Here comes our dear chaos gremlin. The secretary for the Student Council, Kokichi Ouma

As the Ultimate Supreme Leader of Class 78, Kokichi Ouma is an anomaly to his classmates. He irritates them with his childish pranks and ridiculous lies. He never gives the same answer whenever anyone asks him about himself or his organization. Some even question whether Hope’s Peak Academy made the right call with his talent as he seemed more suited to be the Ultimate Liar.

Needless to say, it still shocks people that he is chosen to be the secretary for the Student Council.

Kokichi seems to be quite close to the Student Council members... in his own way. Hajime does praise his work despite the antics Kokichi puts him through, and Nagito is often more patient with him.

Outside of Hope’s Peak, Kokichi only lets his mask slip a little around his organization named DICE. DICE is formed by circumstance and held strong through their shared goals and love for each other. To Kokichi, it’s a family he will risk anything to protect.

If anyone asks him about it though, he will claim its a lie and go with whatever will entertain him the most. And right now, the drama in the Student Council room is the most entertaining thing he has seen yet.

Time for the other half of our tsundere couple. Here is my character blorb for Nagito Komaeda, the Ultimate Lucky Student of Class 77-B.

Nagito Komaeda is an interesting mix of contradictions. Most people might not know who he is depending on who you ask. To most, he is a student attending Hope’s Peak Academy as the Ultimate Lucky student. However, he is also well-known within the elite circles thanks to his working partnership with the Togami corporation. If anyone asked him how he got to this point, he will simply answer that it’s because he is lucky.

Nagito’s life has been caught in a neverending cycle of luck for as long as he can remember. He has experienced far more loss, pain, and suffering than most of his peers. However, that does not mean he had a bad childhood.

Nagito can still remember his mother thanking him for watering the garden. He remembers how his father smiled as Nagito played with his dog. He remembers spending time with Yoshiya whenever their families meet up. He keeps them all close to his heart because he knows from experience that his luck takes everyone he loves away from him.

All the trauma he goes through has not cause him to waver on the belief that hope blooming from the pain and despair from each event. He has found hope in the people he meets and uses his resources to help them reach their potential. He believes that he will be able to witness hope shine better with everything he has to offer.

What he doesn’t expect is to find the same budding hope within a Reserve Course student, someone marked for a simple meaningless life. And yet, Nagito is drawn to that hope and wonders what it would take for him to claim it for himself. Perhaps, a confession from that Reserve Course upstart is a good place to start...

You know what, I made so many infodumps that I might as well do a character introduction for each of them here. The first blorb will be for the pricky half of our tsundere couple.

Hajime Hinata is the first Student Council President from the Reserve Course. He is the older twin, being born 16 minutes earlier than Izuru. He lives with their father in their childhood home in Edogawa ever since his parents divorced.

Hajime is intelligent and very driven, usually brute forcing his way through a lot of problems through wits and sheer will power. However, he is also seen as stubborn and aggressive among some of his peers. Because of that, Hajime has a hard time forming deeper relationships with others.

Although Hajime loved his family, his childhood wasn’t that easy. He was compared to Izuru a lot while they were growing up. It took more for him to understand or do things that Izuru could already accomplish. However, he never resented Izuru for this and remains very close to his twin.

Because of his childhood, he is constantly striving to prove himself. It’s his determination that got him placed in the top 3 of the entrance exam for the Hope’s Peak Reserve Course. With a little help from his brother for a scholarship, he finally gets to attend one of the most esteemed schools in Japan.

During his first year, he becomes close to Izuru’s classmates and notices the disparity between the two courses. Instead of letting that bitterness consume him, he works with Izuru to help change the status quo. Coincidentally, Hajime becomes the unofficial voice for the Reserve Course until he gets elected to be the student council president.

He has supporters and dissenters on both sides, but he manages to keep his cool thanks to help from his friends and the other members of the student council. Now, if he could only get that arrogant Ultimate to confess...

My "The Hopelessly Talented and the Hope-filled Talentless" AU now lives rent-free in my mind so I'll share some background stuff for some of these kids

Hajime and Izuru are twins, Hajime is the older sibling by 16 minutes.

Their parents divorced just before they started junior high and Izuru was taken by their mother who remarried.

Although neither of them believe in twin ESP, both Hajime and Izuru have had moments when they were in sync with each other.

They could also sense when the other is in distress even if they are on different parts of the city. Hajime would get more irritated when Izuru is in distress, and Izuru would act clingier towards Hajime if he sensed distress from Hajime.

As all of Nagito's known relatives are dead, he worked with a trusted financial advisor to start up his investments before he partnered up with the Togami conglomerate.

Nagito currently has two people he is close with outside of Hope's Peak Academy, Kirumi Tojo and Yoshiya Kiryu.

Kirumi has a father in Osaka that she had cut contact with after she started attending Hope's Peak Academy.

Although Kokichi is the leader of DICE, the other members treat him more like a younger sibling most of the time, even those who are the same age or younger than him.

