scribbled 'Tomas' across the front. He took a shaky breath and opened the envelope to see you had written him a goodbye note.

"Tomas, please don't cry for me

I know you never meant for this

I love you completely, just remember that

If I should leave you now

Then in my final hour

I pray this letter finds you well

Before it all goes to hell

They could never cage the world

It's too big for anyone, and soon the dark will pass

I want so much to be with you

But in my heart I know, Tom,

The world needs you now.

It is time for a revolution,

take them all on and win.

Remember my love,

we are all a little inhuman."

Tom half crushed the note against his mouth sobbing. After a moment his eyes snapped open and he gently placed the letter back in the envelope and ran to Banner's lab. He began using Jarvis and working on the coding with mutations of the cells. You didnt have any mutations, that's why you weren't affected. You hadn't become inhuman. You Were Immune to the terrigen. He clicked away on the computer until a hand, one he did not feel, gently rested on his shoulder.

'Tomas?' A computer generated copy of your voice spoke gently. Tom jumped up spinning to see a holographic version of you. You were wearing a simple black dress and your hair was messy but down around your face.

'Tomas, Jarvis was nice enough to record me in the chance- well I'm hoping you found the letter first. I wanted you to know that I love you so much. I have always loved you. I will always love you. Please, try not to blame yourself for any of this mess...I don't blame you. By now you have realized I carry the antigen for the terrigen. Use what's left of my blood and isolate a vaccination. You are so smart, I know you can save everyone. And Tomas...' You stepped towards him and the hologram tried to cup his cheek and lean in for a kiss. Tom closed his eyes and sank to his knees sobbing. 'Remember I love you. ' the perfect image of you faded and the lab became dark again. Tom sat there on the floor sobbing until banner helped get him back to his room. Bruce handed him two yellow pills and sighed.

"Sleep Tom... we can work on it tomorrow..." Tom looked down at the obvious sleeping pills before throwing them into his mouth and dry swallowing them. Dreamless sleep is what he needed. As he laid in bed waiting for sleep to claim him he thought of how he was dragged away from your sleeping form. How he never truly got to say goodbye to you...how you had made love for the first and last time the night you died. He found his mind wandering to the what ifs. What if you had lived and he had died? What if you had become pregnant? What if you didnt have to die? He cried silently until finally a harsh and unforgiving sleep took him.

Before events of Far cry New Dawn

Isabella was only a child when the bombs hit, She was very worried about why her mom said she’ll be back but she has been gone for a long time but once the bombs drop her neighbors have a bunker and grab her and what they all need to survive into the bunker, Isabella only grab one thing is a picture of herself with her mom in her police uniform for the first time, she looks at her neighbors and one was silently talking but can hear his words “The world is ending, the world is ending, the world is ending” while his wife was sobbing, Isabella was scared but somehow she kept calm and silently keeping hope for everything to be alright again but for now all they can do is wait till the chaos from outside slows down.

Years in the bunker have passed, mostly people give up hope after the world ends but not for Isabella, she doesn't even know why she still have hope but she did than one day they hear knocking from the bunker ceiling door, the neighbor slightly check and hear people outside saying “it’s safe to come out!”. 

All three of them left the bunker and see how amaze how outside isn't all destruction but flowers, fresh air and beautiful bright blue sky all around and Isabella never saw anything so amazing even before the bombs hit, She sees people joining together to rebuild the world as it was before and she imminently wanted to help but there was one thing that she needed to do, Go to Hope Country and find her mom alive.

She knows it’s gonna be very difficult to go to hope country and even if she says about her plan, everyone sometimes tell her “I’m sorry but I don’t think your mother survive” “She’s dead move on!” but it didnt stop her at all, then she heard some guy named Thomas Rush is planning on making a team that helps rebuilding the world, setting up new homes and adding more people to join together so she went around and asked about Thomas Rush and where is he, so then she manage to find Thomas Rush and asked to join the team though he wasnt sure at first but he saw the fire in her eyes and accepts her.

Years again happen and Isabella kept on helping everyone who needed help and Thomas was surprised of how she was like a second leader so he promote her to be Second in Order Captain, but there was something else between these two have a connection they didn't know it would be more than being teammates, they ended up falling in love with each other, Though they kept their relationship a secret but it everyone can see though it. 

Thomas even know what Isabella really wanted to do and he encourage her about it but he told her that we cant just go there right now when there is still places that needed rebuild and Isabella accepts that, She even slightly changed her name to Isabella-Hope

And then one day, they met Carmina Rye asking for help in her hometown because of the Highway men have been destroying what her family and friends accomplish and what caught Isabella surprise that it was in hope country where her mom was there the last time she saw her going, the team than travel to Hope Country to helped, only to be caught in a surprise

During some of the events of Far Cry New Dawn

After the highway men nearly killed everyone and both Isabella and Carmina escaped but Thomas was kidnapped by the twins, Isabella was nearly devastated of what happen but tells Carmina it’s not her fault that it happened and both her and Carmina with the help of prosperity they will take down the highway men but they need to get Thomas first.

During her time in Prosperity, Isabella was looking around asking people about the whereabouts her mom and answers were no idea or they haven't see someone like that till she ask Kim about her and even show an very old photo that she kept, Isabella and Carmina who was helping her asked around was confused why Kim was in total shocked to look at her then the photo then at her again, That’s when Kim told Isabella about the story of what happen here before the bombs hit that Her mom started the resistances against the Cult called Project of Edens Gate to stopped the leader of the cult but before they manage to win the rebel, the bombs hit and everyone scatter and that was the last Kim saw the deputes before they got in the car with the leader and drive away, Isabella was silent after she heard the story for a while but afterward she told Kim that she believes her mom survive and is still alive because she does not give up hope until she sees the body.

Later on after Isabella saved Thomas from the highway men but the Twins attacked the prosperity, Thomas told everyone about the group up north and that’s when Isabella went to the north and out of nowhere is having visions of a man pointing to where she needs to go and after doing puzzles she goes into a abandon bunker and looks at the notes left her in shaken in disbelieve that the notes were her mom write in paper as she was slowly losing herself, Isabella clicked two and two together, the mask person who refused to let her in was her mother.

After she return to the north and show the book, the judge let her in and just point to where she need to go and ignoring what Isabella was saying and just growls at her to shut up, Isabella was heartbroken to see her mom became a different person but her anger for the man that made her become like this has grew very much.

Isabella did some quest to show she has become part of new eden and helping the people there to find the father but the so called leader Ethan who is supposed to be the son of the father wanted Isabella to kill him so his people to look up to him instead of Joseph, as much as she wanted to kill Joseph as well she cant because everyone both prosperity needed new eden to help and new eden needed Joseph back in order to accept the helped so she headed far up north and finally met eye to eye with the man who started it all.

After Isabella ate the apple of the gift and defeat her personal beast within her and became the true Shepard of god, she brought Joseph back to New Eden and before she left with the judge that Joseph said they will be with you from now on, Isabella snapped and yelled at Joseph for what he has done to her mom but Joseph was calm and understanding her why she is angry and told her that this was her mother’s choice to become like this and how they both changed each other but Isabella wasnt buying it and left with what’s left of her mom but something inside Isabella that she can helped regain her real mom back and that’s what she would do from now on.

During most of the time in Hope Country she gain guns for hire and people who can help upgrade the prosperity, Thomas has thought about here now that everyone in the train was gone and only him and Isabella survived, he decides to stay with Isabella and will bring his own family here as well by the time everything is all set is done. Isabella felt extremely happy for the first time in years but it did not last for long time because of tragic happens next

Isabella became a total different person after the twins killed Thomas right in front of her as she was handcuff and couldn’t do anything to stop them even her mom was concerned about her daughter but Isabella felt is anger, sadness and revenge as the gift had consume her into something else, after finding out that Ethan betrayed new eden and told the twins where new edens at, Isabella manage to take down the twins and showed no remorse after having a small talk with mickey and killing her right on the spot with no regret, after she defeats Beast Ethan with the caused of losing her hand during the fight, she witness Joseph burning the tree with now a deceased ethan and Joseph telling he was wrong and it wasnt himself or her mother to be god’s Shepard but Isabella herself and asked her to release him with judge in the background looking on, Isabella told him “I’m not doing this for you.” Joseph replied “I know.” and then Isabella killed Joseph Seed without a second thought.

Isabella sitting by Thomas’s grave along with Carmina next to her and unknowingly her mom is in the background watching them even her own daughter killed the man she follow to the end is still besides her. Both Carmina Rye and Isabella-Hope Patterson looked on the field having hope once again.

In Depth Profile of Gretz

This is going to go VERY deep and very much into Main Story Quest Spoiler Territory so I’m gonna put the unnecessary stuff under a read more.

