Abhijith Gopakumar S ഹരീഷ് ഉത്തമനെ  ആദ്യം ആയി കാണുന്നത് മുംബൈ പോലീസിൽ ആണ്. ചെറിയ റോൾ ആണെങ്കിൽ പോലും നമ്മൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്ന തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ളൊരു ആറ്റിട്യൂട് ആയിരുന്നു റോയി എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിനു.പിന്നീട് പാണ്ടിയനാട് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പുള്ളി തമിഴൻ എന്ന് കരുതി.തുടർന്ന് പിസ്സാസ്,മേഗാമൻ തുടങ്ങിയ സിനിമകളിൽ ഈ "തമിഴനെ" കണ്ടൂ. പിന്നീട് തനി ഒരുവനിൽ നായകൻ്റെ സുഹൃത്ത് ആയി നല്ലൊരു വേഷം. ഭൈരവ, DJ, ഡോറ എന്നീ സിനിമകൾക്കു ശേഷം വീണ്ടും ആഷിക് അബു ചിത്രം മായാ നദിയിൽ മികച്ചൊരു വേഷം. അപ്പൊൾ ആണ് പുള്ളി മലയാളി ആണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞത്... പിന്നെ കോടതി സമക്ഷം ബാലൻ വക്കീൽ, കൽകി എന്ന് രണ്ടു മലയാളം സിനിമകൾ കൂടി. എന്നാല് തുടർന്ന് വന്ന കൈതിയിലെ അടയ്ക്കളം പുള്ളിയെ ലോകേഷ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിൻ്റെ ഭാഗം ആക്കി. വിക്രം സിനിമയിൽ കാമിയോ ആണെങ്കിലും കൈതി രണ്ടിൽ നല്ല സ്ക്രീൻ ടൈം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം..കടാവർ, ഭീഷ്മ പർവത്തിൽ ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇനി ഉത്തരം എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ പുള്ളിക്ക് ഗംഭീര മുഴുനീള വേഷം ആയിരുന്നു. പ്രിഥ്വി ടോവിനോ എന്നിവരുടെ വില്ലൻ ആകാൻ പറ്റിയ ശരീരം ആണ് പുള്ളിയുടെത് എങ്കിലും ഇത്തരം മലയാള സിനിമ നടന്മാർക്ക് ഉള്ള പ്രത്യേകത അവർക്ക് കാരക്ടർ മുതൽ കോമഡി വരെ നന്നായി വഴങ്ങും എന്നത് ആണ്. ബിജു മേനോൻ, സുരേഷ് കൃഷ്ണ ഒടുവിൽ ജോജു വരെ അതിനു ഉദാഹരണം ആണ്. ഹരീഷ് മികച്ച രീതിയിൽ കോമഡി ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ആളാണ് എന്ന് തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. മലയാളി കുടുംബത്തിൽ ആണ് ജനനം എങ്കിലും തമിഴ്നാട്ടിൽ വളർന്നത് കൊണ്ട് പുള്ളിക്ക് അനായാസം തമിഴ് വഴങ്ങുനത് കൊണ്ട് റിയാസ് ഖാനെ ഒക്കെ പോലെ അവർ ഏറ്റെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട് . കൈതി എന്ന ആക്ഷൻ സിനിമയിൽ ഒരു ഇടി കൊടുക്കുകയോ കൊള്ളുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ടെറർ അന്യായം ആയിരുന്നു.മലയാളം തമിഴ് കന്നഡ തെലുങ്ക് ഒക്കെ ഹരീഷ് നല്ല കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു. കൈദി 2, വിക്രം 2 ന് ഒക്കെ കാത്തിരിക്കാം. ** 1982 ഏപ്രിൽ 5 -ന് കോയമ്പത്തൂരിലെ ഒരു മലയാളി കുടുംബത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു. കണ്ണൂർ തലശ്ശേരിയാണ് സ്വദേശം. ഉത്തമൻ, വസന്ത എന്നിവർ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ. കോയമ്പത്തൂരിലെ രുഗ്മിണി കണ്ണൻ വിദ്യാലയ ഹയർ സെക്കന്ററി സ്കൂൾ, ഡോ. ജി ആർ ഡി കോളേജ് ഓഫ് ആർട്സ് ആന്റ് സയൻസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലായിരുന്നു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം. പഠനത്തിനുശേഷം ഹരീഷ് ഉത്തമൻ പാരമൗണ്ട് എയർവേയ്സിൽ കാബിൻക്രുവായി ജോലിയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. അക്കാലത്ത് മോഡലിംഗിലും സാന്നിധ്യമറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. പാരമൗണ്ട് എയർവെയ്സിൽ മൂന്ന് വർഷത്തെ സേവനത്തിനുശേഷം ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് എയർവെയ്സിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യവേയാണ് 