Izuru, Hajime, and Chiaki are gaming buddies. Chiaki knows the best meta strategies and what the best items are, Izuru is methodical and tactical in his gaming approach, while Hajime is best at communicating with teammates and NPCs.

I might go into more detail about their pasts here or maybe in a later fic. I haven't decided, but I'm having a lot of fun with all of this ^^

Time to introduce the super evil secret organization, DICE

A group of misfits brought together because of revenge and circumstances, and stayed together because of love.

From left to right: Chiyori Konishi (Ace), Yuuto Ogata (Clubs), Yoshiho Tokutome (Diamonds), Daizen Kumakura (Hearts), Sanosuke Kudou (House), Kokichi Ouma (Joker), Naoki Hasegawa (King), Keito Kanazawa (Queen), Roiyaru Ezawa (Jack), Yuusuke Mochizuki (Spades)

This is a model of the DICE base I made in the Sims 4. The building is an abandoned warehouse in Nishitōkyō, Tokyo. It took a lot of work for them to get it into living condition, but they managed to make it their home.

Front exterior of the building. The camera was a recent installation after Kokichi started attending Hope's Peak Academy and got funding to further develop his talent.

Side exterior of the building. Since the building is abandoned, they have to manually drag a dumpster to their base for use. They swap it out with an empty one once it is full.

The rooftop of the building. They have set up rain catchers as their main source of water. They usually get drinking water by filling up bottles in drinking fountains.

The main floor along with the kitchen. Most of their furniture was salvaged from the trash, stolen, or something they built themselves. The ping pong table and foosball table were recently bought.

The TV area. This is where the members usually lounge about whenever they aren't on missions or busy with their lives. There is a projector set up with a screen for them to watch TV and movies on.

Since the girls needed private living arrangements, they managed to find two storage containers to repurpose into bedrooms. Keito has a personal room and stays in the blue one, while Chiyori and Yoshiho share the red one.

This was once the staff area. Now the group have repurposed it into their sleeping area. Bunk beds are set up for the boys to sleep. Since Kokichi now lives in the dorms, he told them not to bother with a bed for him. He sleeps on the couch in the TV area whenever he visits the base.

The lockers were already in the warehouse so they now use it as their wardrobe. They had decorated the worn down structure with graffiti, posters, and memorabilia that they have. It wasn't enough to cover the damages but it was enough to make it feel like their own.

They stole a couple of mannequins to use as stand-ins for planning out missions and for pranks.

This was once an office of a manager, now it is their planning room. They have files about their targets, past operations, and details like their glitter and confetti contacts. There is a corkboard at the back of the room for details about various operations.

This shipping container is where the members go to build and make things that isn't safe to be made in their living area. It is just outside the building and it has a ventilation in case of any dangerous fumes.

I'm working on the next entry. In the meantime, here's another infodump for my "Hopelessly Talented and Hope-filled Talentless" AU

Izuru is very protective of Hajime because he saw how differently people treat Hajime in comparison to him.

Although Hajime is labeled as the representative of the Reserve Course, there have been a lot of mixed reactions from the Reserve Course students about his status. It was mostly caused by envy, but he does have people in his corner. One of those people is Natsumi Kuzuryuu.

Hajime is the more skilled skateboarder because of experience. Izuru could be as skilled as him, but he chose not to bother after learning the basics.

Nagito and Kirumi enjoy gardening. They have a lot of indoor plants in various rooms and a small garden on the balcony of their loft.

DICE was comprised of a small group of 5. Kokichi was the youngest at the time when he assembled them. After they ran away from their orphanage, they slowly gain a reputation amongst specific circles. Eventually, they grew into a group of 10.

Class 77-B consider Hajime an honorary 17th classmate. He gets along with most of the class, but he has a complicated friendship with Mahiru because of what happened between Natsumi and Sato.

Time for another infodump on my Komahina Love is War AU. I decided to provide more information on the side characters this time around. Let me know if there is any particular character you want me to go into more detail about~

Natsumi and Fuyuhiko are 2 year apart in age. Their close ages also mean that they had a lot of petty competitions with each other. Her favorite was the one where they competed to see who could shoplift from the most convenient stores since she would get to spend time with Fuyuhiko while enjoying their stolen goods afterwards.

Kaede is elected as the class representative for class 79. However, she tended to forget her responsibilities in favor of playing the piano. Although she was pretty good at helping and leading her classmates, a lot of the work would get done by Shuichi, Angie, or Kirumi.

Taka has actually taken a softer approach to his disciplinary actions during his time at Hope’s Peak Academy. He wouldn't tell at students in the middle of the hallway if he could, rather he would pull them a side to lecture them. His classmates have been trying to help him with his social skills. Kokichi was one of the few students who could get Taka to lecture him in the middle of a crowd without hesitation.

Yoshiya’s name is very well known around Tokyo, especially Shibuya, because of his musical career. However, he rarely makes public appearances so not many people know what he looks like.