Full name: Unknown, She hasn’t given out that information. Race: Erune, techincally a Revenant. Elemental Attunement: Water Occupation: Captain of the Grandcypher, Mage, but can probably beat most people in a sword fight. Charge Attack names: Originally “Lainetav Meri” then becomes “Vaikne Ookean” Parents: Both parents are Erune, Father is from Zinkenstill, Mother from Lumacie. Mother died at giving birth, father is currently in Estalucia. Siblings: Twin sister, deceased.

Aaaand the rest can go into a Read More because this is where things go very detailed and I’m not gonna clog the tag with my ramblings! This is basically her backstory, and parts of the MSQ retold to fit Gretz

I’m gonna warn you all now that this is a brainfart and probably badly written because there’s like... facts and story and it’s all written like a mess, but hopefully explains enough.

So... I suppose the story should start from the beginning. Gretz’s father was an incredible mage and the leader of his own skyfarer crew, and he started young, younger than Gretz when she began her journey. Somewhere along the way, Gretz’s father met Margrite, a rather plain Erune woman from Lumacie. The two fell in love but her father kept the relationship a secret. Before long, Margrite found out she was pregnant, and out of the blue, Gretz’s father disbanded his crew and hid with Margrite and wanted to simply start a family with her.

Things went horribly wrong, however, when both Margrite and one of the twins perished during birth. The circumstances were strange, they simply started failing, and even though Gretz’s father was very well versed with healing magic, to the point where he could bring someone back from the bring and regrow their limbs... his magic didn’t catch. Nothing he, or any of the other healers did could save Gretz’s mother or twin. Margrite’s soul was beyond saving, but a little sliver of the dead twin’s essence was still there, and the father managed to grab onto it. 

Gretz’s father stayed with Margrite’s family for a while, until his guilt got overbearing, and he decided to go back home, to his mother’s home. Things were quite relaxed for many years, Gretz grew up strong, and wasn’t really bothered by the fact that she didn’t have a mother. Her dad never mentioned the twin.

He taught her magic, and passed down his ability to cast magic without any arcane instruments, but instructed Gretz to never show that ability to anyone. She never truly understood why this type of magic had to be kept secret, but she played along.

When she was 8, her father’s crew had tracked him down, and much to his dismay, they were incredibly angry and wanted him to get back into skyfaring. Gretz was instructed to hide, her presence was to be kept a secret from the crew, who would otherwise want her to join was well, given that she was HIS daughter, and probably inherited his powers. So Gretz hid. She hid until her grandmother came to fetch her and Vyrn, and so Gretz was left without her father. The little girl was left grief stricken, being only told that she will find something very important when she was ready. 

So she stayed there on Zinkenstill until at the age of 21, she saw the girl with the blue hair falling from the sky, and her fate was sealed. She valiantly defended this strange girl, only to be struck down by a hydra. In the process her soul tied with Lyria’s, but another entity was brought into the mix. A terrifying fighter spirit with an opposing power to Gretz’s, the ability to void magic utterly. Gretz would not find out about this other spirit until much later, when stakes would grow bigger and lives were endangered more, but until then, she, Vyrn, Lyria and Kat went on to create a skyfarer crew. 

Most of the story follows the main story quest, bar for a few differences, most notably, when Not Gretz appears. She’d appear any time when Lyria would be sure to get hurt, other times when things seem hopeless for Gretz. Her body remained the same but the aura surrounding the Erune was different, cold, devoid of joy. Her mannerism was harsh, sarcastic, almost evil. Most of the time, the crew would spare any people who got in their way, opting to convince them to take a better walk of life, but not this person. With impossible precision and immense power and speed, a jagged spear would cut down all who dared to harm the Red Dragon or the Girl in Blue, or even the vessel herself. These “possessions” were short, but left Gretz a mess for several days. The scar on her stomach that almost ripped her in half that would never fade no matter how hard she tried to get rid of it would tear open, crippling her. They would all inevitably heal, but it seemed that whatever shared Gretz’s body had a vendetta against her and wanted to make it obvious to everyone. 

As the crew land on Lumacie, they take on a job to clear out an old cemetery that’d been overrun, and Gretz comes across a very familiar name. That leads to her getting a little hint to her other grandparents, and she tracks them down. The old pair receive her warmly, shocked at how much she looks like her father but having her mother’s eyes, never saying anything bad about her father and that her mother’s death was just an unfortunate situation but wasn’t anyone’s fault. Gretz then keeps regular correspondence with her mother’s parents, and is happy to have found more family.

The next most important event happens after the crew flees Lumacie following their defeat at the hands of a corrupted Yggdrasil. They go to Zinkenstill, where they find that Gretz’s paternal grandmother had passed, leaving her shaken to the core. The crew presses on though, determined to save the islands from the Empire. At the shrine, Vyrn falters, prompting Sturm to raise her weapons at him, only to be swiftly swatted to the side violently by a powerful black spear. Not Gretz takes on the agent duo, her antimagic nature completely cripping Drang and pinning Sturm against a tree with her own swords, though not killing them outright, as “it would interfere with The Other too much.”  Before having the shit utterly beaten out of him, Drang did manage to find out who the spirit was, though only cryptically being told that she was “the one who never made it.”

The assault was cut short as Furias’ invasion of the island was deemed far more interesting a fight for the entity. The invasion didn’t last, and soon everyone would return to the ship for a rest, Not Gretz relinquishing control of the body back to Gretz just so she could see the injured Drang and Sturm drag themselves back onto the ship. Needless to say, Gretz, feeling like a monster, attempted to hide from shame, only to pass out from her stomach being ripped open again.

The healers all scrambled to get her back whole again, and no major injuries except for Gretz’s pride. The following morning, before the sun would crest the mountains, she managed to drag herself out of her bedroom, and tip toed off the ship, silently, not telling anyone. Vyrn, however, seemed to know something was off and found her, weeping at her grandmother’s grave, and suggested that the two go and do a favourite early morning passtime of theirs. The two quietly went onto a hill, and Gretz began to call out. Her voice sorrowful, but the echo in the mountains beautiful, and after a moment they’d hear the typical clanging of cow bells as the herd ran over to inspect the calls.

The two of them were followed by another pair. By Drang’s suggestion, he and Sturm followed the captain to see what she’d do, ghosting around like that, all mysterious. It didn’t take long for Gretz to notice, and in her weakened state, she became petrified and convinced the two would want revenge. A little slip on the wet dewy grass left her tumbling off a steep hill and straight into a fencepost and she felt a bit too weak and in pain to do anything so she simply curled up and started to weep. Drang and Sturm, both taken aback at this display of vulnerability rush up to her and Drang offers a little healing to close up the cut on her forehead, Sturm simply propping her up. Gretz, confused and scared simply starts rambling about how she thought they’d kill her. The agents shook their heads and deny that being their goal, though Drang wants to know more about the entity in her. 

Upon hearing the phrase that the entity is the one who “didn’t make it” Gretz realized that the entity could be none other than her deceased twin, though she then became even more confused as to how her twin who died at birth would have those abilities. One question answered, 10 more now taking it’s place. 

After cleaning herself up a bit, Gretz spots a strange glint in the distance, in the middle of the field. Squinting at it, she spots a familiar relic, her father’s staff. Though weak, and hurting, and confused, her legs simply begin to move and she recovers the staff. The stone in the middle shining just as bright at she remembered it. 

The 4 return to the ship, where the rest of the crew is restless and panicking looking for their captain. Relieved to find her unharmed, the crew quiets down, though Gretz now has a new resolve to go and save Yggdrasil, so after Vyrn releases whatever the hell was in the shrine, the crew goes to face the menace. 

During that fight, it seems quite hopeless but Gretz manages to unleash magic to a crazy amount. Her innate spellcasting meant that she didn’t need tools to cast magic, but she remembers that she can siphon magic in from other sources than just herself. After basically destroying several staves and tools by sucking out all the magic and basically almost turning herself into a being of pure mana, she manages to get a hit strong enough to defeat Yggdrasil, but then immediately gets slammed full force into a rock cliff by one of the snake tentacles. Her spell took away all noise in the area and the sickening crack of her body hitting the rock face was more than enough to make the whole crew imagine the worst. 

Luckily, being made of pure magic meant that in that state her body was basically unable to die from injuries, though she immediately requested help to fix her numerous broken bones. Lyria was NOT allowed to see the body. Everyone else still has nightmares.