2010 ൽ R K സൂര്യ പ്രഭാകർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത Tha എന്ന തമിഴ്ചിത്രത്തിൽ നായകവേഷം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് സിനിമയിലെത്തുന്നത്. ഈ ചിത്രം 2011ലെ നോർവേ, തമിഴ് ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റിവലിൽ (NTFF) പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും മികച്ച പുതുമുഖത്തിനുള്ള അവാർഡിന് ഹരീഷ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുകയുമുണ്ടായി. തുടർന്ന് രണ്ടു വർഷത്തിനു ശേഷം ഗൗരവം എന്ന തമിഴ്-തെലുങ്ക് ഭാഷകളിലായിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രത്തിലും അഭിനയിച്ച ഇദ്ദേഹം, 2013 ൽ റോഷൻ ആൻഡ്രൂസിന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തിലിറങ്ങിയ മുംബൈ പോലീസ് എന്ന സിനിമയിലൂടെയാണ് മലയാളത്തിലെത്തുന്നത്. തുടർന്ന് മായാനദി, കോടതിസമക്ഷം ബാലൻ വക്കീൽ, കൽക്കി, കാസിമിന്റെ കടൽ ,ഭീഷ്മപർവ്വം എന്നീ മലയാള സിനിമകളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. Pisasu, Thani Oruvan, Thodari, Kavacham, Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, Vinaya Vidheya Rama എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെ തെന്നിന്ത്യയിലെ എല്ലാ ഭാഷകളിലുമായി അൻപതിലധികം സിനിമകളിൽ വേഷമിട്ടിട്ടുള്ള ഹരീഷ് Kalaivu, Azh Kadal തുടങ്ങിയ തമിഴ് ഷോർട്ട് ഫിലിമുകളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മേക്കപ്പ് ആർട്ടിസ്റ്റായ അമൃത കല്യാൺപൂർ ആയിരുന്നു ഹരീഷ് ഉത്തമന്റെ ഭാര്യ. 2019 ൽ ഈ ബന്ധം വേർപിരിഞ്ഞതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് 2022 ൽ ചലച്ചിത്ര നടി ചിന്നു കുരുവിളയെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു.

Meticulously executed. Some brilliant scenes. But for a film revolving around females, none of these characters worked for me. They were all pitch perfect on paper, actors were splendid...but.. After taste was one of anger. Nothing else. If that was the point of the movie, it certainly hit its target

SO WELL DONE. Splendid and hilarious writing. For such a heavy and almost preachy theme, the movie itself was delightfully handled with the lightest of touches. Vijay Sethupathi and team with their impeccable comic timing were perfectly cast. Rithika Singh was truly the best find of last year. What an amazing actress. And the lip sync. WONDERFUL.

P.S - Cheenu of Maadhu-Cheenu fame making an appearance after so long. Also the anni in OKK is kicking ass here.

Ahmm.. Strictly mediocre story, very predictable. But Nani is charming as usual. Natural star indeed. But after starring in a list of mostly well done movies, this was a let down. The songs are very pleasant though!

Another feel good movie from the Avasarala camp. Could have done with some crisper editing, but hilarious nevertheless. Loved the use of oka laalanaa. A true bromance indeed. Though the conflict is not really well sketched, the feel good scenes - true to life. Also crush on Naga Shourya stays unchanged.

P.S - Forgot to mention, super chill and completely unapologetic treatment of smoking in the movie.
