Took a while to think of something that is not spoiler- But here we go

THaB's Lamb has issues with physical contact. They have a hard time being touched without reacting negatively to it. Sometimes it's ok, but very often it's not. Lamb's disciples can touch them if they ask beforehand, while followers are forbidden to even think about it: Lamb can touch you if you agree to, but you cannot touch them. This is because of the time Lamb was hunted down by the bishops, and other aggravating factors I will not spoil. But despite all that, they're still touch starved as fuck-

what's a characteristic you've given your Lamb and why?

I'll go first: My Lamb talks a lot. They're a rambler, and I got the idea from spamming the 'B to Bleat' button in game. Lil dude has a special button to repeatedly make noise

Ok so after reading everything that is out for the Vow to Ash AU i have allot of thoughts and i don't think i can just sit on them and wait so here you go. -Firstly it's very interesting to see an AU that takes the sacrifice route and runs with it. There are plenty of COTL AUs that i love but not many put Narinder in the crowned position and its fascinating to see what happens then. -Secondly, The Lamb while taking a massive hit to there psyche with the betrayal and the dying and the revival has taken this as well as one could hope. They do seem tired and more angry but they also are mortal again with all the problems that entails so you know that's fair. -Thirdly, I'm not one for slow burns into oblivion, I may be guilty of reading one too many sub-par romance fics but unless the story shows me the characters care about each other in more ways then " oh these two are in love just watch" im not buying it. But here we see the Lamb and Narinder act like people, people who are hurt and in a kinda fucked up power dynamic but they find ways to show they care. Narinder giving the Lamb the space they need to after dropping the bomb of " turns out a godly plot of revenge has some long term consequences and your the only person i can trust so i broke our promise" i mean Narinder didn't say it in the best way but what the hell were they supposed to do. Then we have the Lamb knowing about Narinder's arm problem even back in their crusading days and seeing it hasn't gone away so they go off on there own freshly out of resurrection and finds medicine that will find him specifically, Yes your a god buddy but you have a mortal body again so maybe check if something is edible first before relying on it to help a long term injury. and most importantly for this point, they talk like two people who know each other far too well would, the bicker and tease and yell and worry and go out of there way to be close to one another, mutual pining with genuine care and respect for one another, perfect chef kiss Finally, you given us teases of things to come and while i love a fixed perspective of a person learning a growing, i love seeing how a group sees the same events very differently. from what i can tell from the snippets yous posted and some guess work Team Death God has two groups off on the hunt, The Lamb and Narinder dealing with their problems, Sylvie, Pamner, and Baal covering more ground on there own adventure, and then Aym and Dipal trying to figure out why this is happening and more about magic through searching through tomes and history. Then we have Leshy and Miyu, i'm assuming Leshy is found rather fast and that brings up the fact that the bishops are back thus putting a bigger clock on the crown hunt before something else breaks. we don't have allot of info on Miyu but it seems the two of them will be calming presences to each other which they both seem to need. It's good to see Kallimar off on a quest and being a more active player in a story, and a badass bodyguard go up against our protagonists, kinda hoping that those two get the upper hand on Narinder and the Lamb to show how important teamwork is in a hunt like this. Lastly there is the missing siblings Heket and Shamura who im assuming are together until we get more said about them, Heket i've always seen as having the closest bond with Narinder but she's much more brawn to his magic. Shamura is always a wild card in any story, with the domain of War and Wisdom once held i picture him switching from fragile old man to prophetic visions and the most terrifying thing to see on the battlefield. you've shown off the next owner of the Purple Crown but will they learn how to use it before others track them down and try to take it from them.

Needless to say i can't wait for more and sorry for the long post i just can't help myself when i get sucked into a story. hope to see more in the future and have fun writing

I love when ppl speculate abt my au...it makes me so happy!!! Im glad you are enjoying it this much :D love the analisis you did on Lamb and Nari's relationship so far!! I wanted to take an approach of "I'm very mad at you. But yes, I'd be there to hold you as you cry." because lets face it, you just dont let go of feelings so deep just like that, do you?