After that... The crew follows the main story aside from a few minor differences, but Gretz accepts the whole “Singularity” business pretty well but then realizes that she really DID cause the deaths of her mother and sister.  Lyria manages to pacify the spirit, and Emmeliine is given an official position in the crew, and Gretz no longer gets torn up every time a possession takes place. The crew are looking into getting a golem made for Emmeliine so she and gretz can exist in the physical realm at the same time. Em is still very spicy and mean, but no longer AS murderous. She’s still able to beat the shit out of the crew.

I hope??? These ramblings make sense?? I wanted to make a comic of this but my hand  hurts and in fic format it’d take too long.

Yes my self-insert is a fucking Mary Sue with Deep Issues and a Dead Twin Ghost Spirit whatcha gonna do about it.

Aria had never been a fan or trains so when they learned they would be on one for weeks during this sham engagement tour she knew she would need to spend most of it drunk. At least the parts she could be anyway. Thank God for court parties, there was always some kind of booze available. She was thankful they had hotel accommodations tonight though.

Things had been going well with Liam, but as the days went on his schedule became more and more full. Aria didn’t see him except for glances at social events. Madeline was also turning up the PDA as well. “Lets go Aria we were supposed to be there 10 minutes ago.” Leo groaned waiting for Aria to change into yet another dress. They had dinner with an Italian statesmen who was one of Liams mothers friends. Leo was filling in for the Beaumonts since they were out trying to track Tariq down. “Ok how about this one?” Aria steps out of the bathroom.  Leos eyes light up, she looked stunning in a red sequin gown that hugged her body, the back cut so low you could almost see the tattoo she had on the small of her back. Leo stuttered, he couldn’t form words to save his life. Aria laughs “I’ll take that as it’s a winner.” Leo nods his head  “yes, now can we go I’m starving.” His words came back. 

When they walked into the dinner all eyes were on them. Liam’s mouth dropped open, Aria caught him out if her corner of her eye she stiffened back a laugh. She loved when she could pull him out of that stoic demeanor. Fire courses through Madeline veins. It wasn’t bad enough Liam was constantly drooling over Aria, making her look incredibly stupid. But now she saunters in on Leo’s arm?  Aria and Leo take their seats. They are close enough to the head table to have a clear view of Madeline and Liam.

Madeline plasters on a smile as she holds liams hand. She leans in close whispering in his ear “wipe the drool off your face liam, People are watching." He straightens up in his seat. Something had to be done about her, She couldnt have both Rhys brothers after her. Madeline thought to herself, taking a sip of her wine.

At the end of dinner the guest mingled. Aria found a moment alone on the balcony with Liam. “Will you be joining me tonight? She inquired It had been a week since Liam spent the night with her.  "Aria I wish I could but Madeline roped us into drinks with the statesmen, I won’t be able to get away.” He reaches out to touch her hand. Aria moves her hand and sighs “ this is the third time this week Liam. You know you have been spending an awful lot of your down time with Madeline.” “Me? You show up here on my brothers arm, wearing that.” He motioned up and down to her dress. “Well, at least someone escorted me to dinner. Maxwell and Bertrand are working hard to track down whoever set me up, or do you even care about clearing my name anymore?” Aria seethed “keep it down, we don’t want to draw attention.” Liam insisted. Aria stares at him wide eyed “You are unbelievable liam.” She scoffs “Oh and the dress was supposed to be for YOUR benefit!” she walks away leaving him on the balcony. 

Aria heads over to the bar and hops up on the bar stool next to drake. “Shot of vodka.” She tells the bartender. “Uh oh, that kind of night.” Drake grumbles. She takes her shot and throws it back slamming the glass down on the bar. Drake looks at her for a moment, he can tell she’s having a rough night. “Hey, I was going to go shoot some pool, there’s a bar the outside of town if you want to join me?” He asks trying to hide the longing look he was sure he was giving off. Liam told her she could see other people, the attraction he felt for her was growing stronger. He knew he shouldn’t have these feelings but he did. “That sounds great. Give me 30 minutes and I’ll meet you in the hotel lobby. Aria said hoping off the stool. 

She searches the crowd for Leo to let him know she was going to take off, but he found her first. "There you are, I been looking for you.” Aria says “Me? I was coming to ask if you had any plans tonight beautiful? Leo slides an arm around her playfully "Actually yeah, drake and I are going to a bar to have a drink and shoot some pool. Wanna go? Aria asks twirling her hair with her fingers. She hoped he would say yes, Leo always knew how to get her out of a funk. "I could shoot some pool.” Leo says dropping his arm and taking her hand. As they are leaving the resturant Liam sees them across the room.  His face scarlet with a mixture of anger and jelousey. Of course she’s leaving with Leo, he’s always there to swoop in after i manage to screw up. If I didn’t pick my game up, Leo wouldn’t have to steal her, she would go willingly. He thought to himself. 

After a quick change Aria heads to the hotel loby to meet drake. “Hey Hale, you ready to go?” He asks. “Umm just 1 min… ah there.” She searches the crowd, smiling as she sees Leo. “Hey we ready to go?” Leo approaches. “Oh, I didn’t know you were coming too Rhys.” Drake grumbled. He was not expecting Leo to cut into his alone time with Aria. “Yeah I invited him, hope that’s ok?” Aria said picking at her nails. “Ah yeah I guess.” Drakes voice dripping with annoyance. Leo smirked, he knew what drakes plan was. Aria walks towards the car Drake had waiting. Leo clasps Drake on the shoulder and chuckles “nice try bud, but that ones mine.” Drake gives Leo a stern look before they both get into the car.

They pull up to the bar and Aria gasps. “I don’t believe it. Leo do you remember this place?” She asked Leo nods in agreement “I do. Shall we make the same wager?” He cocks his brow, a sly grin forms “You’re on.” Aria pushes his arm. Drake looks at the two of them confused .

They walk into the bar and grab a booth. Leo gets a few pool sticks and claims a table while drake gets a glass of whiskey, he brings Leo and Aria a beer. “This place hasn’t changed at all.” Aria observes sipping her beer. “How do you know this place?” Drake inquires. “I was here, five years ago. My best friend Ellie and I spent a summer abroad. We started in Italy and ended in France.” Aria tells him. “I actually met leo in italy that summer.” She sips her beer avoiding eye contact. “So thats what you meant, at the Beaumont party about it not being the first time you met.” Drake put two and two together. “We came here a few times.” Aria remembers the first time they came.

“I’m gonna warn you, I’m not that good at pool.” Aria confesses, holding the pool stick in her hand. “That’s ok, I can help you if you want.” Leo says handing her a drink. Aria doesn’t sink one ball. “Well I suck.” Aria chuckles drinking her beer. “ no, your just holding the stick wrong, here let me show you.” Leo slides up behind her, placing his hands on hers. He helps her make a shot. He backs away and takes his last shot. “Looks like I win.” he teases. “Ok, another game but this time lets make a wager.” Aria says a hint of mischief in her eyes. “A kiss. If you lose you have to give me a kiss.” Leo states “and if I win?” Aria inquires “dealers choice.” Leo says a little cocky. “You’re on.” Aria shakes his hand. “You wanna break?” Aria asks while setting the balls up. “Ladies first. ” Leo motions to the table. Aria lines the shot up and Crack! The balls fly across the table, she sinks 2 of them. Leo’s eye go wide as he watches her effortlessly run the table. “I believe I win.. time to pay up.” Aria boasts. “You sneak. You said you weren’t that good.. You failed to mention your a pool shark.” Leo’s mouth hangs open. Aria giggles “What do I have to do?” Leo asks nervously. “I believe you owe me a kiss.” Aria whispers in his ear. Leo grins as he takes her face in his hands. His lips press gently on hers as his tounge slips gently into her mouth. She gives completely in, she feels herself melt away, lightheaded they pull back. Leo flashes her a bright smile and just like that, she was hooked. 

“Ready to play?” Leo asked pulling her out of her thoughts. “Drake can play first game.” Aria nodded to the pool table. She took a moment to look at Leo, she forgot how handsome he looked in a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and that leather jacket. Flashing that bright big smile made her feel a little weak in the knees. Get a hold of yourself Aria. She thought to herself. She watched them play until drake walks up. “He cheats” Drake grumbled gulping down his whiskey. “Oh stop being a sore loser Walker, here do you want a hug?” Leo teased “I regret everything.” Drake huffed walking away to get another drink. 

“What do you say beautiful you and me?” Leo challenged. “The usual wager?” Her eyes perked. Leo smiled as she jumped down from the bar stool and walked over to the pool table. After a short game Leo lost, like he always did. “Well I guess I better pay up.” Leo saunters over with a sly smile. A lump forms in her throat, she gulps. As He leans in Drake walks over interupting the moment “hey guys I’m about ready to head out,you coming? He informs them. "Yep, let’s go. ” Aria sighs. Saved by drake she thought. It would have been awkward kissing your almost fiances brother, that was also your ex,in front of your former fiances best friend who also had a major crush on you… Yep her life was totally fucked up.

