Located in central Shanghai, this multifunctional arts and culture complex is part of the Bund Finance Centre – a joint project between London-based practices Heatherwick Studio and Foster+Partners. Coal Drops Yard Part of the King's Cross Central development. Designed by Thomas Heatherwick and opened in October 2018. The two Victorian coal drops sheds were originally used to receive coal from South Yorkshire and transferred to narrowboats on the Regents Canal and to horse-drawn carts. The warehouses processed 8m tonnes of coal a year.