As for the rest of the siblings....Heket and Shamura havent come into frame tbh because im still figuring out how to draw them EWJROIEJRFEW BUT THEY ARE THERE. THEY WILL BE (I also agree on Heket being the closest to Narinder, it just makes sense!)

Uhh kinda not directly related to your au but how much of the Bilehwit au will be based on your own cotl gameplay & how much will be oc content made for a story in mind?

Well, the AU is actually based on a mix of my first ever game (now completed) and a newer game save I have used to remind myself of each area. It is also dosed with a healthy amount of off game things - I use it as a baseline for the main plot lines, such as dungeons and boss fights, but cult life and worldbuilding are much larger, exploring more than just running and grinding resources.

I do want to also explore more of the culture of each area, with undercover missions and such into areas to avoid repetitive fighting through the many, many mini-bosses. This is based on my own personal headcanons, and I have been and will be researching my chosen cultures as much as possible.

So while I will be going through plot points of the game, that is more of a goal to reach rather than the focus of the story, which is exploring Bilehwit as a leader and Narinder as a god, and what that relationship entails. It is a lot more relationship focused than the game, though some mechanics do exist! I am trying hard to make it exciting and fun!

My cult in the game was wild as all hell I will not lie. I was out there getting faith low as hell then using blessings to bring it back up when we had no food, and panicking a lot. My lamb in game was as feral as I was, the fighting style very much... hit it 'til it dies and before it kills you. I beat Kallamar first try on about 4 hearts with nothing but screams and panic in my soul.

I am not a good gamer, I prefer watching, but I have all DLC's on my switch and quite a few on my hand-me-down playstation (did I have to save for those, lordy) and I mostly work with the cult rather than fight. The second I got the 'go-home-free' thing from Leshy i started just escaping my dungeon runs when i had collected enough resources to not be impacted by the percentage loss.

Essentially, I am no gamer girl (I am no woman or man anyway but the vibes remain) but I do enjoy the game on easy and medium! And I fight with pure tornado power, never dodging, only hitting until they or I am dead xx

Well, since I didn't really get an answer from the poll earlier, I'm just gonna post about Jack's creator(s) first.

If you go back a lil bit on my page, you'll probably recognize the red guy from some scp fanart I made a bit ago but they're not really an scp oc, I just like the idea of my creepypasta universe is the same as the scp one.

But on with the story, in my au, I made Jack's creator this eldritch horror who was once a god of the old faith but was sent to eternal damnation when the world ended. Hungry and weak, they used the last of their powers to conjure up their own version of the world. However, this one was far more wicked than the last. (Que all the creepypasta backstories/scps being out in the wild) :3

I want to say that Entity (red guy) came from a world like ours, but they weren't allowed to do much cause God would have killed them sooner.

Centuries have passed, and Entity had once again grown weak. Around the time of Noah, when angels were having kids with humans and they were turning evil, that's when Entity came up with a plan. Needing a new body, they searched through the crowd of anxious people when Entity finally picked out the perfect vessel for their escape. A young half breed boy (I'm gonna call him Icarus).

Long story short, Entity let's the child die in the flood so they can claim the boy in hell. Knowing that this child is no use to them dead, they resurrect him and place them in a new smaller pocket dimension to raise them away from the world where the boy gets raised into becoming a false prophet and leads poor souls to be claimed by this Eldritch horror.

Now, I don't mean to get biblical in this time of pride month, but I do want to add a bit of spice to Jack's creator other than the basic they're an angel. Now I know I didn't get to how Jack was made, but we'll get to that later cause I need to sleep ./.