Once they arrived back at the hotel drake went towards his room while Leo and Aria went towards the lounge. “You know I really wasn’t ready to call it a night.” Aria sighed “who says we have to? We can go back to your room and hang out I’ll get us some booze, you distract the bar tender.” Leo grinned heading towards the bar. Aria smiles as she walks in after Leo,  And there they were.  Liam and Madeline looking quite cozy in a booth, alone. He had his arm around her, he was leaned in close. He didn’t even notice her staring at them but Madeline did. And then it happened, he leaned in and kisses her. Madeline gave Aria a side eye look and smirked. Arias blood boiled but she remained calm. Leo comes back “Hey what happened? Luckily the bartender was busy.” He said. “You got the stuff?” She asked, never taking her eyes off Liam. He pulls his jacket to the side revealing the bottle of rum.  Leo follows her gaze and sees Liam and Madeline in the middle of a seemingly passionate kiss.  Aria nods and pulls him by the hand. “Lets go!” As they rush past Liam looks up to see them hurry away.

Once they got to her room She grabbed the bottle of rum and took a swig. Fucking Madeline, who the fuck does she think she is? Aria thought to herself pacing the floor. “You going to share that?” Leo questioned. Aria took another swig and calmed herself down and handed him the bottle. He gives her a concerned look. “I’m fine.” She protest. “you sure? because it looks like your going to wear a hole in the carpet from pacing so much.” Aria stops pacing and walks over to the couch to sit down. 

They drink in silence for a little while before aria breaks it. “So you got married?” Leo choakes completely caught off gaurd. She shouldn’t have asked it, she knew better but curoiusty got the best of her. She wanted to know about the woman who landed Leo Rhys heart. She thought she had, but he told her it was just a fling. She was drunk and did not care. “I got divorced.” He countered her question. “Yes I know, but tell me about her, the woman who finally stole Leo Rhys heart.” Her words dripping with resentment. Leo narrowed his eyes at my her, and licked his lips. He could tell she was jealous, and he was loving every minute of it. “Katie was my wife, it lasted a year.” He tells her taking a swig of the rum.  “I met her when she was on a cruise, I thought she was sweet and funny. Turns out I was just lonely and she reminded me of someone, or so i thought.” He paused looking at her. “She was a whore who continued to see her two other suitors well after we got married. She ended up pregnant by one of them, so I left and filed for divorce.” He let out a breath he had been holding in.

 He did not want to talk about Katie, she was a huge mistake. “Fuck Leo, your just as fucked up as me.” Aria chuckled and pushed his arm. “Yeah I guess I am.” He agreed. “She didn’t steal my heart you know. I gave that away a long time ago. I never got it back.” He looks up at Aria searching her eyes. What does he mean by that? Gave it to who? God those eyes… Aria thought to herself..

I should probably get going, we have to be on the train pretty early.“ Leo broke the tension. "Oh, yeah you’re probably right, we should call it a night.” Aria agrees. she walks Leo over as he opened the door He turns to her. “You know, I do believe I owe you a debt.” He leans in and kisses her lips softly, Aria puts her hands around his neck and deepens the kiss. Their lips part and tongues do a familair dance. She can taste the rum in his kiss. He pulls away and smiles. “Good night beautiful.” Leaning in and giving her one last gentle kiss. “Goodnight super man.” Aria whispers as she shuts the door.

Drake went back to his room. Fumimg that Leo crashed his evening with Aria. He tossed and turned in the bed before giving up. He jumped up and put his clothes back on. His feet took him to the bar down stairs. “Whiskey neat.” He tells the bartender.

“Don’t you drink anything other then whiskey?” A familiar voice comes up behind. He turns to find Olivia. “Thought you left court, What are you doing here?” He questions  “Well, I’m here for answers. I want to find out who sent me that threatening letter.” She said sipping her glass of wine. “What are you doing here?”

Drake grumbles “planned a night out hanging with Aria.. but Leo crashed.” “So you were looking to get laid and Leo cock blocked you?” Olivia chucked to herself. Drakes silence was all the answer he needed. Olivia traced the rum of her glass with her finger. “You know we used to help each other out quite often.. perhaps we could help each other again?” Drake looks at Olivia contemplating her offer. He gulps down his whiskey and gets off the bar stool. Olivia jumps down and takes his hand as they head off towards her room.

Aria laid in her bed. Thoughts of the night running through her head. Liam turned her down, not once but three times this week.. to spend time with Madeline. And then she caught them kissing. She didn’t get it. If it was supposed to be a sham engagement why did he kiss Madeline? That kiss didnt look fake.  Why did he blow her off? And then there was the kiss with Leo. It left her light headed and weak in the knees. She was over him,wasnt she? It’s been 5 almost 6 years now. When he left he told her it was just a summer fling. She felt the hurt creep back into her body. Maybe she still harbored feelings, she suppressed them down determined to snuff them out and move on.. The irritating thought in the back of her mind what if they dont find tariq. What then? Will Liam marry Madeline? What happens to them? She couldnt be someones mistress, could she?  She didn’t know what was going on in her head or her life anymore, but she did know she was going to have to figure it all out before she let herself get hurt yet again. And she needed to start by getting everything off her chest, starting with Liam. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Ok let's see... its been about 3 weeks since i posted last, give or take a few days. And I'll just say its been an interesting and exhausting few weeks.

Still trying to completely get over my dumbf*ck feelings for Alex. I'm not really doing a super great job at that, and still get random depressive moments that last a varying amount of time, but usually i just push my pity party to the side after about 2 minutes.

On the 3rd of June, Alex went up to see part of her family and join them on a cruise to Columbia. She said wont be back until maybe the 3rd or 4th of July at the earliest. I kinda miss her, but I feel like spending a month physically apart from her will do me some good. Her and i still snap back and fourth to save our streak and to day good morning. Whenever she cant find wifi, she turns on her dad's personal hotspot so she can send me at least one snap to keep our streak rolling (we are the longest streak we have with anyone on our snapchats, and it stands currently at 261 days.) The day after she left the streak sorta died for the day, but she was able to save it cause she was in a different time zone.

Since she's been gone, we've hired several new people at work, many if which being new hosts (thank God tbh, cause this means after theyre all done training and get a couple weeks to get used to everything i can train as a server and hopefully make a little more money). One of them is Giovanni's sister (Gio is a guy that works there. Mostly does dish, sometimes hosts.) And apparently she likes me? About a week before she started they came in to eat with their mom and after they left Gio was like "Dude, i think my sister likes you."

Hey, some random girl actually has a crush on me for the first time in my life? That's cool! Right? It would be, if she weren't 17. If i were still 18 or 19, i wouldnt really care. But now that im 20, even though we only have a 2 year and almost 6 month age difference, i still feel like its weird. I feel like im in a whole new age threshold now that ive hit that 2 decade mark, and she just seems to me like a kid. Anyway, Sammy (thats her) is bi with a preference for girls. She's very forward about asking the girls at work about their sexuality (she'll be mid convo and just be like "wait; you straight?") She makes a hobby of flirting with the straight girls, because as she says it, she can easily flirt with straight girls bc she knows she wont have a chance. As soon as she knows theyre bi or gay, she cant even really talk to them. Sammy flirts with me in excess, has asked me 3 times if im straight, or if im sure that i am (homegirl has only been here like two weeks), and the reason why is because she would happily let me break her heart, and has said thats its too bad im not gay bc if i was she would let me crush her. Also has told me that i remind her of her ex girlfriend, and when i said idk if thats supposed to be a compliment or not, she said "well i really liked her, so..." Oh and btw all 3 times shes asked, I've told her im straight (yknow, bc im not out to the irl general public) and I'll just say that having to lie outloud about my sexuality does not feel that great. Thats not something ive ever had to verbally do before, and now i understand. Tbh i dont really lie, or at least i very rarely do, bc i dont like it, and i want to be seen as trustworthy. i have told my share of lies in my day, but i feel like that was in the top 3 worst lies ive ever told. Simply because i know thats not who i am, yet im saying it anyway.

Besides that, in these last couple weeks ive:

Gotten my computer hacked and almost got scamed out of the piddly $120 dollars total that is in my bank account for me to try to live off of until next Fridays paycheck, and almost got my brother's bank account hacked (looong f*ckin story. Short version, im a gotdang fool, and people are absolute bastards), so now i cant use my computer until i get it looked at, which means no art (sucks bc i wanted to draw myself a bi pride icon)

Put in 103 hours at work in the last 2 weeks

Had our only available car break down twice

Got about half of our kitchen painted. Still need to find time to finish it

Purchased tickets for a convention, and bought almost everything i need to finish my cosplay.

