I turned 40 years old yesterday and this is how I chose to do it, by throwing axes. Keep in mind some people got the hang of it right away, but it took others (me) close to two hours to figure out their technique. Which involves holding the axe so the blade was facing me. Maybe it was the fear of seeing the axe blade coming towards my face, but I hit the middle of the target 🎯 Thank you everyone who joined me at trying to throw axes and for making it a memorable day. A special “thank youse” to @tsunamanda for organizing this at @badaxethrowing in Surrey. I DEFINITELY want to do this again. Almost every year we would go to Las Vegas and one of my favorite places to visit was @bangerbrewing. The El HEFE is one of my beers. It’s the only Jalapeño beer I’ve ever had.
