My Epic Bread Recipe

>mix 3/4 cup warm cow's milk with 0.13 cups granulated sugar

>add 1/4 tsp active dry yeast to the mixture, set aside

>melt 4 tbsp of salted butter, set this aside too

>combine 2 large chicken eggs and 1/2 cup granulated sugar, mix mechanically on low until it makes a foam. set aside.

>realized you only added a quarter of the yeast required. hastily add 3/4 tsp active dry yeast to the milk mixture.

>stand around waiting for it to activate

>gently mix it into the foam, then add 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

>mix until its nice and bubbly, then mix in 3 cups of all purpose flour

>leave it to proof for 3 hours, realize that it was too cold the entire time and didn't proof at all.

>put it on a lowest-heat double boiler setup and let it proof, for real this time

>come back after an hour and try to knead the dough, get scared after a sticky catastrophe and leave it for another hour

>come back again, confident now. You are the higher life form, not the yeast. growl at it to show it you arent scared

>knead it on a floured surface, struggling and adding increasingly preposterous amounts of extra flour that it absorbs into its sticky mass with ease.

>sigh in defeat. shuffle the sticky mess into a parchment-paper lined breadpan. leave it to proof again

>preheat oven to 350. make egg-basting-thing with 1 egg and some milk.

>baste the top of the bread and then cook it for 30 minutes