Have a sore in the back of my mouth thats been plaguing me for over a week (finally starting to heal. Its been hurting to do so much as talk, much less eat or drink)

Had to deal with everyone's attitudes at work (some sh*ts going on with the moon and everyones been a pissy ass lately, and im so over it)

The pain in the ass girl at work that we've been trying to get rid of for over a year called in and quit 15 minutes before her literal last shift (Father's day) and our proprietary manager told her "its bullshit that you just found out that your other job scheduled you to work today 15 minutes before you had to come here" and "dont try to come back to this store again". Im ecstatic about it tbqh and feel a small sense of victory about the whole thing.

One of my favorite gays from work had his last shift Saturday night and im still sad about it.

It may not seem like much but its just all around every other day something else small happened to add to the weird and crazy smorgasbord that is my life.

Also bless Sammy bc yesterday was Father's Day, and because of that, i was in the building of my work at 9:45am, started working to get set up at 10, opened around 10:50, and didnt stop until about 8:50pm, 10 minutes before we closed. Our proprietary manager bought us tons of pizza and snacks in the middle of our shift so that we could all take turns having a 10 minute breather, but other than that it was non-stop work and dedication to the customer. At 9:50am my brother went to the Duncan Donuts down the road from us to get the handful of morning people either coffee or bagels or whatever they asked for. I told my brother to get me the english muffin with egg and cheese, and if they had the option, to add sausage to it. Also to tell Sammy i said hi (because she works at that Duncan also, and was there yesterday morning). My brother comes back with breakfast, hands me my food and said that Sammy made it especially for me. (At that time i was also in a bad mood bc i was tired from working four open doubles in a row, and was stressed, so that really lifted my spirits a bit. The food, and the thought that someone made it especially for me.) And i'll just say she just earned my love for the next week at least.

Anyway i think thats all for now loves. I dont have a very eventful life, but i sure do have a busy one.

Jungkook looked down to see who had run straight into his chest only to find your tear stained face that was painted with fright, his first reaction was to insulate you with his strong arms and pushed you back into his chest, hugging you. He didn't know what else to do to make your panic and tears go away but nonetheless he wanted you to feel safer, because he was protective over you, and he was ready to fight whatever was chasing you no matter the consequences. When he felt you were a bit calmed down, he hesitated to ask you what was wrong or why you had been crying, not wanting to stir up the memory back in your mind. Neither of you know how much time passed by when he hugged you but only before separating you had hugged him back. You had never had comfort in that way from anybody but the long forgotten, you were startled at first but the heat that radiated from him instilled peacefulness in you, making you forget about the scene that unfolded earlier momentarily. "J-jungkook" you tried to push him away, afraid that somehow whatever happened before can still happen again, it seemed to follow her everywhere and Jungkook is the last person she would want to get hurt, even if she didnt know him. He didn't deserve it. "Do you wanna talk about it? What happened?" He looked at you with worried eyes that only made yours tear up, how can you even begin to explain this. No one would believe it. "I.. I dont even know" you stuttered, "You won't believe me because I cant believe it myself, its crazy" you wiped your tears with the back of your hand ready to turn around and walk away. "You can't just assume that... Try me" he reassured you. "I think... Someone tried to hurt me, she called me a witch and then s-she just died in my hands" you were shaking again, "Just like how Sally died, she had a number on her forehead again and I don't know what this means am I a murderer?!" "No, no you're not. You're not a witch either" he looked at you with gentle eyes. "You don't smell like them" he laughed, stunning you. "You... you dont think this is crazy?" You met his eyes. "No... it's not" he took a step closer, "I don't think its your fault either, that a person died in front of you unless you intended and physically done so". He brought his hands and cupped your cheeks "So don’t beat up yourself over it". 

"Why the hell do you smell like a dog?!" Seulgi had found you after you parted with Jungkook, he had finally left you alone after you insisted you were okay and had to go home alone, he resisted at first but agreed to it. "What?" Was your only reply, why is everyone accusing you of smelling strange, you couldn't pick up anything. "You know what. I dont even care. Keep walking". The drive back home was quiet, Seulgi glanced you some strange looks but mainly kept her eyes on the road. You thought her company was over you reached your new home, but she had gotten out of the car and locked it, following you in to the house. You were both met with a Jimin sitting on the black couch, his eyes darted upwards as he saw you enter. "Hey babe" Seulgi behind you greeted him and raced you into the living room to give him a kiss, he didn't seem to be fond of it but didn't look like he minded either. You excused yourself and went upstairs to not disturb anyone even further. The night unfolded and you grew hungrier, you had barely anything to eat but some food samples in the market and forgot your appetite after the eventful afternoon. You had decided to go downstairs to find something to eat but your plans were disrupted when you hear moans from downstairs. "Jimin don't stop!" You hear Seulgi's voice, followed by a loud moan. You were disturbed. The image of them doing such a personal activity disgusted you. They had no shame and didn't even care to acknowledge your existence for not taking it upstairs and giving you some space. Yet again, you forget that you were just captive and your life was a ticking bomb at his hands. You dont know how much time had passed before they've stopped, but you managed to gather some courage to go downstairs. As you walked down the steps you glanced around to see if there's anyone there, you thought you were alone before Seulgi jumped into view. She was barely covered and there was a bite mark on the base of her neck. "Did I tell you Jimin-ah, your little friend here smelt like a dog this morning, all in the intimate places" she smirked. "She, what?" Jimin came into view. "It was him wasn't it?" He asked looking slightly annoyed. "I don't know what you're talking about" you said, "I wasn't playing around with a dog, I stumbled upon Jungkook by coincidence in the market and we spoke a little"

“Spoke about what?” he glared at you, “Do you think that all of this is some joke?” he scoffed. 

“You said to not make it obvious that I got kidnapped, what am I supposed to do?! Everything I do ticks you off so just kill me already and get it over with” you don’t know where you gathered this sudden courage, “I’m tired of this, I just want to be at peace” you let tears slip through as you remember the deaths at your hand. 

You expected Jimin to threaten or even worse choke you but to death this time, but he didn’t say anything. He looked at you for longer than a moment, almost as if he was analysing you before walking away, with Seulgi closely following behind. 

You stood there for a minute, took a deep breath in and walked to the kitchen looking through the cupboards and quickly cooking up a meal. As you stood by the stove you contemplated living another day, if you were going to die why don’t you just die right now, why should you wait for it. The more days that pass the more pain you experience, with Sally gone your life was gone too. 

Everything after that happened in a blur, you remember taking out a knife from the knife-station just within your arms reach and after that all you saw was blood coming from the main artery in your forearm and slowly you felt yourself going unconscious, until you were met with the familiar blond, with bright red eyes and then darkness. 

It was so difficult to see your blood everywhere and not have the temptation to drink you empty. All it took was a few drops of his blood to heal you. Jimin was upstairs in a heated argument with Seulgi, she was never meant to let you out of her sight and she’s done exactly that. You could’ve ran away or had been taken by somebody, your ‘gift’ was quickly spreading as the word of town, a lot of people are finding out how precious taking your life is. When he sensed your heart beat quickly beating and smelt the sweet scent of your blood he knew something had gone wrong.

He had taken you upstairs to your room and laid you on the bed. He would be so angry if he didn’t pity you a little bit, he didn’t have time to waste feeling sorry for you as he had business to deal with. Jungkook.

“Jungkook” Jimin spitted, he knew where to find where he and his group of dog friends were. They weren’t difficult to trace given his supernatural scent and Jimin’s supernatural abilities. 

“Look who’s here... Is that you Jimin?” Jungkook grinned, people might think he was really happy to meet Jimin but he knew him too well, their relationship dates back and things were never good between them. 

“Don’t get too happy Jungkook, I didn’t come here to play. That’s what humans are for” Jimin smirked. 

“This brat is really asking to die” said one of Jungkook’s pact, someone Jimin can recognise to be Namjoon. 

Jimin disregarded him and continued. 

“I thought I made things clear when I told you to not cross paths with me ever again if you wanted to still have your tail” Jimin continued. 

“Yet you don’t fucking learn lessons do you, bad dogy” he laughed. 

Jungkook stood up and walked to the shorter man, Jimin knew well how to work him up with comments like these. He was no dog, he was a werewolf. He wasn’t going to stand there and accept demeaning comments from a blood sucker. 

“Why? Did Y/N smell good” he laughed.

“If I see you around her one more time, I swe-” his eyes went a deep shade of red,

“Look. I could care less about your empty threats, if you were going to do something then do it now. Be a man for fucking once” Jungkook said through gritted teeth.

