Actually, there’s a reason why I keep calling her cracker despite her “not being white.” She used the term “zipperhead.” This is not a very well-known term and most people have probably never heard of it or if they have, they probably don’t know what it means. It can be a very triggering word for some people. I’ve been called it many times so I’m not bothered by it. However…

Throughout all my engagements with people who are prejudice, racist, or bigoted of any kind, there is only one type of people that I’ve encountered that have used that term. They’re the most extremist white people, the hardcore white extremists with symbols and numbers all over their profiles. Not even low-level white supremacists or bigots will use that term (at least from my encounters). That’s what made me suspicious because she used it.