DICE works on a very interesting morality scale. While they love to cause chaos with their petty crimes, they do have respect for the law, much like Kokichi does. They often drop anonymous tips about major crimes to police officers and detectives with a trusted reputation. Although they don’t trust many adults because of their pasts, they understand that some situations are too much for a group of vigilante troublemakers to handle.

The official name for the AU I came up with was the "The Hopelessly Talented and the Hope-filled Talentless" but I'm so used to referring to it as the Komahina Love is War AU that I don't know which sticks better lol

Anyways, this time I have more lore about their living arrangements. Hope's Peak Academy offers free dorms for the Main Department since they can come from anywhere. However, they are also optional if the student has other living arrangements that they prefer.

Hajime lives with his father in his childhood home at Edogawa. Since Hope's Peak Academy doesn't offer lodging for the Reserve Course, Hajime commutes to school every day by skateboard or by public transport if Izuru stays over for the night.

Izuru technically lives at the school dorms as per his mother's request. However, he prefers staying with Hajime and his father when he can. Because of that, they have a futon on standby so he can sleep in Hajime's room.

Nagito has an apartment in Nishiasakusa where he lives in with Kirumi. After Kirumi was accepted into Hope's Peak Academy, she insisted on staying in the apartment since it is her duty as a maid to serve her employer.

Kokichi lives in the school dorms, but he does go to visit the DICE base in Nishitōkyō as often as he can for various heists and operations.

The next installment in "The Hopelessly Talented and the Hope-filled Talentless" is finally ready :D

I'm excited to show this to you guys, we've got more characters making their first appearance. I hope you all like it ^^

I have once again booted up Sims 4 and made a floorplan for Hajime's house. It is located in a suburb in Edogawa.

Hajime has been living in this house since he was born. He still remembered a time when he could his family talking to each other over dinner, or when his mother would get him and Izuru to work in the garden. While the house was sparser than it was before, it was still home to Hajime and Izuru.

An overview of the first floor. The living room has an old and worn couch in front of a TV set. The kitchen was usually occupied by his father, who was the homemaker before the divorce. His father would still try to cook for Hajime and Izuru if he wasn’t tired after his shifts at the office, but Hajime had taken it upon himself to cook simple meals for them.

An overview of the Second Floor. It consisted of a bathroom and two bedrooms. Next to the stairway was a table with some of Hajime’s awards. While it wasn’t as many as Izuru’s collection, his father wanted to showcase some of Hajime’s achievements. 

Hajime’s awards display was the first thing people notice once they arrive on the second floor. After Hajime and Izuru started going to different schools, Hajime got some awards for sports, public speaking, and debating. His father wanted him to display them on the bookshelf on the first floor, but Hajime refused and wanted to keep them boxed up in his room.

This was the compromise they reached.

The master bedroom that his parents shared, now only his father slept in this room. His mother didn’t take much after the divorce, leaving with only personal items and Izuru. His father didn’t have the heart to toss anything else.

Hajime’s room is the quintessential teenage boy bedroom. He shared the room with Izuru whenever Izuru slept over, just like when they were younger. The Bisexual flag in his room was an apology gift from Sonia. She made a remark about Teruteru, to which Hajime reminded her not to associate all bisexuals with Teruteru and mentioned that he was bisexual as well. Sonia was horrified at her ignorance and gave Hajime the flag after school.

Hajime and his father did their best to remove the childish decor from the bedroom, and anything they couldn’t remove was covered up.

Hajime’s skateboard is one of his most prized possessions. Because of this, he keeps the boards even when they no longer usable and puts them on the wall as mementos. He also has pictures of his friends and of Izuru displayed on his wall. He also has pictures of when they were younger, but none of those pictures have his mother in them.

The saga continues

There is a bunch of lore that I wrote for my Komahina Love is War AU. I figured I would share some here. For now, I'm just going to share some info on my version of Hope's Peak Academy.

The Reserve Course isn't just a way for the school to make revenue, and especially not to be used for human experimentation. It's a way for Hope's Peak Academy to branch out and provide quality education, like an elite private school.

While the Main Department was funded by the government, the Reserve Course was not. It was fully dependent of the tuitions to function, therefore there was originally no plans for offering scholarships for the Reserve Course. Hajime is the exception.

Hope's Peak Academy did put in the effort to make sure that the education that the Reserve Course was receiving was top-notch. However, there was a deep-rooted bias against the Reserve Course but not everyone felt the same about it.

The Main Department also has the privilege of living on campus without any charge and full access to various research labs set up throughout the school. There was also an unspoken rule that the Main Department student were the only ones who could receive leadership positions. That was because the bias against the Reserve Course students would put them near the bottom of any election or vote.

People have questioned it and challenged it, but none of the past efforts lasted for long. Either the Main Department and the administration would ignore the Reserve Course students, or the Reserve Course students would snub the Main Department student trying to rally them because they thought it was out of pity. It was only when Izuru and Hajime acted as voices for both departments that major changes were finally happening.

Jin Kirigiri was more than happy to help the twins when they asked for his help. He had noticed the disparity when he became the headmaster but he couldn't do anything reckless that could damage the school and the students, so he was hoping for an opportunity for change.