“Besides, it’s not my problem if your bitches can’t keep their hands off me” he shrugged with a smirk plastered on his face. 

And that was all that had to be said to tick Jimin off. Hell broke loose. 

Jimin had superhumanly pushed Jungkook back, causing him to hit the ground with a thud. He had quickly hovered above him to land his fists onto his face aiming for his nose. It was only seconds until Jungkook’s mates gathered to flip Jimin around and start attacking him. Jungkook had managed to turn into his superhuman form and join the fight.

You woke up in cold sweat and you were really thirsty. You recalled what you had done before you passed out but when you lifted the long sleeve of your sweater, there were no wounds and no dressing. Was it Jimin’s work? Didn’t he want you dead? 

You were in the kitchen when you heard the front door open and somebody walking inside. You had peeked into the hallway in attempt to see who it only to find Jimin glancing at you. He looked like he was in pain, he walked slightly crooked before he stood in front of you. You had not realised you were between him and the wall until he placed one of hands on it, making you flinch on the process. He seemed to notice it and his gaze softened before he leaned onto you further. 

You were stunned, you had been in this position in his room the night before but the feeling was completely different. The environment around you still beamed with tension, although different from the last, at least for you... It was.

p5 thoughts

After having drawn so much fanart of p5 (most of it being Yusuke) before the game even came out, even with my hype when I started playing on the release date, I only FINALLY finished persona 5 OTL

Below will be my mini-review and thoughts on the game?? spoilers are gonna here on the entire game

Total playtime - 87 hours 40 minutes

OK this is gonna be disorganized mess but i will try to be .. not messy Story: The story unfortunately was very weak :(  Like the game had an AMAZING start and it was tackling really important issues. I really started to care about Ryuji and Ann and their goals. Then Yusuke joins and I thought the game was just heading in perfect direction. Then I felt off during Kaneshiro’s arc as Makoto did not really feel .. really into the whole PT thing?? sorry Makoto fans i love her but she felt rly overrated... anyway Futaba’s arc no doubt was my favorite but then the game really started falling apart. like lets not talk about the whole series of events that were Morgana leaving the team that was straight up BAD. the pacing picked up a bit for the Casino dungeon and it was really intense then its Shido and thing kinda... fell back into this weird pacing ... Ah yes, let’s just wait 20 days to see if Shido has a change of heart or we die. After that the pacing was still all over the place then the huge plottwist happens. I knew about it but still liked it! The last arc had on point emotions and feels so it felt like a good ending to the game.  SEVERE PACING ISSUES KILL THE GAME FOR ME THOUGH.   I get that they still wanted the calendar system but honestly i dont think it worked any huge favors for the game . .. anyway yeah the game started amazing then dropped close to death then picked up again but not as good as the beginning Characters: I have not managed to finish a lot of confidants so near the end the parts where confidants help out it was .. very lacking lol .. . if that part wasnt so depended on the confidants that you have finished.... But overall the characters were good. Pacing of the story and the story itself did not do any justice to them I think and it feels bad bc everyone had so much potential but having a big cast it was obvious that not everyone was getting the attention they deserved Ryuji - good bro and I loved him but the middle part of the game and the constant “we gotta get the girls!” moments were so . . ugh ...  confidant rank and beginning of game ryuji was absolute best though Ann - same goes for her as with ryuji that the beginning of the game was best characterization moment for her. I liked her a lot and she’s pretty bro for female heroine! but the constant fanservice kills me guys Morgana - boy did i dislike morgana for the most of the game. he really felt like teddie 2.0 at times and i just did not have a lot motivation to like him. Last arc of the game tho?? i love morgana??? i wanna cry tbh those parts near the end really resonated with me so my final verdict is that i like morgana a lot now Yusuke - I LOVE THIS BOY. while i get the beef that people have with his recruitment arc (the whole nude modeling thing) I thought it was ok since my interpretation is that he was just pissed and really needed that inspiration he found in ann but idk. otherwise his arc was good but goddamn fuck you atlus for continuously treating him like a weirdo?? PT is supposed to be a gang of misfits and yet even the teammates keep treating him like a weirdo. . that was just really bad like come on  let me kiss yusuke and feed him. also will never forgive atlus for not letting yusuke move into leblanc. He’s a very good character and very level-headed so i love him sm. he has really great moments Makoto - I liked her a lot! i do think she’s a bit overrated and that she doesn’t fit well with PT but I think that’s just the issue with Atlus pacing of the story, because her issues during her recruitment were really good (as in i did feel like she would fit into PT well) Futaba - I LOVE THIS GIRL!! I played with jpn dub which I think does much better justice to her characterization. Her entire arc was so so good and I felt like she was a really solid character going through growth. her confidant was very very good. She has a lot of funny moments and I love her antics with Yusuke. they are the blessed characters of this game. too good for this game. Haru - love her too!!!! she was so nice and sweet but damn atlus did not do her justice at all. she is the “last” party member to join and it is so sad she does not get a lof interaction with PT. like I wish PT interacted with her somehow throughout the game before she joins, be it like help her out sometimes or something bc they go to same school so when she joins later the team dynamic can easily accept her. Goro - we dont talk about goro jk but honestly he was handled bad. his link was automatic and I get why but his initial personality just makes me hate him a lot. he was cool as a party member but not for long. I expect him to appear in spinoffs bc wtf was that ending for him goddamn atlus. i like a lot his potential as a character but everything else? hate Sae was for me quite funny during the interrogation (when you start the confidant parts) but after her casino her involvement in the story I really ended up liking Sae. she’s good Also gonna mention Sojiro bc i love that coffee dad. His dynamic with Futaba and protagonist was extremely good!!! such a solid family. I loved that he finds out the truth and how he handled it. love u sojiro Speaking of protagonist, I really really really wish atlus would ease up on the “silent protagonist” a bit more. for a game as huge as this, the silence does not do justice to the protagonist. idk i just wish there would have been a bit more voice to him and solid characterization other than some off-hand comments that imply the underlying personality. i get the whole “self-insert” part but it sucks stop putting it in games Overall character summary: pacing sucked so characterization suffered a lot. a lot of characters don’t get their time to shine and while I love them a lot it really sucks to see how they were treated. Pacing ruined a lot of things including team dynamic. Palaces: (in chronological order) Kamoshida/Castle - IT SUCKED I HATE IT. being the first freaking dungeon it sure was extremely hard and damn long. also not knowing about the calling car system really hurt lmao. i just hate this dungeon and i got stuck there a lot too Madarame/Art Museum - THE BEST ONE! Honestly I think it is the only palace that really did feel like a heist! It is a very beautiful palace and im probably also biased bc its Yusuke’s arc but this palace was legit fun to get through. Kaneshiro/Bank - it was ok, good music. i don’t really feel much for it and I was just mostly annoyed how long the vault part was. Futaba/Pyramid - I loved it  a lot too! 10/10 music I had a lot of annoyances with coffin shadows and the puzzles for a bit but overall the music and aesthetics really made the palace work well with the story Okumura/Spaceship - we don’t talk about the “lunch break” parts.... overall it was ok and I liked its aesthetic. also the implications about the workers there was good sad material. Sae/Casino - 10/10 music. overall i disliked it a lot bc some of the parts really dragged and I hated gambling in there to progress. Shido/Ship - 10/10 music. overall i liked it / it was ok. the mouse mechanic was a bit fun, the last part being ... 3 boss fights in a row without saving was sure something. 10/10 creepy outside aesthetic of sunken city. Mementos Depths - not to be confused w/ p3/4 style dungeon we know as mementos (which were pretty much mindless fun to progress thru), the depths was ... so good. mostly for the creepy aesthetic 10/10 would suffer again. the music track Freedom and Security, that plays during goro’s bad end credits, plays as the theme for this dungeon and jeez did it make me feel so emo. the parts where you can talk to locked up people who are apathetic to the world just gave me depression and i loved it.. . i didnt really like the later part of it (when tokyo merges with mementos) To rank the palaces overall its:  Art museum > Mementos Depths > Pyramid >> Ruse Cruise > Spaceship > Casino > Bank >>>>>> Castle Gameplay mechanics were very solid and fun. Movement a bit could be clunky (or that’s what i felt like) and stealth mechanic in dungeons was ok. The gameplay has A LOT of attention to detail and i appreciated it a lot. UI was cluttered but it worked and was quite Aesthetic. I think the game would have benefited if the stats weren’t so important to the social aspect or if the calendar system was revamped. Final boss imo was not as bad as P4 but still ... sucked. P3′s final boss fight is still ultimately my favorite. P5 comes close but once again, pacing issues. Protagonist summoning freaking Satanael was cool af though. Honestly my big issue with P5 was the PACING that made the story and characters suck a lot of times but overall the game was extremely solid and memorable.  Of the persona entries i played i think P5 is special so I can’t really rank it. I am really attached to the game despite its heavy flaws that kill me. P3 and P2 are still quite my favorites but P5 is like really close to them so I guess it’s a fave too i love those phantom thieves

Top five worst Sonic Archie issues

So a while back me and @greenyvertekins​ talked a bit about our favorite Sonic Archie moments, I was thinking of doing a TOp five/top ten favorite Sonic archie issues but honestly the moments I and Greenyvertekis mentioned were pretty much my favorite/best issues. So if you want to read here! most of them are also from the best written arcs so .....