I honestly got this idea kinda sorta from a COTL fans fansong when I was listening to it at work. The songs name is The One Who waits if any care to know:/

Tf2 sky cotl au GO

General au world building trivia;

-i am removing Home Space (aka the 'main hub' and starting place of the game)

-since i removed it, players now randomly start in one of the seven realms in the game, big F for those who land in those certain realms

-sky kids can be creature like. As a treat. They can also now modify clothing. Because why the hell not. (funky thing but Medic was going to have bird legs, but i remembered having a hard time drawing an oc with those so i just didn't give him said legs)

-Traveling Spirits are now literal, mostly just exploring the place, certain spirits are harder to find tho

-The Kingdom of Sky is now much. Much. Bigger. Traveling all over the place takes longer than you think, unlike the rather short time in-game, traveling a whole realm can take a whole day for a sky kid

-it is 10× harder to get to your friends now because Home Space doesn't exist. Unless you have warp with each other. If you dont. hope you get lucky and you find them in the same place you were going to.

-the Office is a rumor sky kids say where the oddest items come from, like odd cake and balloons.

-sky kids definitely 'live' in certain places, like behind temples or inside caves, typically very homey for technically immortal flying children.

-sky kids only have to go through Eden ONCE. Just to go see Mega Bird. its an inate thing. But it only needs to happen once. The time it takes for a sky kid to get there can vary from sky kid to sky though

The Tf2 part;

-Scout (who used to go by Jeremy, because that was the nickname given by Spy(whose nickname was given by Scout)) was a moth who fell into Eden, and was found by Spy, they had had a nice short adventure around the realms (as one could call it 'short') before going back to Eden to finish the journey (like any sky kids). Unfortunately they accidentally get separated in Stormlock, and while Spy got through, Scout got stuck. also he got hit by a few rocks in certain spots so Head Concussion Caused Amnesia

-Now, Mundee (Sniper nickname will be aquired later on) is also a recent moth (hes supposed to fall into Valley but accidentally went into the windpaths, so technically he's a Forest moth) who is now also going through Eden. And found Scout stuck there, like any sky kid, he helped Scout go through Eden and they finished it together. They became friends after that

-Heavy and his sisters where moths who fell into Wasteland, was guided by two older Sky kids until a shard fell down and one of them was attacked by crabs while trying to escape, after unfortunately loosing them, they found a safe place and settled there

-while finding stuff to make their home homier, Heavy found an abandoned krill nest and found a young krill, nurtured it by feeding it candles and now Heavy has a big friendly krill lovingly named Sasha, Heavy and his sisters are guides in wasteland and help other Sky kids go through certain parts that are considered hard to get through, Sasha helps sometimes by attacking other krills

-Medic is a fell into Vault, found something. Did something. Was kicked out of Vault. Don't ask.

-he's currently traveling through Wasteland now since he just got kicked out of Vault, in a group being guided by Heavy (who was planning to finally go on journey through the realms b4 going to Eden), Big krill spotted them, Sasha comes, Big krill fight, Sasha wins but is heavily wounded, Heavy is very worried for Sasha, other sky kids don't know how to treat krills, since most spells and potions they know are light based.

-except Medic. Medic did stuff and helped Sasha and now Heavy cares very lot for Medic for helping Sasha

-Heavy decided he and Sasha will tag along with Medic. Medic is definitely cool with it, totally not def not curious about the very first darkness creature he met- and even touched! And the sky kid who managed to tame it...

Staring at the dandelions where she once lay

Through the forest, full of mushrooms dangerous to my kind.

But who would have seen the greater danger that was to arrive.

Through the broken temple we fled.

To the frozen mountains that need not a sled.

The creature was there. Still in pursuit of the light of the other.

I convinced them to go forward. And in darkness I was smothered.

The howls and screams of those who have fallen to this ball of darkness roared all around me.

I roared back and they screamed for me to join. But I saw through the facade clearly.

I was not about to be taken by the darkness like my long gone friend had

The elder came to help. But he was rather sad.

He went away in a flash of light. The battle came to an end.

The light child hugged me. I was their friend.

Just when I thought that my life was at its downfall.

It looks like I have so much more to live for after all.

This is a poem I wrote to depict some events that happened in this Sky cotl au server me and some friends made! (Its basically kind of like an apocalyptic like au??) I just suddenly had the idea to write this! So yeah! (The au doesnt have a name yet, we kinda just named the server "Sky children that die" kgsvykvvkh)