Then I thought, wouldn’t it be fun to do a top five WORST Sonic arche issues instead? :) (warning Im from the Netherlands so my English is bad, feel free to spell correct me!)

Number 05 Issue 172

Going pretty low in the list because despite this being one of  my least favorite issues it should be noted that this was the start from the comic getting better and better at this point, this ugly-face just was the blacksheep from that collection.

Not only was the cover a bad reminder that the comic was seen as bad-furry-romance-drama which I really hoped the comic wanted to distant itself from it, the entire issue is a sadlyalso  bad-furry-drama. It starts off with Amy Rose confronting Fiona Fox about the rumors that she heard from Tails that she is cheating on Sonic with Scourge, (the Green Edgy Sonic recolor) Now the story of Fiona Fox is a pretty sad one, she never had much of a character to begin with. She was first introduced as a robot in her child form to lure Tails into a trap. It turns out that Eggman based her off a real person: Fiona Fox who someway or another was left behind by Mighty and Sonic in Eggman’s prison and she manage to escape but stil holding a grudge and got angry at them for it, That is mostly what I remember her from in the past issues. From then on she would just be background character number 55 a freedom fighter with no dialog, the only times I sort of remember her was that she liked the idea of using guns, and that Sonic was afraid for Tails to be rejected by the too-old-for-you girl Fiona.Sonic wanted to talk to FIona about this issue and she mentions she still thinks SOnic is selfish for leaving her behind but that his sacrifice in issue 125 made her change her mind somewhat, That’s it. Now the weird story behind Fiona is that Karl Boilers planned to use her as a second-love interest for Sonic after Sonic broke up with Sally. Sonic was supposed to enter a relationship with Amy Rose shortly after the Sonic/Sally break up. (Keep in ind that Amy Rose back then was still 10 years old mentally at that time YIKES.) and Fiona for whatever reason was to become a rival to Amy for Sonic’s affections. Now Ken Penders apparently interfered with this idea and Karl and Ken changed it into...Fiona Fox becoming Sonic’s girlfriend instead...out of the blue....out of nowhere. At least with Amy you knew she had a crush on Sonic but with Fiona? why would Sonic ever enter a relationship with a girl he hardly interacted with and with a girl his best friend was crushing on? ..moving on various issues later and writer Karl Boilers and Ken Penders were no longer on board and new writer Ian Flyn entered into the picture it was by then far too late to clean up this mess and I could tell from the comic’s writing that Ian wasn’t sure what to do with Fiona, he tried to give her a more Sally-personality with a bad history but that felt tripped and forced. He knew he had to break the two characters off and he thought the best way to do that was to reveal that Fiona Fox became a bad-girl who fell in love with Scourge due to the events off Sonic 150 (dont worry that issue will be brought up later)

Not only did this came out of no where, it felt forced even if Fiona had no character it felt like she really was just a pawn of a writer not sure what to do with her. It also didnt help that the issue ends in a weird anticlimatic way  and in the next issue most of the characters dont even talk or seem to be phazed with Fiona’s betrayel and  Sonic would be slightly flirtatious with Sally and Amy in the next issue too, (Really Sonic you just got dumped.) The issues saving grace is a cute side story with Amy Rose and Julie Su training together and some decent/good art overall.

Number 04 Knuckles the Echidna issue 32

Yes Knuckles does count as part of the Sonic series, and if the list would be Knuckles comic focused this would have been number one. Not only was this the last issue of probably the most boring arc I ever read It also nailed the coffin on the Knuckles series as it was canned after this issue. It introduced two very uncreative very Un-SegaSonic like characters: Monk and Hunter whose design and motivations are as generic as you can imagine. Ken Penders tries to make you feel for the Monk-character but I dont think anyone was convinced. I own this issue as well and HONESTLY I forgot I even read this issue as a child it was that forgettable, even in my Knucklesfangirl phase as soon as I finished reading the last 3 issues I forgot about it, It also doesnt help that the covers while nicely drawn by Galan were cluttered and too busy, Ken Penders did the book’s art and while he did a perfect job drawing Hunter his cartoon characters were always off-model and the way he draws large mangaeyes didn’t look well. In other words the art wasnt good either.

I only remember these issues  because of @hedgehogscantswim​ review, which I suggest you guys read into as they go into much greater depth on their blog on the flaws of the art, the character designs of Monk and Hunter and the overall big problem the last issue has.  

Number 3 Sonic issue 134

Oh Yeah let’s talk about the big one, let’s talk about the issue that caused many Sonic fans to drop the comic, lets talk about the issue that split the fanbase in half and what made the Sonic-Archie comics the laughing stock of Sonic spin offs for years to come until Ian Flyn joined and the much later soft-Reboot. If the Sally/Sonic/Mina love drama didn’t convince people that the comic had badfurryromance drama this issue sure did.

Sonic sacrificed himself in issue 125 to save the world,  but was transported to a different planet cause science, he survived and had space adventures with Aliens, met up with Tails parents somehow...(Really those issues are all a blur too me at this point.) he came back to Mobuis only to discover a year has passed since then, he reunites with his nowwithlonghair girlfriend Sally and by issue 125, Sally makes it clear to Sonic that she wants him by his side as she is sort-of forced by her parents to no longer be on the battle field. However Sonic cant possibly do that, he is the hero after all, he cant be tied down Sally clearry suffering from trauma after Sonic’s death begs him to stay by her side, Sonic  tearfully tells her he can’t and Sally takes Sonic’s rejection pretty well and says that she knows being a hero is in Sonic’s blood and decides to reject her parents wishes and join her boyfriend and the rest of her friends on the battle field.

No wait Never mind, she SLAPS him across the face and calls him Selfish and breaks up with him afterwards.

Not only did this issue came in the worst possible time when the Sonally/Sonamy ship wars was rampant in the Online Sonic fandom communities. The motivation and reason for Karl Boilers to do this was in such a bad taste as well. Karl who MOST Likely was aware of the growing popularity of the Sonamy ship and the hatred the sonamy fanbase had for Sally, from people calling her a marry sue, a slut because her lack of pants, ugly due to her brown color sceme, and other funny-horrible things because shipping is serious business, Probably wanted to win and be favored by a part of the Sonic fan base and had outlined plans to have Sonic and Amy Rose become an official couple in the comics. (Even if Karl wrote Amy Rose as a 10 year old mentally girl with a body of a 12 year old together with a 17 year old teen Sonic.) They had to become a couple. How to do this you ask? by breaking Sonic/Sally up and portraying  Sally out to be a selfish cunt of a woman, not only was this so disgustingly out of character and a slap to the face to the sonally and Sally fans, it was all to make the fans to transaction to the idea of Sonamy instead. It didnt help Sally’s position in the fanbase and she along with Chris and Elise would be among the list of the most hated characters where extreme Sonamy fanbrats now had valid proof on their side.It would take years for Sally to recover. To add insult to injury the only nice thing about the issue is the introduction of new artist John Gray (whose animish-cartoondisneyish style was colorful, pleasant and very pleasing to the eye! was more then needed at that time since the art quality standards was low back then. )John has stated he did NOT like working on this issue either due to the content and story. I am so thankful that Sally has been much better written for years now.

Number 02 Sonic Super Special issue 07 Crossover with Image Comics

Where to start with this, oh boy oh boy. I put this very high on the list because this has to be one of the worst crossovers spin ofss I have ever had the pleasure of reading. and I mean that the Powerrangers/TMNT crossover was more enjoybale that this mess. This is also very high on the list not only because the art was below average and many characters were off models but Mister Ken Penders used this crossover special to shoehorn his own ‘’characters’ from his comic book series the Lost Ones. (who btw got canned after only volume 01) his characters got the most attention out of everyone else. A image-comics with Sonic crossover already sounds sort of weird and silly but hey I am Spawn fangirl, I am intrigued. But I dont even get that.

(oh wait, this is fucking it, Spawn appears for about a page to say no to Sonic and then leaves thats it??) FOR FUCK SAKE....

Honestly @robotnikholmescomicblog​ gave this comic a great review and I suggest going to their tag of Ken-Penders-Why as they bring out most of the flaws of Ken Penders writing and they said it better then I ever will.

Overall the issue is just a mess, with shallowcheap cameos of image characters, Sonic and the freedom fighters being DICKS to most of the human characters for no reason, a very anti climatic ending and a giant commercial for Ken Penders doomed and boring characters that nobody gave a dam about) characters that he planned to use in ‘’The Lost ones’’ and Knuckles 20 years later. With a character hinting to become Knuckles’s greatest enemy yet with a very ugly boring design that could rivals Hunter. (btw none of these concepts go anywhere, Lost Ones was canned, and Knuckles 20 years later didnt come in fruition the way Ken Penders wanted.)

and number 5, worst issue Sonic issue 150

This is my most least favorite issues up to date and why you might ask

well for one thing the art is okay, I give it that but it doesnt even start with Sonic,

no we get a quick-reveal  of AntiSonic pretending to be the real Sonic flirting with all the girls in knothole

We get uncomfortable panels of Mina Mongoose almost cheating on her boyfriend with Sonic, Sonic and Bunnie making out and falling asleep next together, Sonic being creepy at Amy ect and none of the girls seem to realize that this is obvious not the real Sonic but ANti-Sonic. Everbody fails to notice that Sonic is  trying to flirt with all the girls he gets his eyes on. Only Tails seems to quistion it. Shows how much his own friends seem to know him. Or his own freaking family. The real Sonic is stuck in anti-mobuis and is busy trying to convince them that he is not AntiSonic, it’s very boring and dull. Also since the real Ant was stuck in anti Mobuis couldn’t he have tried to come back to his own world with Sonic? I dont know that just confused the heck out of me, The extra side story also doesn’t help, Its the conclusion to TailS ‘’the Chosen One’’ which was,,,pretty lame too with bland-art, and has the unfortunate of introducing the fanbase to the still-hilarious Titan Tails

It’s THE 150 anniversary issue and this is how Karl and Ken apparently wanted to celebrate it? It also doesn’t help that the cover is really underwhelming and boring compared to the 125th issue but that’s it’s least of its problems. A short while later Ian Flyn and Tracey joined the team and Ken and Karl left. For the better. But talk about a lame way to celebrate a 150th milestone. What a waste.

The answer I seem to get is it can be statistically proven that males are more aggressive,speed and get into more accidents. My wife and I are in our 40's and 50's. We have created A/B trusts and transferred our assets to them, and expect to have estates that will benefit from the estate tax saving these trusts afford. We recently both purchased $1M 10-year renewable term life insurance policies that we expect to keep for 10 years. We chose not to use life insurance trusts because the purpose of the policies is to replace the lost income of the deceased spouse if one of us dies relatively soon, not to increase our final estate, and the trusts are somewhat costly. We each specified our own trusts as the beneficiaries, because we want the disposition of assets specified there to be used for this money. The trusts provide for the income, and principle if needed, to be paid to the spouse, and for the remainder to be paid to our child at the remaining spouses death. The question of ownership of the policies is less clear. My lawyer says that it doesn't make much difference who owns them, because the value (estate) taxed is only one year's premium, not the $1M. My accountant says that the $1M is taxed, and that each policy should be owned by the other spouse to avoid tax on that amount. A friend said that there's no way to avoid or significantly decrease the tax, so just leave the ownership as is (each spouse owns their own policy). A further fly in the ointment is that the insurance company (Massachusetts SBLI) makes some forms of trust ownership more difficult and costly. I'm confused. What ownership is the best? the decision to keep everything in one building (literally every shot, there isnt a single other location featured in the film) and focus on one character meant that their small budget went MUCH farther than it usually would in the special effects department, and made the film just generally look head-and-shoulders better than some other comparable-budget films.

it occasionally had moments that felt exposition-y, or where the tension dropped a bit too much, or where our main character’s actions felt out of place(when she’s talking to officer pierce, for example, and right before this scene she was VERY shaken up and VERY determined to get other cops to fuckin Believe Her Already, so her lack of cooperation or willingness to share details with him and encouraging him to leave was all like... what? you are asking cops to come there and stay with you and now one will but you want him to...leave? what?)

another major flag is the ending. i wouldn’t call the ending a FLAW, but it is... hmm. it’s. well. hm.

it’s a plot twist that feels like it would’ve been new and inventive back in the 70s. but it’s ALSO handled with much greater care and quality and talent than this twist is usually given. the entire film takes time to really force you to question your perception of events, and the ending DEFINITELY makes you question what you think happened and how you interpret things...

but god it just didnt feel all that satisfying! plus it leaves me with questions. not with general perception questions but with logical, calculating, “what makes this world tick” type questions

why did she hear her father? was he genuinely contacting her to try and help her, was she hallucinating him, or were the other ghosts just putting on his voice to try and fuck with her and keep her in the station?

why did pierce ACT like that at the end? it was so taunting, so mocking, the way he put his fingers in his mouth and mimed blowing his brains out... only to actually blow out his brains as some spooky Ghost Effect. he literally repeated his earlier line “i’m not fuckin’ with you, i swear” as if HE was part of the grand reveal, but does this mean he was working with the ghosts(as in, somehow in death he realized they were right and joined them, or was just tortured into compliance or some such) or that his image was being worn around, but that’s NOT ACTUALLY HIM? is it maybe not his spirit/soul/whatever that we see, but instead another mirage sent to distress our leading lady?

why did they seem to be converting her/welcoming her into the family? why did they seem to have pulled the murdered girls into their fold as well? were they right all along, and not actually part of a cult but instead just... literally right and now others that die are realizing the same and joining them in death?

i understand that he said he “liked” loren’s father, that he said he would come back and take everything he loved. i even understand him coming back from hell to torment this girl. but then why act welcoming, and why would she begin singing their murder song in the final moments of her death?? unless the action wasn’t welcoming so much as simply claiming her... marking her in some fashion(or unless you believe she hallucinated the entire event, in which case the final scene probably IS her dying brain’s interpretation of “i have been claimed by these ghosts and am going to hell now and here is how they claim me, putting this sheet over my face to strip me of my identity”)

why did the Main Bad Dude say “just let me die”? is he suffering in hell too? is it not what he thought? why even come back in this specific manner, as this homeless man, why scream in fear when he sees his two dead family members as well as HIMSELF hanging in that isolation cell with bags on their heads? to get her attention? to scare her further?

did he come back ONLY to claim her in some fashion and bring the remaining living members of his family down for a road trip to hell?

WHEN DID ALL THIS TAKE PLACE????? because they say that monica young died A YEAR ago, which implies that the entire paymon police showdown only happened a year ago. but everybody ACTS like it’s been a long time, SHE acts like she last saw her father when she was young, why would she be so fuzzy about the details of a case that happened so recently(even if they didn’t tell the news everything)? plus, there needs to have been enough time for the paymons to get caught, commit suicide, people to start noticing the building being haunted, AND the police chief dude asking for a new building, AND for all his pleading to finally be heard, AND for the new building to be finished

and you’re tellin’ me they did that shit in ONE YEAR? but also marigold didn’t seem old enough to have been in isolation right next to the paymons if it had been a while ago(or at least like it’d be pushing it, age-wise) so it feels like NOTHING in this movie really tracks wrt timelines. the more i examine the timeline the less of a grip i have on it

was cohen evil or simply incompetent? was he in cahoots with the ghosts or was he simply a worthless human garbage sack who is literally responsible for the death of every single sanitation worker there and should be put on death row????? its one of those two. either hes evil cuz he works with ghosts or hes evil because he:

-learned that building was haunted

-pressured his superiors to get them a new building

-got MULTIPLE calls from his rookie(literally her first day on the job!!) stating that she was seeing things that werent there and that she wasn’t ok and she needed him to come down

-he responded with “ok well if i have to come down there Youre Fired”

-???? what. what did he fucking expect. her to Magically Stop Seeing Things(ghost-induced or not) through the Sheer Power of Fear Over Loosing Her Job????????????

i suppose it’s possible that the stuff about the building being haunted and the dude pressuring higher ups for a new one could’ve also not been a real conversation but he STILL got multiple calls from a rookie officer saying that she felt unsafe, wasn’t thinking clearly, needed help, and was seeing things(she literally said the words I’m Seeing Things) like dude. asshole. come the fuck on

and most importantly:: WHO WAS PHONE??????

i kid, i kid. all of this complaining aside, i genuinely enjoyed 99% of the film, and it even managed to scare me with a dollar store halloween mask on the back of a dude’s head. the ending is one that i cant honestly tell if i like or not, but i cant argue that it doesnt fit with the rest of the film. it was Good Movie i think maybe check it out sometime
